House had everything we needed with plenty of space
3.0
This house was very large and accommodated our entire group but it only had 2 bathrooms and this was a inconvenience at times.
We also found that the lighting in the lounge, dinning and kitchen to be a bit dark for our liking, but changing to brighter light globes and cleaning the light covers will fix this.
The games room was large and roomy but looked very tired. Could do with a touch up.
You also need to install a dryer.
Overall it was a nice place to stay.

We stayed at this great house for a family wedding. We had family traveling from the UK that arrived before check in and Chris was kind enough to let us check in a little early. The property is as described. Plenty of room and loved the deck. Aircon was very helpful as well. The grandkids loved the games room downstairs. The only downsides for us were there wasn’t enough forks (9 or 10) and crockery (plates). This meant we had to hand wash or use the dishwasher very frequently. Also the internet was very slow and kept timing out. My daughter was trying to work during the stay and it was very difficult with the internet. It’s a great property though and we would recommend.

Overall the property is very comfortable and spacious. The host approachable and helpful.
Beds were comfortable and warm. No TV's in bedrooms. It would be nice to have a dressing table and mirror in the 2nd bedroom and more hangers in all bedrooms.
Our group found the stairs quite steep to the lower level.
The kitchen is well appointed but .could do with one or two updates. I.e. new wok, replace some crockery which was chipped. We also had to clean the dishwasher before we used it.
The blinds in lounge need attention.
Lovely views and a great deck off the dining room
We enjoyed our stay plenty of space and a very good rec room

Excellent variety of entertainment.
House was massive with a well equiped kitchen and good views of the water. Lots to keep you entertained with a with a pool table, table tennis table, Foxtel and internet. We loved the location as it was a 5 minute drive to the shops & 10 minutes to the Spirit if Tasmania. Fantastic base for lots of sights including Cataract Gorge, Cradle Montain, Mole Hill Caves and numerous farm gates. Some of the blinds didn't close properly & could be replaced, we were waking up pretty early with the sunlight coming in.

Great house for a group or big family.
Fantastic house for a group, especially kids who spent all their time in the games room. Table tennis table a bit wobbly, needs strengthening. Loved that the left overs (e.g. peanut butter, vegemite, butter etc) left in the fridge/pantry - so maybe check first before you go to the supermarket! Great views, location - couldn't fault it, we all loved it.
