Ein schmutziger Müllplatz

Die katastrophalste Unterkunft die ich jemals hatte. Ein verlassener Müllplatz. Bei der Ankunft empfing uns ein leeres verschmutztes Haus. Hundekot im Gang. Statt getrenntem Wohn- und Schlafzimmer 1 unsauberer Raum. Statt Blick aufs Meer Blick auf Müllhalde. Dazu Gestank durch vor dem Balkon abgelagerten Müll des ehemaligen geschlossenen Restaurants. Lärm von dem nahen Fabriksgebäude oder Kraftwerk. Nach einer schlaflosen Nacht haben wir am Vormittag ohne einen Vermieter jemals zu sehen diesen fürchterlichen Platz verlassen. Obwohl wir 19 Tage bezahlt haben. Auf schriftliche Rückforderungsansprüche hat der Vermieter nicht reagiert

I loved the location! The sea was clean and had beautiful sea caves

I booked and paid 3 months ago on booking. We booked and paid for a studio with seaview. He wanted to give us a small room overlooking the public toilets and changing rooms with the excuse that he had no other room. How can he not have a room that i had booked and prepaid 3 months prior I argued and told him i was going to complain to booking. Com and 5 min later he gave me a larger room with seaview. Spoiled my whole stay. The room was never cleaned 4 nights stay. Same towels for 5 days

the location is unique with a fantastic view of the sea. the apartments are modern and comfortable. The beach is very beautiful with many small bays, sandy beach without stones. The boss is very friendly and accommodating. I'll be back for sure!

Very nice place. We had basically our own beach just nearby, which was never overcrowded. The owner Andreas and his right hand Maria are the kindest people you will ever meet in Cyprus. Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly.

Wonderfully peaceful stay near the beach.

I had a wonderful time relaxing beside the sea as a solo and woman traveller. Andreas and Maria were extremely friendly and helpful. The flat was impeccably clean and the view from the balcony lovely. The property was safe and secure. There was plenty of parking. There was a bus stop nearby the property, which I assume meant that non-drivers could access Limassol easily, but I did not see any buses stop there during the Xmas season.

The bed was little uncomfortable. I would have liked to be within walking distance of a shop or other restaurants but was still able to use my rented car to get into Limassol for food shopping, sightseeing and restaurants.

Trying to find where the high rating (9.5) corresponds to.

Mr Andreas called us on the phone to ask about our arrival time and made sure he was there to welcome us and give us the key. The rooms are renovated, with all the basic comfort. They are quiet, at least during the night. The access to the beach in front is by stairs (about 30 steps) and both the small scale of the beach and the scenery with the white stones and the trees above are lovely. The restaurant offers a very nice view of this beach. It has good wi-fi. It is near the highway, at about the center of the coastal Cyprus, helpful if you want to travel around like we did.

We had booked an apartment with a room with one twin bed and a full bed, and a living room with sofa bed. Instead we stayed in an apartment with two twin beds and a living room with sofa bed. The opening sofa bed has a thin mattress where you could feel the iron in your waist. Definitely not for sleeping. The hotel doesn't offer room cleaning (bed making, change of towels, empty garbage bins, cleaning floor and bathroom etc), usually offered on a daily basis in hotels. We stayed for 5 nights and at some point we had to ask Mrs Maria (a nice English lady that is doing everything from cooking to cleaning) to come and pick up the garbage and give us some clean towels. The third day the air-condition broke down, we let Mr Andreas know next morning, but when we came back at night it was still not functioning. The rooms have potential, but currently they lack of any aesthetic. Also lighting was not studied properly, it is like you are in a hospital and there are no reading lights by the bed. Apart from the rooms, nothing else is renovated since the 1970's or something... It is not pleasant spending time in the communal spaces of the hotel. Breakfast lucks of quality and variety. We ate there only twice, despite the fact that we had already payed for it. We had a balcony with sea view, but still we could not sit and relax there at night due to either the roasted fish smell from the restaurant below, or the Vasilikos Power Station fumes smell. Overall, it shouldn't worth more than 40-50 euro per night.

I really enjoyed my stay at Governors Beach Panayiotis. The apartment was clean, close to the beach, with a nice sea view. The host was friendly and helpful. The Governors Beach area is a gem for those who don't need the rush of large beach resorts - it was not crowded (during my stay in June), several smaller beaches were divided by rock formations but connected through the sea, with restaurants and bars in the area. Even though the area is quite remote, it is still close to the highway and reachable also by public bus in the summer season.

Friendly host and the cleaning lady. We got a complimentary juice upon arrival. Close to the beach (1 minute). Nice balcony. Great beaches in front of the apartment. Great air-conditioning.

No Wi-Fi. The apartment is not 77m2, 40 max. 2.5 km from the Naval base and 4 km from Power Station. It can be seen on the map. Very thin walls. Just one pot for cooking.

It was one of the best "sea-shore" locations I ever visited. Located at the top of Governors beach, just a few steps to the beach. The beach is one of the best, ever seen in Cyprus. Very cozy, small, but not a crowd, kind of nice lagoon. There a number of amazing lagoons at the both sides of the host. Perfect location, friendly and kind staff, apartments itself spacy enough, clean and well equipped. There is a rich and testy village breakfast, served on hotel's taverna - at the terrace just above sea-shore with a nice sea-view and pleasant breeze. The similar view is also directly from apartments and balcony (each sea-view apartment has a private balcony)

I rated this hotel on 9.9 when I booked this hotel😂😂😂 only when I went out I realized that it was not worth 5 stars😂 but I rated it 10 points😂 because the staff asked for a score of 10😂 garden relays are not, there is no pool, by the sea for sunbeds requires money😡 order in the rooms 7 points, hotel order 5 points. breakfast omelette 10 points.

Beautifully located next to a secluded beach, Panayiotis flats are spacious, clean and have a wonderful sea view. The staff works very hard to make your stay as pleasurable as possible.

The kitchen could do with some more inventory: we missed pans, bowls, glasses, kitchen towel etc.

Beautiful but little bit outdated and neglected

Owner and stuff are super nice, helpful and friendly. The room is big, comfortable with a nice sea view balcony. The beautiful beach in nice sandy bay is right there. Its a very calm and nice surrounding and a great base to explore (by car) the Island. Couple beaches and good fish restaurant around (Faros and Adamos) Very fare price.

The accommodation is very good for the price just you have to be aware that there are some disadvantages. It could be cleaner, specially the balcony was full of sand and it was never cleaned by the staff (however the room was cleaned everyday). Our daughter used one high chair first night and it was never cleaned enough for next four days. The room is big but it is one room. There is no wall between the bedroom and living room. Don’t eat seafood here!!! Go to Faros or Adamos! This place could use some renovation its a little bit outdated. However you get a very good price and if you don’t expect a palace you can really relax there!
