There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix X. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while your grilling your BBQ.
Come relax on the spacious 4th floor balcony with breathtaking views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master with balcony access! There is also a king bed in the 2nd bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit has been upgraded to included new furniture and new cabinetry. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls. Don't forget we are right next door to the Flora-Bama!

The pictures on the website are very misleading. The entire condo is in desperate need of updating. The drawers in the kitchen were falling apart, the shelf in the freezer is very rusty, the baseboards were all marked up and chucks of word were missing, there was no privacy in the bathrooms, the door knob to one of the bathrooms was too small for the hole, there was a musty feel to the condo.

Pros: Great location. Great view and easy access to the beach. Cons: This unit needs some work. The shelf in the freezer has a lot of rust on it. The toilet paper holder is missing the piece to actually hold the toilet paper. Floors hadn’t been swept. There are brown stains from water leaks that they tried to cover up with paper towels and a bowl under the kitchen sink. Knob missing on closet door in master bathroom. The 2nd shelf on the coffee table still trash from the last occupant and looked like it hadn’t been dusted in quite some time. *rats were seen running around outside the area where the grills are downstairs and a snake😳...

Condo was very nice and clean. We had a fantastic time. The knob in the master bathroom was broke and pushed in. The other bathroom was missing the toilet paper holder. And one half of the toaster sparked. I did email this to Charlie. But in all we had a fantastic time and we're very comfortable.

We loved staying here! It was so relaxing and clean. The view from the main room and balcony access from the master bedroom was especially great! We had the best time since we didn't have to drive anywhere! We parked, walked to all the FloraBama restaurants...perfect location!

Property is clean and the grounds and beach are beautiful. I appreciated having the parking garage and ample luggage carts available. Never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for an elevator. It was busy and I felt the outside pool should have been heated. There was no space in the indoor pool. Way too crowded while the beautiful outdoor was empty as it was freezing. Condo needs a new bathroom door. It doesn’t close and broken. Could use some new pillows in the master and new quilt. The kitchen sink is also clogged. Overall with just a few changes, the condo would be perfect!! Orange Beach is very pretty, clean, and lots to do.

Wonderful location! Located near Flora-Bama restaurant which had tasty food and drinks. We could just walk over from our chairs at the each. Super close and convenient. Condo was clean. Amenities were good. Only complaint is the master bath bathroom door. It is barely usable and barley hanging on the track. Kinda frustrating. The three hot tubs and indoor and outdoor pool were nice. Family friendly. Would def stay at this location again.

We loved the location of this property and it was furnished nicely. However the cleanliness and maintenance of the property lacked a great deal. When we arrived the linen closet had towels just thrown in (we rewashed all). There was also towels in the washing machine. The master closet had a blanket and pillow just thrown into a laundry hamper. There was also some maintenance issues such as one of the drawers in the kitchen was broken and the door in the master bathroom was broken. This would have been a great place if more attention to detail had been done on the cleanliness and maintenance.

Unfortunately we were disappointed with the state of our room. Broken cabinets, leakage under the sink w mold, broken door handles in the master, and not reliable WiFi. Luckily we were out on the beach for most of the stay but still is nice to come back to a put together unit. Would not rent again but if you do not care for the things I mentioned go for it! We enjoy staying at Phoenix 10 every year, we will just get another unit next time.

The condo was very comfortable, great location,and had a great view. Did notice some maintenance work is desperately needed. Knob on the MB bathroom bi-fold door is pushed through. Two or more chairs at the dining table were missing rungs, possibly making them unsafe. The door to the balcony was extremely difficult to open. The shelves inside of the freezer were completely rusted. MB shower was missing a lot of grout. As I mentioned most are simple maintenance fixes. You have my home location wrong. I am from The Villages, Fl!

The property was in a great location. It was very clean and pictures are exactly the way the condo appears. We ate in several meals and the kitchen was nicely equipped. We did bring our own griddle which made things a little easier. The outside area was very clean around the pool and the grills. Parking was nice, the unit is on the 4th floor and you can park in the parking garage just steps away from your vehicle. There are carts available to load your belongings on to make it easier to carry things in. The views are amazing from the balcony. We sat there most of the time when in the condo. I would definitely stay at this condo again!

Floor had not been swept, debris on floor, crumbs and salt on counter, nasty dirty wadded up towels in kitchen sink, no light in master bath, coffee table needed wiping down. Manager said towels and kitchen debris were likely appliance people who installed new appliances. Regardless, should’ve been checked before renting. Bed configuration in 2nd bedroom prohibits door from being able to close.
Decor is nice, view is spectacular. 2nd bedroom could use some tweaking. Old lamp with cord wrapped around it just sitting in there, old tv in closet so we had to move it to hang clothes.

We had a fantastic experience here. We wanted a nice little getaway and it was wonderful. The condo was beautiful, spotless and all around everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful weekend!

This is our second stay at the Phoenix X. First time at this unit. We throughly enjoy this spot for location as you get a beach view and the florabama right next door. Beds were comfortable and everything was good for our 5 day stay. I wish the laundry was a full size set so you’ll do more laundry if you’re staying quite a few days. We went to use the oven and it didn’t turn on but we checked and it actually wasn’t plugged in. Once we plugged it in it worked fine.

Phoenix X is in a great location right beside Flora-Bama, which was where we wanted to go. The beach and pool was not crowded and everyone was very friendly. The room was right by the parking garage so that was nice. I love how they have grocery carts and luggage carts available. Charlie communicated well with how to check in/out and had good recommendations.Overall the room was good. The couch was a little worn - would recommend to get a new one. The 2nd bedroom mattress was ok and the shower curtain needs replaced - had some dirtiness. However, if you’re going for location like we were, it’s a good place to stay.

The location of the Condo is nice, the parking garage was only a few steps away from the Condo, making getting in and out very easy. The view is beautiful, 4 stories up we were able to sit on the balcony in the mornings and see the dolphins, which was great.
It was nice having both bedrooms w/ Kingsize beds, beds were comfortable but the one in the room closes to the entry needs some attention. The ceiling fan in the balcony bedroom didn't work. The sliding glass door to the balcony was VERY hard to open. So there are some things that definitely need attention Maintenace-wise and it had been cleaned I'm sure, but could definitely been cleaned better. We cleaned sinks, shower and tub before use - so maybe the next guests will notice it cleaner.
Tip to anyone staying here, make sure you plan to bring all your own paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent and softener, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, plastic wrap, baggies and things like that unless you plan to eat out for every meal. They provide what they refer to as "starter" and that means 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels. You'll also want to bring your shampoo/conditioner and body wash as well. This is not a chain hotel and the little samples provided wouldn't last long if you chose to use them.
We were there the week right before Labor Day, so we had everything almost to ourselves which was so relaxing. Then Friday the crowds rolled in. Before the crowds we were also able to enjoy the pool a couple of days when the beach moss rolled in. We love Orange Beach and will definitely go again.

Cozy Condo with Amazing View
Condo is located right on the beach with a fantastic gulf view. Complex has great parking for $60 (unit is on 4th floor just off the parking garage) and has nice amenities. There is a short walk to the beach with umbrella/chair rental right there.
Condo itself is cozy, but beds and couch are older. There were a couple maintenance issues when we checked in, but they were addressed quickly.
Overall, my family was happy with our rental and would feel fine about returning.

After some mixed reviews, we decided on this place. It us a great gulf front property. The furniture is nice and we used the balcony a lot for meals and just to watch the waves. It is very close to the parking ramp. It is easy to get to the beach. There is a service to rent chairs on the beach. Great place to stay.
