The property was easy to find, and was bright and warm. There was every utensil needed plenty of mugs etc. The rooms were bright and comfortable and very clean.
The front door was stiff and difficult to open and the key box was stiff and hard to open. The seagulls were extremely loud and woke us up at 5am so were unable to sleep with the windows open

Mousehole is such a magical place! Penzer Cottage is adorable and conveniently located for exploring the town’s shops & restaurants. You only need to walk a few steps to enjoy the enchanting views of the harbor & the sea. It’s only a short drive to many other beautiful places in south Cornwall. The cottage has an upstairs bathroom & downstairs shower room - hugely convenient & tough to find anywhere in the area. Keith, the owner/host, is very responsive & helpful - definitely follow his parking tips. We appreciated that he offered us a later checkout time since the next guests were not arriving until the following day.
Nothing! We were 2 couples traveling together so the 2 bathrooms were great! One of the bedrooms was a twin, but that was a better option than the cottages that have bunk beds (a common option in the area).

Very roomy. Had interesting books.
Adorable cottage!
No parking on site but car park wasn’t too far. The step down and back up between the bedrooms and bathroom was a little strange but there are good handles to hold onto while stepping down.

Loved the location. The Harbour was beautiful. The cottage was just in the right place.Lovely comfy beds, everything we needed for a great stay, warm & cozy..Missed the fish & chip sho though. The buses were every 2o minutes into Newly & Penzance,to hop on connecting buses to other places of interest.Thanku Keith & Ruth for a lovely stay.
The sofa & chairs bit uncomfortable, but other than that, perfect

The owners are drama and tricksters
First, I paid an appointment and the amount then it turned out that I had to pay extra about 60 pounds after negotiations with Booking.com and the owner turned out that they would not get along with Booking.com and on the day of departure the owner wrote to us that our holiday will start at 10am. At the beginning we had agreed in the correspondence from Booking.com that our hotel day would end at 9pm

This was a self catering cottage, options for breakfast locally felt restricted and costly
Parking is a difficulty which we were somewhat prepared for but did not realise quite how restricted and difficult it is in Mousehole.
Penzer cottage really has no outside seating/dining area which as weather improves would exacerbate it’s shortcomings more.

Charming cottage with comprehensive kitchen/bathroom/entertainment facilities. The location is excellent, right by Mousehole harbour. Some previous guests had complained about lack of cleanliness however the cottage had very obviously been given a deep clean just before we arrived (and smelled strongly of cleaning products!) and I would describe it as well cleaned for our stay.
A couple of the sofa covers could still do with deeper cleaning/replacing but this is minor. The view is not really a sea view - but I wasn't expecting it to be so no complaints. If you are planning to bring a car in summer, parking is very limited and you will probably need to park outside/on the edge of the village and walk in (we arrived on the bus so no issue for us).

Location, very central in centre of Mousehole and next to an excellent cafe/restaurant.
Spacious, well laid out cottage, well kitted out and decorated. Loved all the pictures, and ornaments. The upstairs was cleaner, than downstairs and the bedroom very cosy. Excellent very comfortable bed.
Appreciated all the extras in the cottage, tv in bedroom and lounge with great reception and channels, dishwasher, washing machine.
WIFI Good . Excellent walk in shower downstairs.
No Sea view unless you stood on a stool on a good day with binnoculars provided.
Kitchen was well equipped and decorated but not well cleaned.

Bright bedrooms, great shower, comprehensive facilities
Lounge had a mild damp smell, probably better in winter when fire & heating dries room out.

Mousehole was quaint. The house was very central in Mousehole. The interior of house was nice and well equipped. Shower was excellent and there were plenty of towels.
Rock Pool cafe was lovely; local buses convenient; lovely walk to Lamorna (though the toilets were closed) and lovely walk to Penzance, then bus to St Ives.
The house next door was being done up. The very narrow alleyway leading to our house had scaffolding along it and was most unattractive and difficult to find. Had to ask where it was at the nearby shop when we arrived. The builders were working on the wall of the house and every day the alleyway was littered with dust and lumps of masonry (They did sweep up at the end of the day). The small seating area was most unattractive being just by the bin and coated with builders dust. There were no flowers there as in the illustration.
Such a pity as out of the owners' control but detrimental to our experience.
Also Covid restrictions meant eating out in Mousehole was difficult, again, out of owners control.
Sea view is stretching it a bit! small sliver of sea visible on the horizon if you stood and looked out of the bedroom window

The cottage is a few steps from the harbour and from the village shops and pubs. It is well equipped with excellent use of the space in the small cottage. The bedrooms and upstairs bathroom are full of light and are simply but nicely decorated, and the shower in the downstairs shower room is generous both in terms of space and the shower itself. Great wifi and Sky and Spotify available on the large television. Very handy to have the use of the washer dryer. Keith the owner was very responsive.
The cottages in the centre of Mousehole are very on top of each other, which gives the village its character. The cottage is very central in the village, just a few steps from the harbour and close to everything, but might not be the place for you if you value privacy and peace and quiet over a central location.

The place is just lovely! We really loved the living room and spending our evenings there, also the shower was just amazing and we shall miss that water pressure now.

Two minutes walk from the harbour front. Comfortable furniture and beds. The inside of the property was pretty and it was as described.
The oven and microwave both needed cleaning. It was a shame that during our stay we were unable to sit in the courtyard (which was shown on the details)as the builders in the cottage next door used it as a building yard.

Location is ideal, and the house is well equipped (including Sky TV and access to Netflix). It is a 2-minute walk to the harbour. Parking is an issue, but that's the case anywhere in Mousehole, so not a surprise. We went as two friends and the house was just the right size for that. Kitchen well equipped and great appliances.
The house was not spotless on arrival. We had to clean the bathrooms ourselves before use as the sinks were not clean, and there were some dishes in the dishwasher. Considering the price we paid (which was reasonable in itself, given the location), this was surprising. There is no outdoor space - but we didn't expect this from the description. The harbour is a 2-minute walk away, with plenty of benches and lovely places to sit.

Great location in the centre of the village literally 1 min frim the harbour and 2 mins to the pub/shop.
Parking is horrendous in mousehole and this was the winter. It would put us off going again. Or we would look for a place with parking.

Lovely comfortable cottage. Nice and clean and quite. Fully equipped for a stay.
Parking was a nightmare. Even though I got a space outside pub every evening took me a time to get out of the space, as gap/entrance is tiny.
