We really enjoyed our stay in this excellent Marchmont flat. It's very well equipped and has everything you could need for a wonderful stay.
Location is excellent. We were able to walk to everywhere we needed.
Communication with Lynn was very good and she even let us check out later because no one was arriving the following day which was very helpful as we were meeting our family for brunch round the corner.
We'd definitely recommend this flat.

I LOVE this flat. It is clean, comfortable, homey. It is the best supplied flat in which I have stayed - and I have stayed in several in Scotland and France.
It is in a wonderful area .. Marchmont is best ... close to shops, the best cafe (Birchwood) and easy access to buses and to the wonderful Edinburgh parks - especially the Meadows.
And I love the little garden - so private and a great place to sit in the sun. And there was sun.
I would stay here again - and hope to do so - in an Edinburgh minute.

The flat is nicely presented and very spacious, in a beautiful part of Edinburgh, located a pleasant 30 minute stroll from the city centre.
The owner was very helpful and prompt in replying to any queries. She had very kindly provided us with a variety of provisions such as wine, biscuits etc and the flat was very well equipped with everything you could need, from hair straighteners to hand wash.
It was very useful having two bathrooms and both bedrooms were spacious, as was the lounge.
It’s possible to park very close to the property for free during weekends but there is a charge for week days.
Overall we were very impressed with the property and would definitely stay here again.

Lynne is an exceptional host and the flat is wonderful. She has thought of everything to make your stay easy and comfortable. A basket with treats was waiting for us as well as milk and juice in the fridge. The flat is steps from a Sainsbury’s and a Co-op. Steps from bus stops as well, making for quick access to the city centre and the Royal Mile.
I would love to stay again.

This was a very nice & clean apartment (flat). Perfect for my friend & I to stay for a few days. We walked every day which took about 30 minutes to get to the Royal Mile.
The only negative I have is there is NO parking provided. So if you have a car, you need to pay for parking each day (M-F)(and that was NOT user friendly).

The apartment was bigger and airier than the photos show. The owner, Lynne had really thoughtfully stocked the apartment with food/drinks/hand wash etc. there were lots of guides and info on Edinburgh. Everything was brilliant quality - the furnishings, bed linens, towels etc. the street had a power outage and we had to contact Lynne at 10pm. She was so helpful and checked with us the next morning that the power was back on. A truly lovely host of a brilliant apartment. The apartment was well located, 15 min walk to the centre, co-op directly opposite and a Sainsburys down the road. Would definitely stay here again.

Edinburgh Holiday
We could not have been happier with this spacious ground floor, 2 bedtoom, 2 bath flat. Owner answered inquires via VRBO messaging quickly and accomodated last minute changes to our plan. Arrived to find some more than basic provisions supplied in a well appointed kitchen. Our visit purpose was to be near family (litetaly around the corner) but this location is easy walking distance to the Meadows and the University, a little farther to the Royal Mile and Princes St. As we had an extended stay, owner provided weekly linen change service that was an unexpected touch.

Holidays in Edinburgh
This was a great little flat in a quiet neighborhood (the students were away!). We were spending two weeks in Edinburgh for the holidays with our relatives. We arrived late but Lynn was waiting for us. She showed us around the flat and showed us how things worked. For three people it was the perfect size. The kitchen was well stocked with everyday necessities and there were grocery stores and other shops just around the corner. Very close to the Meadows where we went to watch the fireworks. All in all we would highly recommend this place. And, as always, Edinburgh was wonderful.

Such a great flat!
This flat was a perfect size for a family of 4. Our adult children shared one bedroom and my husband and I shared the other. Two bathrooms is really helpful!
The living room is spacious and stocked with info about Edinburgh. The kitchen was also stocked with coffee and tea and milk and snacks to welcome us.
Lynn is the host and she was extremely communicative and gracious.
It's a ten minute walk to the Meadows and there was lots of ships, pubs and places to eat in the area.
I recommend this heartily.

Lovely apartment in south Edinburgh
We are two retired couples visiting the fringe and were lucky to find this superb apartment in Marchmont. The location was excellent. Quiet, good local amenities and only 20-25 minutes to Princess Street. We found it very convenient for visiting the fringe events we had booked for eg Meadows, George Square and Pleasance etc. The accommodation was lovely and spacious, clean and well equipped and we had a really nice welcome from our host Lynn. An excellent host. All in all would definitely come back here and recommend to anyone wanting to visit Edinburgh. Local buses are on the doorstep for f you want to use them.
