A perfect place to stay.

Fantastic home in a perfect location to visit The Taj Mahal. Excellent home cooked food available and breakfast very generous. The team at the property could not do enough to make the stay as pleasurable as possible.

Actual Indian experience, but clean and cosy.

I rarely say this but this is a pearl. Big, clean room. Clean bathroom, hot water, heater, AC. And a breakfast with the owner. Much mere than we could actually eat (both Indian and European options). What is nice also that it was perfectly quiet between 11pm and 6am. Neighbourhood is a proper authentic Indian experience. Walking distance to Taj Mahal. Or ricksha. I was not paid to do this review. Owners photos represent the actual state of the room for today.

Really enjoyable

The location was great and the hosts very welcoming. The food was nice and homemade. Made sure we went to Taj in afternoon as told us we wouldn’t see it in the morning due to fog and he was correct!

Needed the heater for the January night as was a little chilly.

Excellent value for money

Spacious and very clean room; kind and helpful owners; delicious home-cooked meals.

The area around the property is quite noisy, but this is part of the package if you decide to stay in Agra proper rather than in a more expensive hotel that is set back from the roads. Just bring ear plugs!

Exceptional

After one month in India Coral Country Homestay was the best homestay found. The dinner was fantastic, the room was big, clean, very quiet, with anything you need! The owner helped us a lot, he gave us a lot of tips for go around the city and he even helped us get the ticket for the train. Amazing stay in Coral Country!! Must place to stay in Agra.

Most elegant, humble, beautiful Homestay

The colours of the home are so lively, it's exactly depicted in the pictures. Additionally they figured out about my partners birthday from the document and got us a cake to celebrate. They served us a delicious breakfast. To be simple " If I would visit Agra again coral country home stay would be my go to "

Really beautiful property with great food. Eat dinner here! The family is really nice and will help you with whatever you need. The room also has great ac and a large functional bathroom.

Home away from home!

Our Host Sagar was very caring and understanding. I was not well and he brought me some hot drink with honey for my throat. He also kept checking up on me and i genuinely felt he cared for his guests. It really felt like home! Wonderful people and wonderful place.

Very clean and great location

The room was good-sized and very clean. Even the bathroom was very, very clean. Excellent location; only a 20-minute walk all the way to the Taj Mahal ticket window. Plus, the breakfast was very filling with a good variety of food. The owners are very nice.

There is nothing negative about this property. Just make sure your taxi driver takes you here and not to another place where he earns a commission (as my driver tried to do). Call the Coral Country Homestay owners on their number that they will give you, and the taxi driver has no excuse. You really want to stay here!

Excellent homestay

Friendly and welcoming owner, who would sit with us for breakfast and dinner in case you wanted to have a conversation, but was not too imposing for it to be awkward. Beautiful homestay. Good location for the Taj Mahal. Situated on a local street, which was great to have a feel for the real India.

Every taxi and tuk tuk driver mistook the name and location of this homestay for that of its sister homestays, the Coral House or Coral Tree homestays. This caused stress and difficulty finding the homestay after a long train journey - but this is not the homestay’s fault! My suggestion is to trust the location given by google maps for Coral Country Homestay, NOT the booking.com map.

It was so comfortable that I walked in and immediately wanted to stay longer! Spotlessly clean

Everything and everyone here. The owners are a wonderful helpful couple. Gopal was my tour guide, the very best , knowledgeable, intelligent, insightful. The little family who live in and manage Coral are such lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, fresh fruit and juice with breakfast and excellent Indian meals for dinner. Very good value for money.

We had a great stay, a bit further away from the main and most chaotic areas, which are super easy to reach on foot as well. Dinner was great, as well as breakfast, and the room is beautiful! They helped us a lot in organizing our transport to the next destination. Thanks for the great hospitality!

The place is really beautiful, spotlessly clean, spacious room and bathroom, good amenities and excellent food. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. One bonus thing is, they have a pure veg kitchen and jain food is also available.

Our best room in India

Stylish homestay with nice and cosy inner spaces. The staff was kind and helpful, they made us amazing breakfasts. The Taj Mahal are close to the place, like 20 minutes by walk.

The neighbourhood is a bit wierd, but just if you are not used to Indian village style.

A delightful homestay.

This is the sweetest homestay with the most lovely family who do everything they can to make sure your stay with them is a good one. The breakfasts are very nice and the dinner was generally excellent. it has small but well maintained garden for sitting in. It’s also one of the few places with proper reading lights so I didn’t disturb my partner. It’s in a much quieter area than Agra city, which is not nice at all, and you come out into a village with a market that has an excellent chai stall (turn left out the door, left again and he’s just there on the right. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Taj.

A couple of small things: Two pillows should be given as standard The marble floor in the bathroom is slippery like ice when wet so request a bath mat which really helps.

The host is the best host I’ve ever met. We were feeling a bit under the weather when arriving, and the host supplied us with water and anything else we needed. We were also served a really delicious lunch since we missed the breakfast because of our “Taj Mahal”-tour. The room was also nice and very clean. Strongly recommend this place!

One of our best stays in India

We had such a lovely stay at the Coral Country Homestay. They arranged a late check in and check out for us at no extra cost. Breakfast was delicious and they even provided us with some snacks for the road.
