About this house rental

My Point of View is a bay front home with beautiful views of the bay. Talk about gorgeous sunsets! This is a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home that has been completely renovated. This home features 2 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 twins. Maximum occupancy is 8. The twin beds are located upstairs in the loft with panoramic views of the bay. It has 3 full bathrooms, 2 bathrooms are tub/shower combo, and one bathroom is a shower with a toilet. The washer and dryer are also located in this bathroom. Every bedroom has a smart TV. There is a view of the bay from every room in this home. The kitchen comes well stocked with pots and pans for all of your cooking needs It has a keurig coffee maker, all you need to do is bring your food, condiments and coffee and your are set to go. The living room features a large Smart TV. This home is 2165 sq feet and is large enough for the whole family. You can sit on the porch and enjoy the bay breeze while you watch the bald eagle at the empty lot next door. You will also see plenty of mullet jumping out of the water. There are two docks. The deep water dock is shared with the home next door. The deep water dock is 155 feet long. All you have to do is drive your boat over from the pier and you are ready to go out fishing. The smaller dock/boathouse is for kayaks only. Bring your kayaks or rent one on the island to kayak in the bay. This home is a fisherman's dream He can go out and catch dinner while the wife and kids play in the pool or take a short golf cart or car ride to the beach. Golf carts can also be rented on the island. There is a stainless steel park style grill, all you need to bring is your charcoal. The pool is located so that you have views of the bay as well. The pool is shared with the home next door. The home next door has an occupancy of 6. The pool can be heated in the fall for an additional fee. The pool is heated in the Spring at no additional charge. The Pool is NOT heated in November, December, January and February., Sorry no smoking, no pets allowed. Smart TV's and internet is provided for all of your streaming needs. You need your own streaming account. Cable TV is no longer provided.

We enjoyed staying on the bay for the first time. The views were great and fishing off the dock. The only problem was there were 5 or 6 dead palmetto’s or roach bugs dead in the floor on the second day there another that we had to kill and by the end of the week there were several I swept up end made a picture of I am hoping that the house was recently sprayed.

Just perfect!

Just perfect!

A great spot, exactly as described, it is a private home not attached to another home. The bottom floor isn’t used, the main floor is the one with the balcony, and then the loft bedroom is in the tiny top part. It was clean, spacious, and has everything we needed! The rock is awesome! Pool is pretty small and hot but everything was just awesome!

Loved the house and location. Pictures online do not do it justice. New pictures could make it even seem more picturesque. Only one thing to complain about is that the tile floors were not clear when we checked in. My wife takes her shoes off when she enters a house and the bottom of her feet turned black. Also one of the toilets had rings at the water line but a quick swish with the toilet brush took care of that. I hope we can stay again soon and will look into renting the sister house next door for a larger family get together.

Had a great stay! Boat slip was unusable due to the water level being so low even at high tide, just FYI for those bringing boats. We used the main dock without issue.

This property and Home is wonderful. The house is clean and fully stocked. The property offers beautiful views of the Bay and Sunsets in the evenings. You can fish right off the docks and then cool off in the pool. If your a nature lover, you can sit and watch the schools of fish swimming in the bay. We even saw a pod of Porpoises one morning. The house is close to the center of the Island so your close to shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this Vacation Home to any considering visiting St. George Island.

Wonderful stay here. Lots of room and easy to get to everything on the island. Liked the quiet street and fishing from the dock. The pictures really undersell how nice the place is, it looks like it was recently redone and the beds, furniture and everything was very comfortable.

Plenty of room for the family, the heated pool was nice, as the weather changed on us. The views are absolutely stunning! It was too cold and windy to take the boat out, but we enjoyed fishing off the main dock. The only thing I would say is we had problems with the TV’s. We never found the TV remotes for the Master Bedroom, and though we had the remotes for the guest bedrooms, we never got them to work, now it may have been user error, haha! The main living TV worked with satellite as best it could considering the rain/ windy conditions. Honestly it didn’t bother us at all, we stayed busy. Would we stay here again ABSOLUTELY!!! Book it, you won’t be disappointed. Nancy, was attentive, in addressing all my concerns/ questions I had upon arrival. Directions to use the property, direct, and easy to follow!

Location was excellent. Close to town for convenience. Docks were very nice. Normally we visit the island twice a year and have done this since 2007. We typically stay in early summer and again in the fall. This was our first time staying on the island at this time of year and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is beautiful property. The photos posted online made it seem a little dark and dated but we booked at the last minute and had few options. I was pleasantly surprised to find an immaculately clean, inviting home when we arrived. Let me back up a minute and say that St. George Island is a wonderful place to stay in general. It has miles of white sand beaches, a few small restaurants and stores but mostly peace and quiet. Most people use golf carts or bikes (both can be rented from several places) in order to get around. This house is situated on the bay (the Island is less than a mile wide) so we easily walked, took the golf cart or bikes to the beach almost every day. We didn’t go every day because the newly renovated dock (there are 2 at the house) was so much fun. We spent hours fishing together or jumping off the (main) dock into the cool water. There is also a smaller dock on the side of the house which was nice but we didn’t use it much. The water around the dock varied in height from thigh high to chest high and had a sandy bottom. We spent hours out there fishing, swimming, throwing a ball back and forth and just sitting on the dock watching the porpoises and fish jump. Yes, we saw porpoises many times and they came close to the dock. The house itself is obviously older but has been extensively renovated and was very clean. All the appliances were in good working order and the kitchen was well appointed. We didn’t eat out much due to covid so we tended to cook and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We had a small issue with a leak but I contacted the owner who responded immediately and had it handled. He even showed us the house next door which would be perfect to rent with this house if you have a larger family as they share a pool and the docks. We have rented many homes on St. George Island and everyone agreed that this one is our favorite.
