About this house rental
Polgweder is a brand new coastal house with incredible views to the sea, sky and coastline around Sennen Cove through huge floor-to-ceiling windows. It sits above the beautiful bay at Sennen, famous for its clean waters and white sands: perfect for swimmers, surfers and sunbathers. You can walk down to the beach on the footpath below the house in about 8 minutes. For walkers and explorers, you can walk out of the garden gate and onto the South West coastal path to to reach Land's End and all the magical coves and hidden beaches of the Far West.
The house itself is flooded with light and is furnished in a clean, stylish and contemporary style. Outside we have used the colours and materials of the Cornish landscape: granite and wood blend with sleek and modern glass. The main open plan living area is vaulted and spacious with breathtaking beach and sea views. There is a large, airy kitchen leading onto a glass-walled balcony where you will find chairs to sit and drink in the sea views and glorious sunsets. The kitchen is fully stocked with all a cook could need, plenty of cupboard space and worksurfaces, a large Neff induction hob, Neff oven, microwave, large larder fridge, freezer and wine cooler. The kitchen island and stools give onto a large dining table in front of full-height windows looking down onto the beach.
The sitting room is also vaulted, giving a great sense of light and space as you look through 3m-high windows onto the beach and seascape. There are comfortable sofas and chairs, a large TV, Sonos sound system and a contemporary wood burning stove.
The spacious entrance hall leads to a cloakroom and a utility room with sink, washing machine and tumble drier. Also leading from the hall is a bedroom with twin beds, a second TV, desk and work area (wifi is provided) and its own designer bathroom with bath and shower.
Downstairs a hallway leads to two more large bedrooms. The bedding is all high quality and super comfortable. The first bedroom has a capacious bed that can be configured either as a super king size (180cm wide) or two singles. The large windows look down onto the beautiful North Cornish seascape. This bedroom has its own stunning shower room: Villeroy & Boch and Hansgrohe bathroom ware is used in all three bath and shower rooms and cloakroom.
The second downstairs bedroom has another very comfortable super king size bed which also looks out from large windows to the bay below and Cape Cornwall on the horizon. Again, it has its own stylish shower room.
Outside, traditional granite stone walls and bushes encircle the property, giving privacy to enjoy the garden and seating areas. Granite landscaping and native flowers and plants create a natural, welcoming scene. There is a warm outdoor shower for surfers and swimmers returning from the beach, and chairs and tables to eat al fresco.
Please note: the owner of this property has another Cornish property in Sennen Cove on HomeAway (Esther's Field, Listing 413733) with 85 X 5* reviews.

We enjoyed staying at this property so much last year we returned again. Love the house, love the area.

A wonderful house to easily explore Wild West Cornwall; instant access to the coast path for great walk to Land’s End and down to fab beach at Sennen Cove. Only 10-15 mins from larger supermarkets in Penzance. Recommend the pizza van in SC and Fisherman’s Arms in Newlyn.

Had a lovely relaxing week down in Sennen, house was absolutely lovely with all new and modern appliances, plus hot shower and comfortable beds. Loved gazing out of the main living room window overlooking the beach below. Managed to get two cars parked on the hard standing too which was great! Walk back up the hill from Sennen Cove was under 7 mins, as was the trip to the Spar shop in the opposite direction. Fish & Chips were best from the Cove rather the one next to the Spar shop (which being newly opened suspect will get better in time). Loved the wine fridge in the kitchen too :-)

Loved Polgweder, a beautiful house in the perfect location with amazing views. The house had everything you could possibly need and is beautifully styled with a light airy feel yet cosy in the evening with clever lighting. Sennen is a perfect fishing village with great pubs, local shops and cafes. The beach is beautiful and the surf is spectacular. Love it here.

Polgweder exceeded our expectation! It is tastefully decorated, well equipped, in a great location with amazing views of Sennen Cove. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to revisit in the future.

What a find! Such a wonderful property, with fantastic sea views. The property is very equipped with everything you will need. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend.

We return to sennen cove over and over and this was one of the best locations we have stayed in for easy walking access to the shops, the beach and especially the cliff paths. The views from lounge and outdoor terrace are just lovely and you can hear the distant movement of the sea to lull you to sleep. Bedrooms are lovely and all en suite. Kitchen well equipped. Communal space maybe slightly confined for 4 adults doing different things so I can imagine with 6 you might slightly get on top of each other but that and a number of cobwebs were only faults I would think worth commenting on. We would return for sure.

The property was first class, excellently maintained, and bathrooms galore!.
Well equipped kitchen, and fabulous uninterrupted views out to the Atlantic, great place to chill.
Beds were perfect, all had great nights of sleep.
Good outside space to sit out and watch the waves and relax with a cool drink.
Great WI-FI for the odd Teams Call, if like me you need to keep in touch with the outside world!.
10 minute walk up to the First and Last pub, and Spa shop, if more provisions required.
8 minute walk down to the sea, shop and Old Success inn.
Beach 15 minutes walk, so in a bit shell all works for a great relaxing week away.
Communication was excellent
Thank you, we all had a great time .

The property is in a wonderful location and had everything we needed for an extremely comfortable and warm stay in November.
Views are wonderful and decor and appliances are of a high standard.
**** worth knowing is that the garden isn’t secure. Our spaniel took off to check out the other fury visitors in the lane but loved the house so much he returned in a few minutes ! 😁***
We only had one question prior to our arrival and this was answered extremely promptly by the host Jules. A BIG thank you.
I have no hesitation what ever in recommending this property.

We didn't want to leave. The location and view is incredible and the property is a joy to be in. The most well stocked, high end self catering accommodation and it was perfect for three generations and our dog to all be together and enjoy. Usually we eat out all the time but we loved the feel of the place so much and the kitchen was so lovely that we cooked a lot and sat back and enjoyed the amazing view. Jules was exceptionally accommodating and really helped us out with a few things which were outside of the scope of our stay. We will definitely return. What a find! And thanks Jules for everything!

Great property close to everything. Incredible view of bay, walk to pubs, local store and the best fish and chips. Straight out onto the coastal path and walks to lands end.
The property was clean and comfortable, open palm layout made the most of the view.
Will be back!

This is a stunning property with the most amazing views. Jules was very really helpful before our stay ensuring we had all the information we needed for a great stay. The property is immaculate, extremely well set up and great for exploring this coastline. If you don't want to travel far you can just sit and watch the beach from the arm chairs - it's breath taking and an image that will stay with me for all time. The kitchen is really great if you want to cook at home, the local pub - The Old Success is well worth a visit and so is the beach cafe for morning coffee and a bacon roll. The walk up and down to the sea front is steep but is so worth it when you see the views from Polgweder! The exercise also allowed for a cream tea or two! Amazing property in an amazing place - what a combination. We hope to return soon :-)

Our stay at Polgweder was amazing….the house was spotlessly clean and well equipped when we arrived so a big thank you to the change over team. It was everything it said in the description and more. Jules was very prompt replying to emails and the check in process was very easy. A short stroll down to the beach and local amenities and a scenic path to Lands End the house sits in a great position…we had a wonderful stay…very much hope to return some day

Amazing house in Sennen with beautiful sea views
We have had a wonderful week staying at Polgweder, Sennan. The house was amazing. We enjoyed just sitting admiring the view, watching the waves and the surfers! Plenty to see and do - walk along the beach, walk to Landsend. Visit to Penzance, St Ives and Cape Cornwall.
The only downside was we had to come home!

Light, spacious...and what a view!
Having taken annual holidays in Sennen for over 40 years, Polgweder is now our first choice in terms of accommodation.
It has a modern and light interior and yet the exterior (use of granite and wood) sits beautifully against the backdrop of Esthers Field.
We love it and so will you!

Lovely costal home
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed a week stay here. The contemporary house is (with lovely with living space upstairs and bedrooms downstairs). It is well appointed with all the facilities you need. Decor is contemporary, and the feel of the house light and airy. The walk down the costal path to the beach cove is a little bit of a trek especially if carrying SUPs. But worth it! The views from the house are amazing! The bedrooms are a good size and the ensuite bathrooms lovely (although very small). There was a thoughtful welcome package waiting for us on arrival. A good place to base yourself for day trips out to amazing local beaches and coastal walks. There is parking for two small or one large car. The outside shower is perfect to hose down dogs and wet suits! No much in the way of local amenities (only a few local shops) so we stocked up on our way there. There are toilets and a cafe on the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between 10am and 6pm. All in all an excellent place to stay.

Both me and my family enjoyed our stay at Polgweder. The property has been built to optimise the fantastic views of the stunning Sennen Cove!
We had a very nice welcoming pack from the owner when we arrived. The personal touch was appreciated after our journey down. The open plan kitchen was very well equipped to cater for any meals you choose to cook there. A large dining table, comfortable sofa and well placed seating overlooking the coast. Even though we weren’t glued to the tec we brought down, a couple of USB points would have been an asset. The shower rooms were excellent with ample hot water that you can set at a constant temperature. The beds and bedding were immaculate but the curtains need attention, probably need renewing.
The outside space is enclosed and safe for children and in our case, a dog. The hose outside would have been very useful for our canine friend but the hose attachment stopped any use of it as it needs replacing.
In summary, the litmus test is, would we return to this property? The answer is certainly yes and I would suggest that if you decide to book, you won’t be disappointed!

Just lovely
Polgweder is an amazing property in a great location. The weather wasn’t kind, including gale force winds and driving rain one night, but we felt cocooned and cosy after a hilly walk with the log burner and cosy underfloor heating! Loved the open plan layout in the living space and the upside down design made the most of those spectacular sea views (once the sea fog had disappeared :). Even better if there was a blind on the kitchen door, as we did get some stares in from passers by but all in all it was just the tonic and we absolutely loved staying here. Thanks Jules for being such a thoughtful host too! The flowers and shortbread were a lovely touch. Full marks Polgweder!
