Nice getaway
When I arrived to the property I haven’t received an email about the code to get in but it was very simple to get. The house was soooo beautiful, nice view!! The only thing was there was no air and dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. Overall everything was very nice and I recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Boone for a nice getaway

Fabulous
We really enjoyed the home and the snow! My teenage sons enjoyed playing pool and taking pictures off the deck. On Monday, it was nice to have someone come lay salt down ! Defintely want to come back soon.

The cabin was beautiful. We had everything we needed. Pool table, ping pong table and 8 person hot tub was perfect for the family. The snow was beautiful on top of the mountain. We will make sure to have chains our next visit, if it's in the winter. The location was convenient to Boone. Watch for deer, they are running everywhere. Beautiful view.

Great place for family
We enjoyed Longview Lodge. There were six of us, all adults. It was a cold Christmas week and we enjoyed using the hot tub, sauna, pool table, ping pong table, etc., in addition to taking advantage of outdoors activities in nearby parks. The kitchen is very well equipped and workable. The view across the valley is very nice. Almost no traffic meant we could walk around in the neighborhood to take advantage of some of the view sheds from there and walk the dog.
The downstairs fireplace was fun for some real fires and the two other gas fireplaces helped keep things warm when it was 5 degrees out! We did need chains to get out of the neighborhood after a winter storm.

The driveway was horrible. House sleeps 12 to 13 people but theres not much room for 4 to 5 cars to park. Also it is a sharp incline and its not very fun when its covered with ice and snow the morning you have to leave. Specially when you have to get disabled parents out to the car and up drive way. Also the stove on main level needs to be serviced. We about burnt every thing cooked from toast, supper, or cookies. Dishes in the cabinet was still dirty and few things thru house need to be fixed. I surely don't want to be liable for anything broken. Over all the house was beautiful and lots of fun and lots of space.

Very nice location, just a few minutes down the hill to King St. So nice to be at 4000ft, overlooking the best view in NC. Needs to be cleaned up real good on the inside, but it's a rental home and I understand.

Awesome view
The house was perfect for our group of ladies. Loved the view and the home had all the necessary things you would need. Beds were comfortable! The only downside was the Shower head in the Master.

Outstanding!
Came out here for a long weekend with our 2-year old and dog. Absolutely wonderful property, location, and view. We only used about a third of the house, but will definitely be back.

Wonderful View, Uncomfortable Beds, Hot
The location was wonderful, with spectacular views. The family enjoyed the billiards in the basement, and the treadmill was an added bonus. It was very hot this week, so we had to open the windows, but many of the screens had rips, allowing bugs in the house, especially on the beds. The windows themselves were very hard to open, and very dirty. The mattresses were old, and made many noises, so comfort was an issue for us. I would also question the level of cleaning down before our visit, as there was dust everywhere, and a consistent smell in the front hall of cleaning supplies (or chlorine?). There were no instructions in the house, so we needed to depend on email conversations with our agent, who was very responsive.

Boone getaway
We had a wonderful time and beautiful views. The porch is great with a BBQ and amazing views.
The house needs some TLC.
When you first open the house it needs to be aired out as there is a musty smell.
Some windows do not open.
The basement area is great for kids but does have a musty smell and ventilation is poor.
It has a great sauna and playroom.
The kitchen is small and needs updates on utensils and kitchenware. Unlike some other VRBO properties the kitchen will be bare as far as any salt, oil, condiments etc that may be there from previous guest.
The bedding can also use an update.
Overall, it’s close to town, the living and dining room are small but nice.
With a few touch ups and upgrades the house can really benefit.

House had lovely view, great amenities, good location. Comfortable bedding. Lots of room for our family of 6 and dog. Kitchen had lots of extra dishes for the meals we ate in. Kids really enjoyed hot tub and pool table. We had a great time.

Deck view was the best part
The house needs a good cleaning - ceiling fan in master bedroom was so dusty, I was afraid to turn it on. All of the stained baseboards were gray w/dust. The bottom of the inside of the trash can was filthy. The security system beeped every 5 minutes the whole 3 days we were there. Contacted Carolina Cabin Rentals to get it fixed or turned off. The lady said someone would be calling me back, never heard back from her. The main overhead light inside at the front door was blown. She claimed someone would be out to replace it, never called or came by. Refrigerator shelf had dried, sticky liquid on it. Messy, unorganized cabinets, drawers in kitchen.
Empty beer can under the recliner. The inside of the garage looked like it belonged to an abandoned home.
The view on the deck was gorgeous. We enjoyed the clean hot tub. The layout of the home is nice, just needs to be updated & a good deep cleaning.

Location was key & this place was perfectly placed close to downtown Boone! My daughter goes to Appalachian so it was 10 min from her apartment & the place was spotless and perfect for our big group. Having a separate living area downstairs with a bedroom, kitchen & gameroom was great for the younger kids. Loved this property! 💗

Great getaway!
The house was beautiful and the view even better. The kitchen had all the pots and pans we needed to cook. The house had enough space so 8 of us weren’t on top of each other. The only issue was there weren’t any sheets for the trundle bed or a top sheet on the bunk. Besides that everything was great! The property manager responded so quickly to questions I had and was very helpful. Overall a great place to getaway if you want to be close to Boone but far enough away from the noise.

Thank you for the amazing weekend!
This was an excellent cabin and it was an amazing experience. We greatly appreciated all of the amenities as well as the household items provided. I would strongly recommend this specific cabin and location to family and friends. Additionally, I would rent this again myself. The service before hand was amazing as well. Instructions were very detailed, clear and easy to follow. Thank you for everything.

We rented 2 cabins! 1 didn't have any water and they where unable to find the problem!
The other one was so old and smell like mold inside its was dirty in one room that the floor was falling between the garage and lower floor section!

Vacation in the clouds!
This was a great place to stay for graduation weekend! A little hot at first but it cooled off in no time. Great views! The kids loved the hot tub and the game room. This house has plenty of room for two families. I would definitely stay again.

Great mountain cabin retreat!
We had a great time at this property. It was a great location with amazing views. The set-up was perfect for multi-family vacations and multi-generation. While it was a great house, we cannot give it a full 5 stars for several reasons. It was far from the cleanest property we've stayed at. Most of the dishes had to be washed due to filth and residue, there were dirty rags throughout (left by mistake, I'm sure), and the old rugs need a serious shampooing or just need to be tossed. The beds were extremely firm (a preference for some) and the decor needs some serious freshening up. Also, although it is in the terms, I was a bit disappointed that a property like this didn't at least have more than one roll of toilet paper, paper towels, etc. This was certainly bare bones when it comes to amenities. True this is in the terms, but there was no "above and beyond" at this property. That being said, we had a great time and would recommend this property to other families.

The cabin itself was
The cabin itself was perfect! The parking was not good. The driveway was too steep. The drive from Boone to the cabin was horrible, especially at night, in the fog. For that reason, I probably will not stay at that cabin again.

Longview Lodge
This cabin was perfect for our mountain weekend with a group of 12. There were plenty of amenities to keep everyone occupied (sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, TV, very close to downtown Boone). The view was great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The second day we were
The second day we were there the second bathroom was flooding and it was going down to the next level and dripping on the pool table which we had to put a bucket under so we were not able to use the pool table also the hot tub would not go over 92 degrees so we were not able to utilize that and although the place was nice this was very disappointing as we had to keep going into the master bedroom and impose on their privacy just to use the restroom and we had a lot of teenagers and young adults that used the pool table and ping pong table the first night and then we're no longer able to and as I was the one that picked out this spot for the reservation for our family trip and the pool table hot tub where one of the main reasons which we couldn't even use, and when the property manager came the day after the leak we were just told not to use the bathroom and that was it

Awesome!
We all loved staying here! The response time was insanely quick when we needed a new coffee pot and our disposal fixed even though it was the weekend, the hot tub was clean and ready for us, the game room was stocked (nothing missing) and all of the furniture was top notch! We loved staying here and really appreciate all the hospitality. Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

Great location and spacious cabin
This was around the 5th time staying in Boone with my friends and this had to have the best location of all the cabins we've stayed at. In just ten minutes you could be down from the cabin and right onto main street. That being said, the beds aside from the master suite could have been bigger and the driveway is very very steep. That cabin itself has good amenities and enough room for people to get some space from each other. The kitchen is a bit small but gets the job done. All-in-all this was a great cabin to stay in and the close proximity to downtown really helps round it out.

Ideal house for large family
This home was spread out on two floors and more than accommodated three adults and four teens. The hot tub and sauna were just icing on the cake.
