About this house rental

The Potter Cottage is a 1600 square foot home that was completely renovated in 2019 and sits on 4.6 acres. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a tile shower are just a few of the amazing features of this home! A 50 inch television in the family room and three additional 40 inch television in the all three bedrooms add to the amenities. The home has three bedrooms, two full baths and an additional shower in the basement, the basement also has a game area and queen murphy bed to accommodate the entire family! A tankless water heater adds to the amenities (never run out of hot water)! It offers beautiful views overlooking the lake. Enjoy fishing and the beautiful views! The home has two decks to enjoy the rustic feel of this property.
Serene sunsets can be viewed from the decks. The large shade trees are perfect for picnics. The home is suitable for single families or groups. A two car garage is included in rental.

After a day at Holiday World, hiking, antiquing, or sightseeing The Potter Cottage is a peaceful place to relax. Children and adults alike will enjoy. A stay at the property will be a memory no one will soon forget.

This is our 3rd stay and we are never disappointed. Always clean, plenty of space for everyone, relaxing view, and close to Holiday World. This year we had a 3yr old to a 74yr old. Everyone enjoyed the property. Very nice to be so close to Holiday World and know we have somewhere to go back to to relax at end of long day. We will be back!

We stayed at this wonderful cottage last year and decided we had to do it again this year. It is very clean and has plenty of space for all of us. We love that it is so close to Holiday World. It will definitely be a cottage that we use again when we come back to Holliday World. Thank you so much for taking such great care of this lovely cottage!

The Potter Cottage was the perfect place to stay. We spent two days at Holiday World/Splashin Safari and were so relieved to have such a comfy place to go to at the end of a busy day. It was so clean and well maintained inside and outside. We look forward to going back in the future.

My family and I have been meeting up at Holiday World for the last 12 years. We bring the kids (& friends) and make a mini vaca out of our time together. We’ve done hotels, Lake Rudolph Cabins, fifth wheels and other local options. Out of the 12 years, Potters Cottage rates the highest. We booked mostly based on location (5-10 minutes from everything). The bonus was the reasonable price. Once we arrived, we realized we had found a gem!!! Beyond the ideal location, the cottage was nicely decorated, extremely clean, had a great floor plan, and tons of yard and basement space for the teenage boys to BE BOYS! We had a couple of questions during our stay and the owners were quick to respond. My brother has already stolen the property from me for next year’s gathering because our rental was better than his and he’s been bringing his family here for 30 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

A beatiful property less than 5 minutes from Holiday World. The house is clean and well stocked. Every time I go to Holiday World in a group setting I am staying here. And the owners were very accommodating and friendly.

The family always spends Christmas at my house for Christmas, I wanted to try something different for a change, This home was as advertised, Clean, and plenty of room for everyone, i wanted to make some memories for my family especially my grandchildren, we all had such a great time! We just left the Potter Cottage and had a perfect weekend for our annual family Christmas trip. The house was amazing, one of the cleanest we’ve been in, and had everything we needed! We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, and just relaxing and spending time with family which was exactly what we intended to do! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This place is wonderful! It was very clean, had a great layout, had a covered porch, as well as an open porch, large pond, even a garage you could park in, and even tetherball, which brought back such great childhood memories! Sitting on the back deck, having a glass of wine and looking out at the picturesque surroundings was perfect after a long day! I would definitely give this a 5+ star review.!

5 stars however a few comments from someone to stays at a lot of vrbos. One issue is the shower pressure in the main floor bathroom is subpar, perhaps it needs to be looked at. Also I don’t think it’s fair to list this as 4 bedrooms. We had our 3 adult children with their families use the 3 bedrooms and my husband and I stayed on the Murphy bed in the basement which is not a bedroom. Extremely noisy down there from a/c, anytime water is run, and just noise from above. Also lights are either on or off down there would be nice to have some nightstands to set glasses, phones and a small lamp on. Nothing to set anything on, also pull out couch is broken. With that being said everything else was wonderful. Beautiful yard with a tether ball! Plenty of seating indoors. Kitchen has everything you need. BBQ was great for dinners. Very clean. Will consider staying for our next visit!

We had a family get together with our three grown childen, their spouses and our grandkids. The house was perfect for our group. Lots of space to hang out together, ample seating for meals. The house was spotless and the kitchen well stocked. Loved the outside property. It's so pretty and calm there. When we return to this area, we really want to stay at this house again!

This was our second stay at Potter Cottage. It's a great, spacious place to come back to after Holiday World. It's very close to Holiday World, just a quick drive right to the Legend Lot. My teenage nephews enjoyed tether ball, fishing, and ping pong. My 2 year old loved seeing all the turtles in the pond. The house is a clean, inviting space to relax. We will be back!

This house is very clean and has everything you need. We had a few mishaps due to an unexpected bad storm but the owner was responsive quickly to my messages and got the issues resolved. We will definitely plan to return to this vrbo in the future years to come. We had 11 people total staying; (6 kids and 5 adults). The property that the house is on is beautiful and located 5 minutes from Holiday World. Definitely recommend this property. Thanks for a great first vrbo experience.

We loved this property, lots of things to do with our family. Ping pong table for everyone to play! Lots of assortment of games provided including bags, frisbee, bat & ball, and football. The pond was a great resource for fishing and watching turtles! The owner even provided fishing 🎣 equipment! Very roomy and the entire family had plenty of room and space! This rental is a gem!
