About this house rental

Our creek front home on Oak Creek, is situated on 4 acres in a secluded and unique “middle of town” location. This is the perfect place for families, a getaway with friends or a small family reunion.
The property has expansive lush grass to play on and roam around. There is a children’s play structure as well as a trampoline. A red rock path leads down to the creek to take a dip, skip stones, fish, or simply read a good book. Surround yourself in serenity from the deck that is built into the trees overlooking gorgeous Oak Creek. Enjoy the orchard filled with apple, peach, apricot, pear, plum, fig and cherry trees as well as blackberries and concord grapes. There is an outdoor BBQ and a stone fireplace- a must for enjoying a bottle of wine while the kids make s’mores. Often at dusk you will spot deer eating fruit that has dropped from the trees. You can walk or bike to the restaurants & shops of Tlaquepaque or Hillside, which is directly across 179 from the entrance to our neighborhood, and offers renowned shopping and is home to a collective of restaurants for all distinguishing tastes, fine art galleries offering a diverse portfolio of art, sculpture, pottery and jewelry alongside boutiques that more than satisfy with their collection of shoes, fashion and home décor. Bring or rent bikes to take advantage of Sedona’s breathtaking bike paths. From mid-March to mid- November you can watch a pair of nesting blackhawks that return every year to raise a new brood in one of our enormous Cottonwood trees.
The main house had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with room for 7 and the detached guest house has a kitchenette, full
bath and queen size bed.
A queen size air mattress is available along with a pack ‘n play with mattress & high chair if needed.
Enjoy all that Sedona has to offer while relaxing in a truly rejuvenating atmosphere.

This is our family's second stay (spouse and in laws) and it continues to be a place of absolute peace, beauty and inspiration. In the heart of the Art district is a little plot of paradise that soothes the soul and brings family back together. The host is a pleasure to communicate with, and we are so blessed he opens this gorgeous homestead for our enjoyment. When i think back on great memories in our lives, the moments at this home will always shine through.

This was one of the absolute best rental properties we have ever stayed in (20 years, over 100 places). The grounds and house were wonderful for both adults and small children alike. Although we took a couple of short journeys for a hike and to Tlaquepaque, more often than not we just wanted to stay and enjoy the wonderful location. Definitely one of those places where the pictures look good but the everything about the actual place is so much better. Will definitely want to return.

This was the perfect place to stay for my family. My daughter’s wedding was nearby and we were allowed to use the beautiful yard and river access for her pre-wedding pictures. They were exquisite!

The house and the property grounds were truly spectacular and very convenient to all locations in Sedona. Very scenic views from the property with the Red Rocks backdrop and running creek. There isn’t enough stars for this review, this home is incredible. The pictures online give you an idea but once you are there it truly is breathtaking and so peaceful. We spent the majority of our time in the back yard enjoying the pond and fireplace, listening to the creek running. There is a ready to use bbq grill, beautiful play area for kids with a tree swing, loads of places to roam and different areas for people to go and sit and visit. The property drips in green beauty everywhere, mature trees very private and no shortage of apples 😊 The house is completely stocked with everything, they really do a nice job with all the little details. Short walk up to town, perfectly situated in the heart of everything! (highly recommend walking because Sedona has alot of traffic!) I could go on and on, this place is must! We have already recommended it to friends and would love to return in the future.

We had a very full week with friends - participated in the Sedona Yoga Festival, hiked vortexes, and ended our very full days resting on your wonderful property on the river. Strong old trees to have conversations by, a grill to cook on, and a very comfy bed to lay our heads. Everyone loved it. Thank you for such a wonderful place!

This house is amazing! We were so happy to stay here, it's so peaceful down by the creek! The house has everything you need, with beautiful open windows. Every morning we sat in the backyard or living room, just drinking our coffee, while enjoying the views! John is also amazing! When we came to Sedona, it was hit with a huge storm. John called to check on us and make sure we were okay. Our party of 7 was very comfortable. I wish I could stay here every time we visit Sedona! Also...we did get to see the hawks in their nest, it was a perfect experience.

Our house was really excellent. Comfortable and clean, it was a wonderful place to get together with family. The trampoline was a major hit with the 7 and 10 year olds. The house was relaxing and comfortable in the evenings, and we watched movies. Hiking was terrific and easy to access from our location. John, our host, was very responsive and helpful. We would certainly return.

We loved the house, the property, the location, etc., etc. Lots of space for our 3 kids and dogs to play. Plenty of room in the house to spread out. Short walk to restaurants, art galleries, etc. Close to tons of great scenery, hikes, activities. We all had an awesome time and plan to return.

Truly, there are not adequate words to convey the beauty, peacefulness, and magic of this home and property. The grounds are amazing ~ beautiful yard and orchards and Oak Creek running along the back ~ as well as a wonderful home laid out so well. Everything you could need or want is provided. We had 6 adults and 2 young children in our group, and the rooms worked out great with plenty of room to spread out throughout the house and casita. The casita itself is a little gem. This home truly was an absolutely perfect place for our stay in Sedona ~ we enjoyed everything about it. None of us wanted to leave. We will be planning another trip, just so we can stay here! And John is a fabulous host with instant communication to answer any questions. Thank you, John and family, for sharing it with all of us!!

We are a family of 5 adults ages 25-57 and we fell in love with this property the minute we were welcomed by a double rainbow. The location is perfect but the property itself is something very special. My family had a chance to escape with just us since by luck everyone could take vaca at the same time and we are so glad we got to spend it here. Incredible. We visited for 4 days. The description of the property is accurate. We spent most of the time outside. Lovely grounds. House has everything you need. Also has a guest house but was not used. Wifi was excellent. Very private and quiet. Excellent property to relax and enjoy what Sedona has to offer.

The property is beautiful as everyone that has reviewed states. But you really do have to experience it for yourself to truly understand the magnitude. The property is very well kept and whimsical. I love the layout of the house and it was the perfect size for us. Our 3 small ones loved the kids room and our young adult enjoyed his own space in the Casita. It was kind of tricky getting to a nice spot in the creek but we enjoyed the solitude of not having to share the space with the multitude at Slide Rock. This is the perfect spot if you plan on staying in, cooking your own meals, and enjoying time outside. The kids enjoyed the squirrels running around, small geckos slithering past, and colorful birds chirping in the trees. Waking up to the sounds of running water from the pond was very relaxing, I wish we would have used the deck more but we really love all the exterior lighting and how it accentuates certain features of the house and also provides a sense of security. Overall, our stay was great. After a small hiccup in communication and me not reading the instructions properly, we received instantaneous responses to our questions. This house is perfect for anyone who appreciates nature and is responsible by protecting the property's history, natural resources, and wildlife.

Very spacious and well appointed main and guest house. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone. We had 5 adults and two children (5 and 10). The grounds were amazing and Oak Creek was fun given the hot weather. We would definitely rent here again.
