This home was clean, well stocked, beautiful. and in a great location. It was the perfect place for our family. One family member has accessibility issues, and she had no problem moving around inside. Wish we stayed longer!

The home is very spacious (especially the kitchen). There is a path to the beach that is rather steep in places, but the beach is a short walk. The neighborhood streets are a bit of a maze, but using your navigation app will get you there. It's also a short walk to the main street of Manzanita.

Our stay was excellent. Simple process for arrival and departure. Setting is spectacular. Close to all that Manzanita offers.

Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, clean, very private. Close to downtown and the beach with easy driveway access. Very nicely updated home and decor. Game room in the garage is fantastic for family fun, especially with the basketball game.

The house was just what we were looking for for our annual family trip to the Oregon coast! The house is fully stocked for a comfortable stay, they even had a highchair and several pack and plays. There’s a room on the first floor that’s perfect for some in a wheelchair or walker. Unfortunately the town of manzanita didn’t have much to offer but cannon beach, seaside and other smaller beach towns are close by!

Loved the layout for our family + grandparents. Kitchen has everything you need. Full spice cabinet. Great green space around the home. Beds are soft- if you like soft they’re great. Could use softer fitted sheets (felt the pilling). And pillow cases could use protectors on the for sanitation. Not able to walk to the beach but it is a short drive.
Overall we’d stay again at this location. Great price for the home.

Before you stop off at the Hillsboro Target to pick up baby stuff on your way like we did, here's what's there (as of June 2023): no fewer than 3 pack 'n' plays, a tension-set baby gate, a super old but functional high chair, night lights in each room/stairs. The house is also reasonably toddler-friendly - not a lot of sharp edges except the fireplace, pretty sturdy furniture, and the deck is enclosed (two locking gates). That's why we chose it over an ocean-view location; internal space is more important to us than external in this phase of our lives and it's a short drive to town/the beach. It's a super comfortable house, and the ground floor has a room with accessible bathroom, so it would be good for grandparents to join as well. It wasn't totally clean when we arrived, but other than that hiccup we enjoyed our stay.

This house worked very well for us. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the kitchen and the up to date cooking ware for food preparation. The living room is very comfortable with a large leather couch that has room for many. Most of the bedrooms have tvs. I see this as a plus, even though we didn’t actually use them, but we liked the fact that they were available. We also appreciated having 3 and 1/2 bathrooms.
The garage is made into a welcoming and well equipped play room for little folks. Even though our three grandchildren are older, they still spent some time out there shooting baskets.
We prefer to walk into town and down to the beach rather than driving the car. The steep road from the house certainly would be a negative for many, but we saw it as a challenge and part of our daily exercise.

With 5 adults, the 3.5 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms were welcomed! The place is nicely decorated, very clean, outdoor patio and a great place to come "home" to after a long day of hiking.

We loved our stay! Super-clean and attractive, spacious and open, safe and accommodating for children. Large private patio looks out on Douglas firs, half mile from Lareda St. All the neccesary amenities. Would definitely come back!

Well Stocked and CLEAN
The house had everything you need. Even a crock pot! Plenty of towels and bedding. It was incredibly clean and nicely decorated. Five stars for the home.
The beach access is not a simple walk. The roads are incredibly steep. We drove to the beach.

Great. Well-stocked home
This home had everything we needed in the kitchen and made it very easy to cook for ourselves and settle in. The walk to the beach was really not that far, despite no cut through. …less than a mile.

Family hangout
This home worked well for us and our adults kids and 2yo grandchild. Pack and plays, high chair on site, great space for kids. Beach a short drive away.

The house was very comfortable and clean.Well appointed even had the garage setup as a kids playroom which was cool.
Downsides
It’s def not a block from the beach unless you are a seagull def overselling that feature. It’s barely walkable
It’s more like a short car ride down the hill to the beach which was fine.
Also 4pm check in and 10 am checkout burning you at both ends. The cleaning people were sitting in front of the house by 9am left a bad taste in my mouth I get it quick turnaround but I just paid the mortgage in a 3 night stay give me a break

This house was perfect for two big families with rooms and beds and places to eat for everyone!
The kitchen was stocked with every item imaginable and very clean.
Two tiny downsides: The reviews are true that you cannot walk to the beach by foot at all - now that there seems to be a home under construction where it was previously accessible and the long way around is up a very steep road without a place to walk. It is a very short 4-5 minute drive so not a dealbreaker for us.
The grill would not light on it’s own but we found some matches and made it work at least on one side. We did not call during our stay to have it fixed but I’m sure they would’ve done it quickly.
We will absolutely stay again.

Great House
The house is relatively new, and it's in a great condition. It is very comfortable and well thought out. It can easily accommodate larger groups. Everything you might possibly need is provided - the kitchen in particular was very well equipped. It was very clean. We loved staying here. A bit of a hike to the beach, but it did not bother us. Very quiet. We loved having woods in the backyard.

Great for family and kids
Love everything about the house especially the games, full kitchen utensils, spices, baking bans, nice beds and bath. Vacasa provided quick support when garbage disposal wasn't working which is great so that it doesn't ruin your vacation. Only con would be the distance to beach and the nearest trial is hard for kids.

Well equipped
This was a very nice house that was stocked with everything needed to prepare family meals. There were also spices available which is always appreciated. The privacy was great but the beach access was a challenge. However we drove the short distance to Manzanita one day and to Oswald park the next and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this house!

Excellent home for a hiking group vacation!
Five older women had a superb time hiking near Manzanita then coming back to this wonderful home with enough beds for all. Everything was perfect from the incredible master with huge bathtub to the basketball game in the garage!

Beautiful, spacious home in a great location!
Five older women hiking the Oregon Coast Trail loved this place where we stayed for three nights while we completed the section from Cannon Beach to Manzanita. It had everything we could wish for including an amazing washer and drier. We loved the decor as well.

Very nice house
Perfect house for our stay in Manzanita. Well equipped, loved the extra games in the garage (basket ball shoot out game, corn hole and more).

Lovely, clean place super close to beach
We were a family of 8, four kids (ages 4-10) and four adults. Everyone loved the place. Highlights: wonderful assortment of toys and kites (beaches were very windy, kites flew by themselves), clean rooms and kitchen (you could tell the place is new), and very accessible beach (short 2-3 mi drive or 10min walk).

We had a 4 night stay in this home with our adult children and grandson. Perfect accommodations!
This home was clean and had lots of indoor and outdoor space to accommodate our toddler, 20 something, thirty something and fifty something aged guests. Walk to the beach was easy but not quite as described in book due to dune preservation efforts. We used the grill and cooked all of our meals at home even though Manzanita had lots to offer. We will come again each year I think!

Great Stay
Exceptionally well-equipped. Lots of bathrooms for a group. And televisions in each bedroom!
Nice deck out back and even a picnic table in a nice area of the front yard. Definitely would book again.

"PERFECT"
We had a group of 4 couples and this place was "PERFECT" for us. The house is beautiful inside and the beds, all very comfortable. The kitchen has pretty much everything you will need for a weekend stay. The owners have done a great job of making sure all essentials are there. We will likely be renting this house again the next time our favorite band, the Junebugs plays at the San Dune.

Amazing Stay!
Almand Glen was a terrific stay. It's a fairly new house, with all of the modern amenities you can wish for. The garage was amazing! Tons of games like arcade basketball and an N64 set up. Really close to the beach, and the trees are really great as they shield from the famous Manzanita winds. Everything was clean and new. The deck was an awesome bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous, comfortable, and well equipped!
The house was absolutely gorgeous and really comfortable, and had everything our group needed including really comfortable beds and a large cozy living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed, even a crock pot, to cook every meal for ten adults! We were all in our 30's (no children) but were still ecstatic over the basketball game in the garage... A delightful surprise! The house is in the perfect location - there was an easy walk to the beach, a good stroll into town, and the house is tucked back into the trees for beautiful views and privacy! We were beyond thrilled with this house and so grateful that we got to enjoy the weekend there! Thank you!
