Fantastic well cared for home.
The Banana Cabana was a great surprise. It could not have been more perfect. From the awesome décor to the beautiful granite kitchen. The very nice well kept area and the large lot with the corner dock. My husband fished everyday and thoroughly enjoyed himself. We will definitely stay here again. Many thanks to Daneille!!

Our stay was awesome! Loved the canal and the peaceful seating. Convience to everything was perfect!
The house was great we loved the deck. Spent most if our time outside the canal view is so beautiful and peaceful we spent a little time each day enjoying the view. We come to the Keys to Fly Fish on the Flats and as always were not disappointed. We experienced Martin Key beaching for our first time, as well as Kayaking in the back waters. We found many more favorite places to go eat. We are looking forward to coming next year! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Great place to stay!
We loved our visit to the Keys. The Banana Cabana was close to everything - MM17 which was only about 20 minutes to Key West and the airport. The home was very comfy and cozy with very cool Key's decor. The canal was clean...I've stayed at other homes in the Keys where the canal was dark green and you couldn't see the fish, but this canal was very pretty and it was fun to watch the fish swim around. Boating was very easy to navigate too. We caught lots of Snapper, King Mackerel, Stone Crabs and Lobster during our visit. We would love to come back again next year! This home and location won't disappoint.

My piece of heaven
I come down every year and always have a great time banana cabana is close enough to key west if people come down, but far enough away from the madness that makes it famous
The fishing is great, the Atlantic is a short ride with looe key just 9 miles and is one of the most beautiful dives you could ever make
The house is comfortable clean and well maintained and I would and do recommend this property to every one except for the week I'm there😀

Excellent vacation home in an excellent location
My wife and I stayed at Banana Cabana from 1/16/15 to 2/28/15. We have been coming to the Keys for approximately 9 years now and absolutely love the area. We generally stay in the lower Keys with this being our first stay on Sugarloaf. Upon our arrival both of us thought that the pictures didn't show just how nice it truly was. The outside of the home is well kept and landscaped perfectly giving it a private feeling at the end of the canal. When you walk into the house it becomes obvious that the owners take great care in their home and give a lot of thought into the décor and layout. The kitchen is fully equipped with silverware, blender, coffee maker, toaster and all the pots and pans you'll need for cooking (all of which are top quality). The master bedroom has a King size bed with a mattress that is only topped by the amazing sheets, may sound weird but probably the most comfortable I have slept on. The private bathroom off of the bedroom also a bonus. This home also has a washer and dryer available. Not that I can take credit for doing the laundry but I can tell you that they are new and play music when they're finished. Necessary, no but definitely a nice touch and goes to show you the quality of what the home is equipped with. Onto the porch. Chairs, table with plenty of room for a family to eat at and a grill all of which overlook the canal. The canal is now sided on both sides by cement pads with a set of stairs leading into the water. There is also a fish cleaning station by the canal and a hose for cleaning off your fishing equipment, boat or the fish table, again showing the thought put into the home. We did plenty of boating and fishing while there and even though the canal was loaded with snapper, they ended up being like pets that schooled up in the morning and when we returned from fishing to get leftovers and scraps. For those of you bringing a boat, the Sugarloaf Marina (gas, bait, tackle etc.) is a two minute car ride or five minute boat ride. To sum things up, we had a great stay and could not have been happier with the location or the home.
