The staff were very attentive, but unfortunately the food and facilities were poor. No Continental food, the location of the hotel means it’s very isolated after 7pm. The pool is terrible and only one sunbed which is in the shade. This area is also open to th ed kitchen which isn’t ideal if your trying to relax
We had a lovely large room on the front, unfortunately early morning it’s rammed with photo shoots outside this hotel so the noise is terrible. The over head shower didn’t work, all blocked up and rusty..

Food was excellent too. We arrived late (9pm) and they still made dinner. The staff were all great and couldn’t do enough for you. The room (gallery 2) was a great size although now seeing the other room, gallery 1 is the best. Location is great too
Wi-Fi could be improved. Quite weak and had to switch WiFi’s to get an improved reception

Renjith and team were amazing during our entire stay, as they would go above and beyond to ensure every single need is taken care of, and they would never say no :) They were all extremely nice and helpful, especially in taking care of my mother-in-law's needs since she is wheelchair-bound. We would definitely return to the Postcard in Kochi again!
The food is excellent however we felt that the menu was limited and could be more extensive, especially if we have been having the same meals over the 4 days of our stay.

location in the middle if busy street

The service stood out. It was excellent.

Wonderful restoration of an important heritage building retaining the authenticity whilst incorporating all the modern comforts
location excellent for the local attractions of an area steeped in history
the restaurant should be air conditioned as it may make the menu somewhat more tempting as chef was very good

Very friendly team, beautiful historical building with a modern and arty touch in its renovation, great and spacious room (thanks for the upgrade George) and location in the heart of the jewish quarter.
Nothing really - but the pool area seems to be under renovation (?) and the choice of restaurants in the area is more limited than in fort Kochi which is 30 to 40 min away by walk
Last info, the hotel is in a pedestrian street.

Room was great. Manager was extremely eager and helpful.
Staff could not understand much. Breakfast was pathetic.

Service : 10/10 The staff at the Mandalay Hall is class apart. They were always keen to help us and with a smile. The manager of the property Mr.George Antony took all the care of the check-in formalities with a minimum fuss. The rest of the staff including Vishnu and Sumit were extremely helpful and courteous.
Room, property : 10/10 This entire property is a piece of art, curated by the director of muziris binnale himself it shows what art can do to spaces. Every corner is a masterpiece in itself and a wonder to behold. The stand in tub in the room is a luxury in itself.
Food : 10/10 The breakfast was exceptional and so were other items from the kitchen.
Overall an extremely satisfying, a heartful thanks to their team for giving us such an experience.

George and his team made our stay pretty much perfect, from check-in onwards. The hotel is located on a quiet street without vehicular access. We were met by George and other staff who took care of our baggage and escorted us on the very short walk to the hotel. We were in Gallery 1, a large and very spacious room on the first floor. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the room was vast, with interesting artwork which is a signature of the hotel. We arrived late but the kitchen stayed open to give us dinner. The food was delicious. We opted for western style breakfast on one morning and Keralan breakfast on the second. The staff could not have been more solicitous or interested. This is not a five star glitzy hotel where all the rooms are the same. If that's what you want, there are plenty of other options. But if you are looking for a small, friendly hotel in a great area for exploring Fort Kochi, with kind and caring service, I don't think you can do better.

the postcard is an immaculate paradise in mattancherry. from the moment we arrived (seated and promptly offered a cool tropical drink) to the moment we left (staff helped us carry our luggage to the main road) we felt welcomed, celebrated, and treated like family. the intimate space was beautiful and well-maintained and even had a family of incredibly sweet cats that lived on the property. one of the best experiences one can have in this lifetime is waking up to the sight of two kittens :) the staff are amazing, with an extensive knowledge about the city and willing to help with anything. in particular, our friend vishnu went above and beyond to ensure that we would have the best vacation (we did). thank you postcard mandalay - we will be back!
none :)

The Staff was extremely caring and were great hosts. It was my wife's birthday and they went an extra mile to make it comfortables.
The ceiling had an incident in the middle of the night which startled us.

Breakfast was excellent. Many choices and even requests were catered for. Exceptional service from all. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and providing all requested information. The little touches were greatly appreciated too. I will definitely be back to this hotel and other 'The Postcard' hotels for sure.

The Postcard Mandalay Hall is a beautifully designed boutique property in the heart of old town tucked away in a beautiful lane. Every small detail is carefully thought out. The hotel manager George and his team made sure our stay was as comfortable as could be, and they really took such good care of us. We had a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a luxurious and peaceful stay.

Authentic Kerala cuisine, custom made to meet my requests. Situated in the quaint locality called Jew Town, erstwhile Jewish community settlement. The property itself is an converted synagogue by the renowned architect Toni Joseph.
I had an outstanding experince. There's nothing I would like to alter. Beautiful design with an old world charm, and brilliant team of staff.

The staff make you feel at home, they were super courteous and took care of every small detail. They cater perfectly to your needs.
The room, like the hotel, was artistically designed, it was spacious and comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The location is in the heart of Jew Town, a centre of creative energy and local artists with access to local transport (auto’s, Uber, Olacabs).
We would like to thank Dinuj and Colin especially for their outstanding hospitality. We would love to visit again.
