A quaint inn that feels like an art gallery or museum. When you enter the entrance, the space feels like a scene from a movie! Lots of paintings, vintage furniture, and decorations by owners Elio and Gabriella! Conveniently located near subway stations, shops and supermarkets. Gabriella is kind-hearted and elegant. Although we didn't eat, her breakfast table she made was lovely. Unforgettable accommodation in Naples.
To get from the room to the private bathroom you have to climb a small spiral staircase. It was a little squeamish and scary, so it was difficult to go to the washroom or toilet every time.
You can't expect a view from the balcony. Look down the ordinary road. The area with a nice view is the area of the owner and his wife. Rather than looking outside, we recommend looking at the paintings and decorations inside the inn.

Tutto perfetto. Solo una piccola scomodità rappresentata dal bagno su soppalco con scala molto piccola; tuttavia il bagno era completo e pulito.

Just the best - you have to stay there! It’s central- the family run business is amazing and so worse it. We would not stay anywhere else!

Donna Regina is an original and slightly out of the ordinary B&B. So long as you’re not expecting a 4* Hotel experience then Donna Regina is well worth a visit. Being on the 4th floor of the building does help with the typical city centre street noise so we weren’t too disturbed. We took the breakfast which was fresh and plentiful.
Nice location for visiting the old city and less than 5 minutes away from the Metro station and approximately 15 min walk to the main train station.

We loved staying here for our trip to Napoli. The B&B is really charming with art and books everywhere, and the room itself was cosy, stylish, clean and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the busy street below. Ram was helpful and friendly, providing us with a map highlighting local sights and restaurants. The B&B is right in the centro storico area of Naples, a perfect base for exploring the city. We had a wonderful breakfast prepared for us in a beautiful homely kitchen (EU10 per person) and enjoyed eating with our fellow travellers around a big communal table. Wouldn't hesitate to come stay again!
Very minor point but we would have appreciated some basic instructions on how to access the B&B. There is no obvious signage outside on the street, just a very small sticker next to the 4th floor buzzer for the building. When you get to the 4th floor, where the B&B is located, the sign on that door is differently worded to the sticker downstairs (it didn't say 'Donna Regina') so we weren't totally sure we were in the right place. As soon as we were let inside and warmly greeted however, we knew!

One of the most atmospheric and gorgeous places we've ever stayed. The apartment is huge and high ceilinged and takes up what feels like the whole floor of the old convent building. The owner has restored it lovingly with antiques and a combination of modern and classical art. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated with antique furniture and a blissfully comfortable bed. There was a kettle and a fridge just outside the room.
The owner gave us a map and some really helpful suggestions and recommendations for restaurants. His recommendations were spot on (definitely Lombardi's for pizza!).
The apartment is on the fourth floor but there's a small lift which made it much easier to get the bags up.
The position is good - 5 minutes' walk from the centre of the Centro Storico and 5 minutes in the other direction to the metro. It's tucked down a quiet sidestreet so was much quieter than the other places that we have stayed in Naples.
The lift might not be great if you get claustrophobic. But other than that, nothing to improve!

Best place and lovely owners. The mother made the best breakfast for us and it was impossible not to feel at home.
Such a beautiful place.

I received a very warm welcome from the owner who was really helpful in suggesting places to see and to eat in the area. At all times, staff were polite and eager to provide an excellent standard of service. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The accommodation itself is unique: gorgeous antiques, glorious high ceilings and a beautiful communal kitchen area. I extended my stay from three to five days and was disappointed that I could not stay longer.
