About this cabin rental
Sit on the porch and listen to the sound of the creek as the wind whispers thru the trees. Nothing fancy, a little rustic, but everything you need at an affordable price. Hot tub on back deck and campfire pit in back yard. 5 miles from Cherokee and the casino, conveniently located near area attractions including Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Harrah's Casino, Cherokee museums and shopping, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River, tubing on Deep Creek. Just 30 minutes to Maggie Valley, 45 minutes to Gatlinburg and an hour to Asheville, the Biltmore Estate and other area attractions. No mini-vans or motorcycles. The cabin was located perfectly in the mountains, the hot tub a nice touch, only minutes from the casino. It did look like in the kitchen on the counter that a little mouse had visited.

Cabin was wonderful very clean and quiet. Only issue was the air conditioning. Only one room had AC would be better for a family if both rooms had an AC to keep both rooms cool for everyone to sleep comfortably

We loved having this nice, cozy cabin to come back to after our adventures in and around Cherokee! The hot tub and fire ring were the icing on the cake. It was everything we needed.

Beautiful place! Could use some instructions on how to use TV. (Never could figure out how to watch the tube) very comfortable beds and living space. Easy to get a round the inside the cabin for disabled renters, but could use a ramp on the outside for access to the deck for those that have a hard time using stairs (steps). Otherwise an amazing trip and place to stay.

Great location in the woods, peaceful you could relax outside and hear the stream below. Relax in the hot tub or just chill out in the cabin! Everything you need is available inside from fans, extra pillows, coffee maker, iron, blankets, towels, silverware, pots, pans and so on. Close to the Casino Indian Village and many more attractions.

Wonderful place to stay. Comfortable bed and close to everything Cherokee has to offer. We real enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the creek and sounds of nature. Will definitely book this place again in the future!

Overall we loved our quiet little relaxing stay. The hot tub was great, clean and location was peaceful. Listening to the creek flow was so relaxing.
The only downfall was no trash pick up, which is typically not a big deal, EXCEPT make note that NONE of the trash dumps are open on Sundays. :( so we had to drive 4hrs home with trash AFTER spending the entire day at a cheer competition. Pretty stinky. lol
Other then that minor detail that we were not aware of, we enjoyed our stay and we will be back. :)

Nothing planned, just some R and R. Location was great. Hot tub very inviting. The house is a bit older and could use some updates, but was perfect for a short weekend. Loved the rocks on the front porch.

Pretty accurate listing online. Very secluded, yet not far from town. Having a hot tub on the cool evening/morning was nice but be careful on the deck as it was very slippery (may need to be cleaned/pressure washed). Driveway is pretty steep but manageable. If cold, weather give it some time to warm up but will do so pretty quickly. Overall great stay and will definitely consider visiting again!

We really enjoyed our stay in October. The cabin was cute and the property was beautiful. We would suggest updating pics on VRBO to fall or springtime though. I enjoyed adding my own rock to the front porch. Nice touch btw. Thank you for having us. We would definitely stay again.

The location is perfect! Tucked away in the mountains gives a cozy feeling. Easy to get to Sylva and Cherokee. Great communication with Darion who was very helpful when I needed help with the heater.

It was very comfortable, however the Internet speed was terrible, death bolt doesn't lock, you can use a new shower curtain hooks (lol). Ceiling fan have too much dust. Overall, we enjoyed very much! Thank you!

We had an amazing 25th Anniversary weekend at the cabin! Everything was neat and clean (And I own a professional cleaning business) the bed sheets were AMAZING - I actually had to look them up to order me some for home! Darion actually called in to check on us at one point which I thought was very nice. The water in the kitchen had very low pressure and since that is something my husband does he took a look at it and fixed it quicly while we were there. We will definitely be back soon!

My husband and i enjoyed our short stay. The cabin was nice for the price. It has everything you need for a mountain getaway. Loved the hot tub and the privacy. Unique stone collection on porch from previous guests was interesting as well.

The cabin does indeed have easy access to a nice creek, with a picnic table well-suited for converse and relaxing. The cabin and hot-tub are suitably private without being difficult to get to.
The hot-tub worked fine, and was very nice for soaking weary bones after many hours of overtime.
We chose an SUV from our available vehicles, but I although I wouldn’t take a low-slung sports car there, I would feel confident driving any typical compact to the ample/private gravel parking area for the cabin. We had NO difficulty parking right beside the cabin and unloading.
Overall: the cabin is clean, comfortably appointed, and has ample appliances (including a washer and dryer for an extended stay).
I will be quite happy to stay here again.

This is the issues we incounter. My son had a flash light and looked under the master bedroom bed and found a huge dead roach, as well as a broken deorant head . It makes you wonder what else is not properly cleaned. In the kitchen we open the microwave and from the last guest it looked like something exploded. The house keeping didnt clean it, we had to clean it before we could even use it The toaster was covered in dust on the counter and the coffee pot was dirty from the last guest as well. When you shower you pray that the handle doesnt break from being bang so many times (who needs an emergency when your on vacation) This should be secured. The toilet leaks in the bathroom and smelled like urine. We were unable to use firepit due to full of ashes . The rock idea should be away from the viewing area. If you want to sit outside you are breathing in the fumes from the ac unit. In previous comments the ower said we provide you coffee to start you. We found zero coffee for us that night .
On a good note. Its very private not hard to access. Its 20 mins from town activity. The creek is peaceful. Its alittle steep and alittle ways from the cabin.
Overall it does need improvements and it would be a nice place to stay after.

My husband and I rarely get any opportunities to have any time away from work, kids, and our busy life. We booked 2 nights at this cabin hoping it would be the quiet getaway we needed. Upon arrival, I was shocked by how unclean it was. There was a thick layer of dust on blinds, sticky dust in the kitchen on top of the fridge, the dust from the bathroom fan was so thick, when turned on it set off the smoke alarm, peeling wall paper, holes in the wall, moldy window seals, broken dresser drawer, the bed was duct-taped together, rusty and dented pots and pans, old food stuff in the cabinet, the hot tub could only be used the first day because it completely leaked half the water out by the next evening, the toilet seat came off the toilet and wiggled when you sat on it, rusty grill and grates left in the yard...I could deal with being outdated, being up a steep hill, but being unclean was too much. It really seemed as if this place was forgotten for a while except for the water had to have been refilled in the hot tub before our stay as much as it leaked? This rental certainly needs TLC. With all of its potential it makes me sad that it hasn't been given more love and attention.

the cabin was wonderful. very peaceful, very clean, comfy furniture, great front porch. downside...driveway very difficult to get up, ( I drive a full size extended cab chevy pu.) most disappointing was the fact that the hot tub did not work and that was why we rented this cabin. the deck that it was on was in rough shape. railing was about to fall over. we had a really good stay, but needs maintenance. property manager was no help for the problems with the hot tub

The property was in a great location, the manager was easy to get and responsive. Overall the cabin was clean with the exception of the bathroom. The sink itself was clean but the surround had not been cleaned, the back of the toilet and the top of the tank was not cleaned. The mirror wasn't clean and the towels had a funny smell. We had one roll of toilet paper for three women? I also wished I had been warned about the driveway, needless to say I'm glad I didn't drive my car, an SUV was totally needed.

We were so excited for our tiny vacation as a new family of three. Unfortunately we arrived and found bed bugs. Garbage was left on the porch and smelled horrid. The place just wasn’t very clean. Counters were gross and the bed sheets had stains. I was going to wash the sheets which is how I found the bugs. We contacted Darion who worked with us to refund the money however I still am waiting on my deposit. We ended up having to stay at a hotel for the rest of our vacation. There’s so much potential here but definitely need people that will clean the property better.
