Close to things but yet tucked away. Nice size as perfect for 3 people. Clean. Hot tub was good after long day hiking. Exceeded expectations .

Property and stay was perfect. Beds are the only complaint, they’re in desperate need of replacement.

Very clean, accurate pictures. Would absolutely recommend and will be coming back!

Hot tub was awesome, and tons of things to do close by!

My wife and I stayed in the Cumberland cabin 4 4 nights with our 2 Border Collies. The stay was peaceful and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was nice, but the incline on the hill going to the fire pit, and the air around the fire pit was quite small. Especially to have dogs. It would’ve been nice to have flatter walking area but overall it was a nice visit. Thank you.

Everything was great with just one exception. The first floor bedroom’s has no bottom in the main drawer. You can’t store anything in it.
Hot tube was great and birds sang to us. 🙂

Mom’s only adventure! This cabin was PERFECT! The location was ideal for hiking and browsing the antique shops.
Pictures and description are accurate. You’ll enjoy the hot tub after a nice long hike. Definitely looking forward to visiting again!

This is our fourth time starting with The Chalets. The rental process is super easy and the cabins are very cozy. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub are a great way to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back and will for sure rent from The Chalets.

Clean comfortable cabin lived the key pad for check in once cabin was ready. Looked just like pictures online and friendly service each time I called with questions about the area!

Great little place! The hot tub was a nice extra little bonus. Just wish the fire pit was a bit closer to the house. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

We stayed here for the benefit of having a fun cabin experience as well as being able to explore Hocking Hills. The listing said it included a pool. We were told upon check in that the pool had been out if service for weeks before our stay and no one notified us. The pool is also not in the property.
The hot tub leaks and was half empty by the third day of our stay. You could see it leaking from under the deck that it say on. The dirt under the deck was soaked and there was black mold. Around the base of the entire hot tub was green algae. The bottom of the hit rub was slimy as well. We contacted the management of the property and they refused to offer a partial refund. We did not get what we were promised/paid for. They tried to tell us that the price for the stay was already discounted due to the
Pool closure, however, this was not started anywhere in the listing. So the high price we agreed to pay should have included a pool and a properly working hot tub.
Please also be aware that the picture of lake access is a 10 min drive from the cabin. It is not on the property. The listing also mentioned a large field to play games/run/play.... There was no such place.
The cabin is near the road, so please be aware that you will hear road traffic while relaxing on the porch.
The poison ivy around the cabin is very prolific. Be aware with small children.
The cabin had a very strong musty/smokey smell. Part of the smell seemed like cigarette smoke.
The neighboring cabin had a gas grill and we had a charcoal grill. That was frustrating.
The doors of the cabin open awkwardly, making it somewhat hard to enter certain rooms or be productive in those rooms, especially the entrance that leads into the very small kitchen (which has no counter space, if you plan to do a lot of cooking, it will be a challenge). The kitchen also did not have a dishwasher, which would have been nice.
There were black hairs on the sheets of the downstairs bed.
Needed more toilet paper for a weeks stay than what was provided for a family of four. Thankfully we brought extra.
Overall, we didn't spend as much time in the cabin that we felt we paid a decent price for. We had hoped to spend more down time there, but spent time elsewhere due to the fact that many things that we thought would be included or working properly were not. The fact that management would not give at least a partial refund, due to these issues, was extremely disappointing and frustrating.

Great cabin, located less than 15 min from Old Mans Cave. Super clean, hot tub was nice and just what we needed!

Had a wonderful extended weekend. Cabin is located close to great hiking. Old man’s cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Cantwell Cliffs and Rockhouse. 30 minutes to Athens as well. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I really enjoyed this cabin for our anniversary. Just the right amount of isolation, but close enough to town. The hot tub was a big plus!

Enjoyed this cabin. Would definitely stay there again. Was located near most of the attractions and hikes we went on. Very well maintained, probably one of the cleanest rentals I’ve rented.

One of the nicer cabins we stayed in this summer. Very clean, private and much bigger than the pictures show. However, the bed in the main bedroom was so worn and without support that my fiancé hurt his back.

The property was nice. We especially liked the hot tub. Check-in was accomplished virtually so very easy. The cabin looked like the picture so our expectations were met. The small, outdoor grill was rusted out but we were able to use it.
