Spotless apartment, pictures don’t do it justice

Loved the character of the property and also the modern touches! Beautiful decor and spotlessly clean!

We loved it all just wish we could move the property to a more country location and add a swimming pool but this perfectly suited what we needed for this trip so was perfect

An excellent apartment in the Heart of Bergerac with all the facilities you would likely need.

The location is superb - in the Heart of Bergerac and is also close to the River/Quay. The facilities were very good - everything you would need for a stay was provided for. There are lots of restaurants and shops close by - therefore for a weeks stay - you probably don't need to hire a car. They key question for us would be - would we stay again and the answer is probably yes.

The Second bedroom Mattress was very uncomfortable and too hard - probably needs changing. The hot tub, whilst a nice feature - occupies too much outside space and maybe a simple outdoor space with table and chairs would be preferable for some people. However, these are minor things and are possibly subjective depending on the person hiring the apartment.

The location was excellent, with garage parking. The gites was very well appointed and comfortable.

Nice apartment but few issues

very convenient right in the old town of Bergerac, Nespresso coffee machine, clean, nice decor, lots of quality glasses, plates etc, nice shower, large bathroom twin sinks. nice fluffy white towels, very well maintained. comfy king size bed in larger room. parking in secure garage.. The owner did try and help us over the phone with directions but language barrier. and she was happy for us to leave the car in the garage for extra couple of hours when we checked out.

very difficult to find especially as there were road works right next to the apartment so all the roads were closed which made it very stressful, the garage was also tricky to find, should be explained better before hand. jacuzzi was over loaded with horrible chemicals, literally we couldn’t breathe so had to get out, the space is very tight in the courtyard and would be more suited as sit out space not cram a hot tub in, with fish pond underneath which was strange, hope the fish don’t suffer the chemicals. Also it wasn’t very clean, scum on top which was very off putting. The apartment smelt of damp quite bad, as it’s all exposed stone so suppose to be expected but wasn’t nice, also attracted lots of flies and mosquitos because of the water and plants, ( outside in courtyard) and the bed sheets felt damp the first night. was quite dark again probably because of all the stone. ( the bed was comfy but felt damp)

Great location

Location was perfect, very central. The apartment was beautiful with lovely extra touches such as guide books and toiletries. Great communication from the host throughout, and we were allowed to stay until noon.

The hot tub was the only thing that let it down. It needed a clean before we got in, and still, there was some scum on the top. Nothing that can't be solved, and we reported it to the owner

Great stay, fantastic location and beautiful property!

The decor, location and parking were just perfect. It has been really tastefully kitted out, so much thought has gone into every single room. The location couldn’t have been better and the parking was an added bonus with being secure and so close to the property. Without a doubt, I would recommend the apartment and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I lived in France for a long time with my family and I can easily say that this is the most beautiful apartment I have stayed in to date. Photos don’t do the location or apartment size justice, it is so spacious. Being able to just walk into the town to eat, drink and explore was a huge bonus. To add to this great review, the host was super helpful and responsive to messages. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Only tiny, but the jacuzzi wasn’t turned on when we wished to use it, however the host turned up ASAP to rectify this and we were really grateful. This did not affect our trip at all.

Truly exceptional historic-centre property: beautifully, comfortably and generously equipped.

What a fabulous apartment! The pictures don't do justice to the size of the apartment, the quality of the fittings, the generosity of the goods supplied (eg herbs of all types, cooking oils, drinks, toiletries), the lovely ambiance and the amazing location. The host supplied detailed instructions on reaching and entering the apartment and finding the locked parking garage, which were timely and excellent. The comfort and welcome were absolutely second to none.

There was nothing I disliked. It was one of the best stays we have ever had from booking.com and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Exceptional

Loved the apartment it was beautiful. Everything you could need was there. Loved the hot tub too. The location was great everything nearby. It was so easy getting in to the apartment too with a key box and Laure gave us the number near the time of our stay.

Could have done with a light outside the apartment as it was quite dark. Pity there wasn't a washing machine but there was a launderette nearby.

A stunning apartment in the heart of the beautiful vibrant Old Town of Bergerac.

An absolutely stunning apartment which is situated in the Old Town area of Bergerac. It is well appointed and is in a quiet location despite bars, cafes and restaurants being nearby in the vibrant Old Town centre. Everything is within easy walking distance and once we arrived the car was left parked in a secure car park about 100 yds away until we left. There is modern air conditioning in the living area and bedrooms which was very welcome as it was very hot during our stay. We did not meet our host Laure but she was easily contactable by telephone to sort out any problems we may have had. We did not have any. A most enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

There was nothing to dislike but If I had to say anything it would be to advise providing another easy chair in the living area. There were four of us and a small sofa plus one easy chair left is having to use a chair from the dining area. A very very minor point that did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

The perfect apartment! Ticks every box !! A lot of thought has gone into it and you can feel it!

Loved the entire apartment. It was creative, spacious and modern within amazing brick and stone walls and arches! The kitchen was well equipped and it was fantastic to have the little courtyard with a fish pond and hot tub to relax in plus a bbq ! The host responded quickly to any questions and was very accommodating. You can walk out of the door and straight into the historic, beautiful old town of Bergerac.

There was nothing we didn’t like - it encompassed everything we wanted and needed.

If you like trendy, stylish accommodation in the heart of the best part of Bergerac then this will not disappoint

every bit as good as it looks on the photos. Absolutely beautiful apartment. Tastefully furnished with everything you need. Everything seemed to be brand new. Perfect location too for Bergerac old town. Private underground car park about 30 metres away which is accessed by the remote key at the property.

Only small inconvenience was having the toilet on it’s own without any hand washing facilities. we had to use the sinks in the shower room. Very minor point though.

A beautiful apartment, perfect for couples or groups of friends

The place is beautiful, all old brick and archways, but the bathroom and kitchen is modern with everything you need! Also the terrace is lovely, with a pond and hot tub. Lovely to spend the evening relaxing out there! Really central to the old town and lots of restaurants.

The terrace isn’t particularly suitable for children, we didn’t let our toddler go outside and only used the terrace when he was asleep. It wasn’t a problem, just something to be aware of (which we knew when we booked!)

Superb

Excellent apartment in every way. Designer finishes throughout. Fabulous location in the old town.

The parking is very close and convenient but very hard to find. The map supplied by the host was so old and damaged as to be almost unreadable. This caused us considerable stress when we arrived as the location is in an area of old winding streets with no street parking. It all worked out in the end but the stress could have been relieved with clearer instructions.

Little paradise in the heart of Bergerac

Everything: the location, the cleanliness, the stylish furnishing inside the old stone walls of the house, the friendly host, who is always available, the well equipped kitchen including a wide range of spices and herbs. The air-conditioning works perfectly in every room and the covered and enclosed car park a few steps from the apartment is a perfect extra. The next boulangerie is just a minute to go and the covered market is in just 5 minutes walking distance. And the large gas barbecue which works very well - not to forget the jacuzzi in the small back garden. It is amazing how much you can get out of such a small place behind the house, whose exit takes you right onto a beautiful square. The apartment itself offers a lot of space and is a heaven of peace in the middle of town.

To make it even more comfortable the pillows could have an upgrade, but this is nothing to diminish the overall perfect experience we had.

A fabulous find!

Lovely little apartment in the centre of town. Lots of character and well equipped for our stay. Secure parking was also available. An outside spa was a bonus. Good communication with owner.

A home away in Bergerac

It’s central location. The apartment was done to a great standard and worked very well (and was comfortable) for 4 people. The bathroom was great and the kitchen well stocked. We also loved the jacuzzi and the fish! The private, off-street parking was also a great feature. There was a lovely little bakery up the road, just a minute away and it was less than 2-minutes to the river, which was perfect for early morning walks/runs.
