Crosland Cottage had everything we needed for our two night stay. It’s a really cosy and warm cottage, which has lovely views of the valley to appreciate.
The kitchen is really well equipped and the bed was really comfy.
Nothing

Lovely rural location. Cosy, bijou cottage full of history. Perfect for a couple of nights and a small party of people. Library of books and some board games, too. Modern facilities throughout.
Kitchen area was very small though great for a couple. Would have liked a vegetable peeler.

Loved everything about it. The house was super cute and cozy and it's great area to explore!

enjoyed being in a traditional type dwelling in the stunning home valley

lovely and cozy little cottage, great access to the Peak District, ideal to come back and rest from a nice hike.
it was as expected, being a small village there was limited access to shops, supermarkets
4.5
Quiet location suitable for single or couple.
Breakfast not included however a very basic welcome pack was available which included tea, coffee and milk.
Cottage has period character however would be cramped if more than two people were staying and only two dining chairs available. Attention to detail such as ironed bedding would improve the general presentation.

Lovely location near Holmfirth. Would happily have stayed longer. Very comfortable and cosy with a personal touch.
The weather! But that's Yorkshire....

Sweetest little cottage, perfect for our Christmas stay close to family nearby. Hosts had put up a tree and decorations, which made it even more festive. A perfect spot.
4.5
cosy, well presented and equipped (except for soap which we’d forgotten to pack).
About the property itself, there was nothing to dislike. However, despite detailed directions, we had difficulty finding the exact entrance in complete darkness. A light sensor and a numbered pointer (No.5) would’ve helped.
4.5
Comfortable beds.warm and cosy cottage. Very clean.good location for walking and town centre.
No hand-wash provided...slippery path by the door when wet as I discovered
4.5
Nice and typical cottage in a quit residential area at Holmbridge. Full kitchen Equipment. For a longer stay a little bit too small for 2 adults and two Teens. Very beautiful hiking tracks near the house.

it was so very very clean and tidy
very cute and unique
for a few days was very lovely, nothing really to complain about
the cream carpet with children was an anxiety rush
and a little small for our five to all fit in.

cozy cottage was perfect for the two of us
the location is outside holmfirth.

Cosy cottage, close to Holmfirth Vineyard where we were going to a wedding.
Tricky to find. Steep path and steps to property.
4.5
Cozy, comfortable, quirky, well equipped. Nice views.
Quite a long way from town or any facilities. Reflected in the price

Location was great.

Everything was nice and clean and cosy. Lovely nature and quiet area. Great walks around town.
I liked everything. My partner didn't like the bed as it was to soft for him, but for me it was perfect.

Beautiful location, fantastic views. Nice cosy cottage, great shower, comfortable bed.

Location was ideal, cottage was lovely and quaint
The fact the provide essentials is a caring gesture.
The holes were previos light fitting had been removed not covered, exposed gas pipe not capped off.
Cracks in ceiling and damp in bedroom wall not been treated.
4.5
Great accommodation and close to everything we needed- loved it!
Nothing - everything was as expected if not better!
4.5
Location was superb and instructions to enter property was easy to follow
Master bedroom door cannot close easily as the door rubs on the floor

Ideally located for many walks out onto Pennines and into area around Holmfirth. As good a property as any other we have stayed in. Very good value for money especially in present Covid situation. Nice and quiet and would firmly recommend to any one wishing to stay in West Yorkshire.
Despite useful information from owner got just a little confused about location of Number 5, friendly neighbour helped. Never been in an overdwelling before so erroneously thought Stanley St was the row of houses behind Dobbs Lane. Anybody outside of Huddersfield area is bound to get confused?
4.5
Fantastic cosy cottage, clean, welcoming and well equipped. We would happily return and loved visiting surrounding beautiful scenery.
Downstairs bathroom.
4.5
Lovely location with great views across the valley. Tiny kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. Sitting room cosy bad so perhaps a little unnecessarily cluttered. The neighbours were all very friendly and chatting in the lovely sun trap backyard was lovely. Easy to walk into the lovely little town up the road.
Tiny downstairs bathroom and steep staircase both a little challenging perhaps. But that’s being picky! Also I wouldn’t want to share the specs as 4 adults. Three adults or 2 and 2 children would be comfortable.
