View and location are good, but be prepared for the stairs, as it takes some effort 😀
There was a coffee machine at the room and they did not provide coffee or tea until we asked for, this should be refill everyday. Shower need a lot of improvement they are too hot or to cold and no pressure, shower is not good

the hotel is located in the middle of Guanajuato, very difficult to find as there are no signs at all and it is up 80 stairs on a hill . Once we did find it there was no where to stop the car we were driving and unload our bags . We ended up parking in a public parking lot blocks away and walking back to ask where was their advertised parking, the young man said they didn’t have parking and we would have to go to their other Hotel that did then shuttle back to his . With no other choice we tried and tried to find this other hotel but became very lost . We called him for help and he said we were being rude but he would guide us by WhatsApp which we didn’t have . We ended up driving back to San Miguel de Allende

Room had a strong smell from drain in shower

The view is ok, close proximity to el jardin, although 90 plus stairs to the room. Staff is nice but won't go out of their way to correct issues.
dirty room, dirty bathroom, hotel needs major maintenance, moldy walls and ceiling, cheap patching jobs. Sheets where not washed and mattress had some life in it. Terrace drain was plugged so got wet feet. Two towels for two people for two nights, no hand towels. Requested more towels, only got one and took over two hours. No house keeping after first night, but then again why if it was not clean to begin with. requested 2 pm check in instead of 3 pm, was declined, no big deal but when I tried to pay for an hour with different credit cards, none worked, although all accounts were OK and cards worked at the near by OXXO, even contacted booking about the issue was told to be there at 2 pm to pay or the reservation will be canceled. yep, can't make up that crap. Overpriced for what you have to deal with.

The views to the city are amazing! customer service was great, helpful, friendly and informative. Parking is a plus, about 10 min from the hotel though… The hotel van will take you to your car.
The shower rails were dirty, the bedding is old and faded, the floor in our room was dirty. We could hear water running all day and night (we let the hotel staff know). the continental breakfast is limited to fruit, coffee/te and bread… Be aware, there are approx 100 steps to get to the hotel.

location, view of the city from our room
We were given a different room to the one we selected, the staff in the hotel tried their best to attend us but management did not care and didn’t want to hear about it and didn’t offer a solution. The room opened directly to the breakfast area so we could hear people having breakfast every morning from 8am to 10am. We had cockroaches in the bathroom on 3 different occasions. There are permanently stained foot prints in the room which make the floor look dirty and we were not previously made aware of.

I did not like anything about it.false advertising
No elevator..only worth it if you plan a hiking trip instead of resting and enjoying. Upfront, no info about the loooong hike that you must make in an incline stairway just to check in and then more stairs to your room. No cancellation..they did not empathize w the explanation about my mom hyperventilating after the long hike to the hotel. No refund. We occupied the room 5 minutes and lwft to a better location. No sense renting a room there away from everything..its quite a hike to get there...
