The hotel is located right in the middle of the center and just a couple minutes walk from a number of sights, restaurants and shops.
It was modernized but still offered rustic charm and was very clean and well kept.
As many others have mentioned, the rooftop bar is amazing!
Hot water was not available for showers.
While the hotel is actually pretty insulated from city noise the rooms themselves are not very sound proof which means you can clearly hear what is happening in the courtyard where many of the rooms face.
The night we stayed a couple had hired a private saxophonist to serenade them while they danced in the courtyard. Charming in theory, but not so much when it is taking place 10ft from the door to your room and it’s just getting started at 11pm. The acoustics in the courtyard really amplify sound and ear plugs didn’t even muffle the sound. Perhaps plan for not so great sleep.
The hotel is not flexible for early check in, like not even an hour early without paying a pretty hefty fee.

Our week-long stay at Antigua Trece Hotel was an absolute delight, leaving us without a single regret. Reflecting on our journey back home, both my partner and I found ourselves in complete agreement – this was, without a doubt, the finest hotel experience we've ever encountered.
Service: The hotel staff's dedication to ensuring our comfort was unparalleled. Language barriers proved no obstacle, as they exhibited boundless patience and utilized tools like Google Translate to communicate seamlessly.
Culinary Delights: We indulged in the culinary wonders of their rooftop restaurant, which opens at 3pm and boasts an array of delectable dishes that are a must-try during your stay. Early risers are equally catered to with a charming poolside café.
Facilities: While I didn't have the opportunity to experience their wellness spa, as most of my evenings were spent on the captivating rooftop enjoying sunset vistas and a refreshing beer, the offerings were indeed tempting. We frequently opted to remain within the hotel, basking by the poolside or taking in the mesmerizing cityscape from the rooftop.
Tech-Savvy Comfort: For those needing to work or access the internet, Antigua Trece stands out. Unlike other hotels, each room boasts individual high-speed WiFi, ensuring consistent and reliable connectivity.
Ideal Locale: Nestled in the heart of Centro, the hotel's location is a mere 1-5 minute stroll from major attractions and an array of splendid dining options.
Our time at Antigua Trece Hotel surpassed every expectation, offering us an unforgettable experience of comfort, culinary excellence, and captivating views. We departed with a profound sense of gratitude for the remarkable stay we had the privilege to enjoy.

I love the location, the property and the staff. I felt very welcome and everyone was so helpful. The girls in the front desk went above and beyond to help me with all my needs. Thank you so much!!!
There was nothing that I didn’t like. Everything was 10/10

The property was well appointed and clean. There was a gorgeous stand alone tub in my room. They had a very nice roof deck with a bar and restaurant. The A/C worked very well.
The concierge at the desk was not helpful when I had problems with the wifi she insisted it was my iphone. The manager was more helpful but it took an hour or so to be able to get wifi working. I had no hot water in the shower. My room was pitch black which was okay for one night but if it were longer it would bother me.

great location, quiet, everything is very clean, delicious breakfast and a beautiful rooftop bar
our room is right next to the breakfast room, can hear other guest chatting in the morning. if you are planning to sleeping in better ask for another room

Modern and clean hotel in the center of the city. Great views of the valley from the rooftop. Fantastic patio with swimming pool.
Our room did not have window and was a bit noise since we were close to the breakfast area

no hot water , and also it was noisy

the location is great and if you get one of the lucky large and away from the reception rooms- it’s lovely.
some rooms are tiny with no windows, others are large with bathrooms and windows, noise travels and you can hear everything in the morning.

loved the room. comfortable, clean and with great shower. The internet works good for calls (good for nomad workers)
nothing to mention

beautiful decor, roomy
if you plan to walk, you will get a steep climb. I enjoyed the exercise

Antigua Trece was a short and very safe walk to my work at Teatro Juarez. Though it was very close to the Plaza de Los Angeles nightlife, once inside the hotel it was extremely quiet. Even with a band playing it was inaudible inside our room. The best of both worlds!
4.5
The location is nice, and the hotel has a nice rooftop bar.
I arrived at the hotel at 6:20pm. The room had to be cleaned and wasn’t ready until 7:40pm. The hotel makes guests sign a document acknowledging the 12pm check out, but can’t have rooms ready?? They even called us at 12:05pm to see if we were ready to check out. Also, the water pressure in the shower is a bit more than a drip with room temperature water at best. Not worth the price for 16 hours and no hot water or pressure.

A modern, well equipped hotel with a beautiful roof top terrace overlooking the city. The hotel was very clean and staff helpful, it is also well situated in the town centre with a short walk to sights and restaurants/cafes.
Our room was situated right next to the reception area and opened into the breakfast area, so there was a lot of noise coming through. The roof terrace can host private parties and when that is the case, there is a lot of loud music coming through until late at night and the town is also known for singing tours, which pass the hotel regularly - we heard one as late as midnight on one of the nights. So I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are an early/light sleeper or at least make sure you request a room at the back of the hotel.
