Kee lodge was a great place to stay. Sarah, the owner, was very friendly and the shuttles to the ski hills were a short walk away (about 5 mins). I was travelling alone but met a number of other friendly skiiers and had a great time. Breakfast was provided each morning and was tasty.

Good lodge style breakfast, free parking, nice lodge common room, communal lodge activites. The host Sarah was very friendly and helpful, a great personality :) The feeling of the lodge was like coming home to a relative who had friends over, there's people coming and going and your welcome to join in the activities.
The hot water for showers had to be turned on by the staff, so you could not shower whenever you wanted.

The breakfast service was amazing. And our host made us feel welcome and at home. The lodge is the perfect place to end the day with drinks by the fire in the common area. A great place to stay in Hakuba.

incredibly clean
The dorm set ups were the best I’ve ever had in a hostel with plenty of space for storage, and also a bit of privacy which you don’t normally get
Sarah the host was very easy to talk to and provided a lot of insight on what was happening around Hakuba

A very homely environment. Great location to all of the bars and the rental shops nearby. Also very close to the shuttle bus to take you to the resorts. Sarah, the owner, took us to onsens after riding and also put on great meals for us. 10/10 would recommend.
Nothing.

The breakfast was healthy and delicious and they even accommodated our dietary restrictions. The location is great for getting all around the Hakuba. The host was welcoming and helpful.
It was pretty chilly in the lodge at the beginning of our stay, but when we brought it to the attention of the host, they fixed the situation.

Sarah, the owner of the lodge was very nice and helpful! A nice American style brekky was provided every morning and when there were only a few of us in the lodge at night she would offer dinner. She is such a friendly lady and so are her staff! She made it feel like we were in our home away from home. We will definitely be back!

Hospitality, communication, location, and value are all good. Host is very helpful and knowledgeable. My first choice when I come to hakuba.
It's a big building, so air can be cold sometimes. Wear a sweater.

A very homely, cosy lodge with loads of character and charm. Sarah, the host, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and obviously puts a great deal of pride into running Kee. The dorm beds were comfy and had plenty of space for luggage and storage, and the breakfast was generous. All in all it had a very close and communal feel, and was perfect location for skiing in all parts of Hakuba via the handy shuttle buses.
There’s little to fault, however I could see that when the lodge was full there perhaps could do with more than one shower. Also, it was perhaps quieter and had less people staying than I had imagined, however maybe cos I was there at the end of the season.
