Lovely quiet room with a view of Tuscany , pvt bathroom . Antique furniture. Great location especially for VF travelers. A few steps to get to room but if you are fit should not be a problem .

The village was amazing, the host (Cristiano) also was gentel, he gave us some informations about the center and where to eat. The room was clean and confortable, we enjoyed our stay and we recommend his place.
The room hasn't an air conditionner, so at night it was hot.

Great location, historical building, spacious.Christiano was very helpful. Gambassi Terme lovely town, on pilgrim route, very Italian - town square nearby
All good and perfect for us mostly out all day. Felt like a pilgrim

Beautiful view. Great staff. Great location.
Very old facility. Profits could be rolled back into improvements. No air. (Even a ceiling fan or portable fan would be an improvement).

We loved this atmospheric spot. Friendly welcome. Helpful with our bag transfer. Lovely airy room with great views. We enjoyed our aperitivo and breakfast at their nearby Bar Centrale before continuing on our Via Francigena

Cristiano was very accommodating and kind. The view was beautiful. The bathroom was unique and the room itself was comfortable. It was the perfect distance from the local bar/cafe. Quaint street in a quaint town. Lovely.
The only thing missing was Nonna!

We were so grateful to be given a spacious apartment, very authentic - it felt like home. Sadly we only had one night there.

Great location.
The room has a view over red-tiled roofs of the Tuscan flatland below.
The bathroom is in the arch that one sees form outside as one enters via the town's porta.
It's hot, but a fan is provided.
Friendly dog in the yard below the window.

The room was fine, with a beautiful view, a clean bathroom and a niced view
One of the staff behaved rudely, in an unexpected manner
The staff member who booked me in , while otherwise friendly, forgot to tell me that evening entrance was by a door on a side street. When I returned after dinner at about 9.30 pm, I could not gain access via the main door. I called the hotel mobile number and spoke to a woman to say that the main door was closed. However, after 5-10 minutes waiting outside in the cold, no-one arrived. I then had to bang on the door loudly until finally an upstairs window opened and a man called out that the entrance was by a side door. I then entered and reached my room fine. However 5 minutes later there was banging on my room door and the same man was there speaking to me in a rude and loud manner. I asked for an apology and closed the door. He continued banging on the door, and speaking impolitely. After a while he left and I could sleep. (Had I been a female guest, I would have been frightened) I was very surprised, since this behaviour was wholly unnecessary, since all that was needed was a polite request to use the side door

The location is perfect and on the Via Francigena as you enter the village. There is a clothes line and pegs for the light travelling "pilgrim"! Mosquito repellent provided also nice herbal tea. Beautiful view from windows.
All good -perhaps clearer internet/wifi instructions.

Wonderful experience. Cute room looked like a doll house. Lovely details everywhere, very clean, and located at a medieval village. Very authentic experience!

Room in historic part of the castle.
Room serves all basic purposes, but not beyond. In need of maintenance/upgrading in various aspects. Wifi very poor, both in terms of signal and speed.

Nicely decorated and it had charm and character. It also had a kettle in the room.
There were problems with the internet and the owner was waiting for help but in the meantime left me his own mobile for a few hours so I could use his personal hotspot. Very considerate of him.
