This was a birthday surprise in London booked by my fabulous boyfriend! Easy to reach all of the tourist areas direct from Kingston Station. Plenty to do in Kingston too.
Some blinds/curtains would be beneficial, as the property has many windows.
Driveway a little small, and tendency for other cars to park across it.
Clean, comfortable and the perfect base for a sightseeing trip.

We enjoyed this place very much while on a short trip to London. The rental is the top, 3rd floor of the host's home and it is modern, lovely, clean and comfortable. We loved the sky views and all the windows overlooking the neighborhood, the large bathroom/shower, and everything we needed to cook small meals. I particularly loved the nearby church bells ringing to tell us the time of day.
The owners, Olga and Julian, were helpful and accessible when needed, and were otherwise respectfully in the background. This is a perfect place for those looking for a neighborhood vibe and wanting a quiet place outside of London. The train is 5 minutes walk and took about a half hour to travel into the city, long enough to daydream a little or plan your adventures. We also traveled by car and recommend coordinating the parking situation with the owners beforehand as it is a little challenging in the busy neighborhood.
Thanks for sharing your home, Olga and Julian - we greatly appreciated it!

The apartment is lovely. It’s very bright given all the sky lights, so if you plan to sleep in and the light bothers you, bring an eye mask. The apartment is accessible through the family home, so we were a little worried about bothering them when we came in late or left early. Close to train, bus, grocery store, and restaurants. Easy accessible from Heathrow (about 45 minutes on the bus). A little bit of a distance from central London (about 45 minutes on the train) if that’s where you plan to spend most of your time. There are some cool things to see right in the area if you are interested in history: the church and the palace are must see.

A beautiful property owned by two very nice people. They were very generous with their washer and dryer, which was very helpful. Enjoyed the flat very much. However, one should be aware that in very warm weather it can become very warm in the unit. There are multiple windows to open, but I learned the hard way about leaving them open while I was out. A very large framed glass picture was resting up on a dresser against the wall. It was not hung on the wall, and as the wind picked up the day I was out, it caused it to fall to the floor and shattered the glass. The owner charged me L35.00, about $50.00 US, which I don’t believe I should have had to pay for as it was just resting against the wall, and the wind was more “an act of God” in my opinion, and there was no warning about leaving them fully open. The windows open very nicely with a remote, and were very wide open due to the heat. I only mention this, as I don’t think the owners believed I didn’t knock the picture off the dresser myself, which I did not. I simply want the next renter to be aware. Other than this incident, I would definitely recommend this as a lovely place to stay.

Out visit in London was because my daughter was accepted as a student at The Royal Ballet School summer intensive at White Lodge. White Lodge is placed in the middle of Richmond park. So we needed to find a place quite close to Richmond.
That it would be so good as this apartment I did not expect. The apartment was so bright, modern, clean and placed in a lovely district of London. Kingston upon Thames was very nice in it self. If you like shopping you have great opportunity about 10 minutes walk away. Also Richmond,15-20 minutes with bus was a nice part of London. The bus stop was 2 minutes walk from the apartment. When you go with bus between Kingston and Richmond you go in such a lovely area. Cute. From Richmond you have the train station that gets you in the London city within 30 minutes. Me and my son walked one day along the Thames. It took us about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is like to take a walk in the countryside.
Both Kew Garden and Richmond park is nice to visit. Also very close.
If you don’t feel a need to stay in the middle of London I recommend this apartment. When we came home in the late adternoons we opened the windows and enjoyed the green gardens in the area.

My daughter and I felt like we were surrounded by family, happy and safe in this light-filled little nest about an hour out from London!
We didn't realize how close shopping was until the last day! But its all there.
Only challenge was the steep three flights of stairs with the luggage.

Our stay in London was made even better by the beautiful loft apt we stayed in. Our hosts were wonderful, the apt clean and charming. Public transportation was in just a couple short blocks which made getting around London very easy. We would recommend this loft to anyone who wants a great place to stay !
