Loved the staff, ambiance, food and local tourist attractions. Geibekei Gorge boat ride is not to be missed! We would come back here in a heartbeat! Oh and there were storks roosting that we could see from our porch!
Nothing was missing in our stay. Just perfect!

The café and the owner were very nice!
We didn’t know we had to reserve dinner and there aren’t many restaurants in the area, so it’s recommended to eat at the guesthouse.
We had breakfast though and it was great!

A group of Elementary school children was staying for the later half of my stay and were constantly very loud, while the walls are thin. Ot was ver hard to sleep past 6am, or relax during the day.

the location was nice right by the gorge and the facilities were beautiful
there's not much around and having a car would be really useful

For a little more money, we booked dinner and breakfast. Both were very tasty and well worth the money. The hosts are very kind and friendly.

This is the second time live in this hostel, it feels like living into a sweet Japanese house with friendly staffs. Last time was solo travel and this time travel with family, very clean and comfortable place. The breakfast will made your day.
The pillow too soft for me

Beautiful guest house! So much care and attention went into every aspect of this lovely place. The breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented! The room was comfortable and the staff were so kind. We really enjoyed our stay!
I dont like to mention this but since the guest house was full, it was very noisy late a night. Also music was played through the speakers outside the rooms from about 6.30am-9.30pm. Bring earplugs if you want a good sleep or a sleep in.

1. Breakfast is amazing. What looks like a simple toast, bursts into a flavourful of happiness the moment you take the first bite. You also get freshly brewed coffee and juices for breakfast.
2. Great location. It's walking distance from the train station and also the boat ride for the gorge. It's also the last house on the street so it's very quiet at night.
3. Very reasonably priced for a private room. A really comfortable bed and the comforter is perfect for the cold weather as well. The room comes with an aircond/heater and also a humidifier. Towels are provided as well.
4. Showers are shared but it's no problem at all as it's kept very clean and during my stay I did not have to wait to use it. The shower gel and shampoo smells awesome. There's also a bath on the first floor that you can use by placing the magnet with your room number next to an available time slot on the board.
5. Staff were really nice and polite. I was able to store my backpack after checking out.
6. Aesthetically pleasing place as well, especially the dining area overlooking the field.
None. It was perfect. I wish I could stay longer

I can't get over how great Cafe Guesthouse Kaziya is. The guesthouse itself is very pretty and clean. Our room was quite spacious and had a desk so it was easy for me to work. The surrounding area is really pretty. We went to the Geibikei Gorge and did an 80 minute boat tour which was a lot of fun. But the best part was the food at this cafe. Breakfast was always amazing. The last few days we also had dinner there and dinner was truly incredible. There aren't a lot of restaurants walking distance from the guesthouse so getting dinner here was really convenient.
It would have been nice if their booking.com offering also listed dinner as an option. When we got to the guesthouse we saw people eating dinner and asked if we could also get dinner and luckily they were able to fit us in. I am not sure if they always do dinner or not which might be why the dinner option doesn't appear on booking.com.

The staff is very nice and helpful, response very fast. I text them few times here let them know I need late check in as my train will arrive around 9:30pm, staff reply in the same day and wait for me, help me lift the heavy luggage to 1/F. The house is very nice and comfy, simple, clean, feel like home. The breakfast look very nice and tasty, it really made my day when I see the breakfast with big smile.

The nice was extremely nice! The rooms are very clean. There’s no a lot of food options around so I highly recommend going with the breakfast and dinner included plan.

I liked the location and just the overall atmosphere. I truly pleasant stay.
The Wi-Fi would disconnect randomly to the point where it was non existent.

Very cute and cozy guesthouse with friendly host family. Service with a smile. Casual + very rustic and artsy. Wonderful atmosphere. Easy to relax in the common area with our own drinks off hours. Excellent food. So healthy! Great location. East to walk from the train and to the gorge. Helpful staff. Great heating and lovely comforters.
We were four and it was really tight in the front room with futons. Hard to move about in the night if needed. But we managed ;)

The location was nice and the guest house was very cute and clean. The food we got was also great. The owner also gave us some nice recommendations for nearby bars and restaurants.

This guesthouse was amazing! The interior design of the guesthouse was very aesthetically pleasing and inviting. There was one bathroom, three toilets and two shower rooms which were spacious, clean and equipped with amenities such as fresh rugs, paper cups and shampoo and conditioner. The beds were very plush and comfortable. There were communal fridges available and a microwave. The room itself had air-conditioning and plenty of power sockets. The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal. We were served gazpacho, croque madam and an omelette.
The blanket was slightly too small for the bed and though there was a washer/dryer available (which was much appreciated), it was located in the bathroom and if someone was using the bathroom (to take a long bath for example) then it caused issues with accessing the washer/dryer.
