We were in town for parents weekend at App State and wanted something different. This turned out to be the perfect spot. It was close enough that we could run down for activities, but far enough away that we didn’t have the crowds and noise that is usually associated with game day. Every thing worked perfectly and we had a great weekend, looking forward to staying here again!

Nicely decorated, comfortable place with easy access to Grandfather Mountain. We enjoyed our visit and plan on returning! Everything was well stocked and perfect for our weekend trip.

We loved the condo, it looks exactly like the pictures only better. Katrina is an amazing host. She texted us to make sure we were able to check in & gave us a few tips for nearby grocery & restaurants. The condo had lovely decor & lots of personal touches. Anything you might need and more. My boyfriend & I were there for a concert series at Beech Mountain Resort and some hiking at Grandfather Mountain State Park. It was an amazing weekend, would definitely come back, and stay at Katrina’s condo. Thank you for a great stay!

We rented Katrina’s place for our 9 year anniversary and it was perfect. Not only was it spotlessly clean but she provided all the things we needed and more. Any small items you normally need to run to the store for were available. She even got us a very cute anniversary card, flowers and a great bottle of wine. Snacks, coffee, tea, and more were provided as well. The bed was very comfortable along with the linens and towels. We had a great time relaxing on the back porch which was super cute! We really enjoyed the space and found it to be perfect for our stay. Banner Elk has lots to offer as well. We did a wilderness adventure ropes course which was next to the alpine coaster, ate many meals in downtown Banner Elk— loved Banner Elk Tavern, stonewalls, Sorrentos bistro and Bella’s breakfast and lunch. Also we hiked on grandfather mountain and went to grandfather mountain winery. It was such an enjoyable weekend and we highly recommend Katrina’s place!!

The Condo was absolutely adorable and met all our needs. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the accommodations. The size was prefect for myself and my two daughters. It was central to everything and exactly what I hoped for in my stay. The hostess was extremely nice and responded quickly with any question I had. My rating is a 10 out of 10 and I plan to return!!

Chalet was immaculate and perfectly appointed for a cozy mountain getaway for 2! Location was great and an easy drive to get to the surrounding towns. We celebrated my wife’s bday who was very surprised to walk in and see a banner and balloons that our host, Katrina had in place along with a bottle of wine. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast or warm up leftovers. There was a great tray of snacks too, along with coffee and tea bags. The living room downstairs was perfect for watching a movie and the bed was very comfortable with ample pillows and a selection of blankets. We look forward to returning again soon!

This was such a charming little cabin in a perfect location for mountain fun. My husband, 3 year old daughter, and I stayed here for a weekend refresh getaway and the home was so warm and clean. The small touches of board games, outdoor fire table, Valentine's Day goodies, and adorable decor made us feel cozy and truly welcomed. It was so easy to stay in touch with the owner. She was delightful. We will definitely be staying again!

My husband and I vacationed in Banner Elk for a long weekend getaway. The host was great and provided us with recommendations of places to eat and visit while we were staying in Banner Elk. The place was beautiful and the perfect size for two people. It was clean and organized with all the items we would need for our stay (e.g., towels, linens, kitchen appliances and tools, etc.). We particularly loved the privacy and the wood burning fireplace which further enhanced the ambiance. The location of the place is perfect for visiting Sugar Mountain (i.e., just across the street), and only a short drive to downtown Banner Elk.

This chalet is located right across the street from the Sugar Mountain main entrance. It is perfect for 2 - cute, cozy, clean and has everything you need (plus more) for a stay in Banner Elk.
We spent an extended weekend here because we were snowboarding at Sugar. The chalet is easy to access and located in a quite condo complex. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need (plates/bowls, glasses/cups, silverware, paper towels, foil, ziplock bags, tea, coffee/filters/creamers, snacks, sugar, refrigerated condiments, water filter pitcher, and a bunch more) and the appliances are new. Linens and towels were SUPER soft and comfy. I actually slept better on this bed than my own! It is warm (you will not freeze here!), friendly, inviting and also very clean.
Communication with the host/owner, Katrina was outstanding. She is quick to text back if you have any questions. Don't hesitate to book this place. We will definitely be back and rent this again.
Thanks so much!!!

Listing matched exactly what we were looking for! The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We didn’t have any issues at all during our stay. The unit was clean upon arrival and very cozy. It’s a stones throw from the Sugar Mtn entrance. There’s also plenty of good places to eat close by! We loved Banner Elk Cafe and Bella’s Italian. Cannot recommend this enough!
