About this apartment rental
Close your eyes and let yourself be lulled by the sweet sound of the waves.
If you stay in this apartment, you can almost forget that you are in the heart of the historic center, thanks to its extreme proximity to the sea.
The Calarossa beach is in fact right under the house, from our balconies you can admire the view of the sea of Ortigia, while its sound will envelop you and make you travel with your mind.
The apartment next door can be rented simultaneously, to obtain a Maxi loft, up to a maximum of 10 people.
Cot and high chair available at a cost of € 10, to be paid in cash at check in (must be requested in advance).
Where the nymph Aretusa turned into Fonte, a step away from the Maniace Castle and the Cathedral of the Duomo, you will be welcomed as our guests, hoping that the Sicilian spirit can enter your heart and remain there forever.
A brand new apartment, just completely renovated and available on Airbnb only from April 2019. Finished and furnished with great attention, completed with fine details.
Shower with chromotherapy, complete kitchen, washing machine, TV in every room, central air conditioning, high speed WIFI, parquet and laminal floors, double glazed windows.
These are just some of the accessories that you will find in the house, to offer the best for your holiday.
The neighboring apartment can be rented simultaneously for larger groups / families, up to a maximum total of 10 people.
We put our heart and comfort into it, you fill it with memories!
Ortigia is subject to ZTL (limited traffic zone), therefore there are some restrictions that do not allow you to drive inside the island during certain time slots.
On weekdays, the ZTL is active from 20 to 2am;
on Saturdays and pre-holidays it is active from 16 to 2am;
Sunday and holidays is active from 11am to 2am.
Outside these hours, you can drive inside the island and also reach the apartment by car.
In any case, for any doubt, just consult the electronic sign that you will find at the entrance to Ortigia, just before the Ponte Santa Lucia.
If it says "ZTL NOT ACTIVE", you can enter by car; if it says "ZTL ATTIVA", you will not be able to cross the bridge, you will have to turn left and cross the second bridge, Ponte Umbertino, in order to reach the main public car parks.
Parking area:
1- You can park in the TALETE public car park; it costs € 15 per 24h or € 1.50 per hour and is located at the entrance of the island, 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
This is also the best option when the ZTL is active, as it can still be reached when the island is closed to car transit.
-I can book a private garage for you, which is 200 meters from the apartment.
It costs € 20.00 per day and they will report your license plate to the local police, so as to authorize you to drive inside Ortigia even when the ZTL is active.
However, please keep in mind that places are limited and must therefore be booked in advance.
I want to clarify that I have no economic or personal interest in recommending the services listed above, so I will not be held responsible for any direct problems with them.
