the bungalow was lovely with nice touches like the towels turned in to animals and such. The pool is nice as well.
the location down a fairly long road from the main road was longer than I thought it would be, it made the place feel isolated, which, for you, might be good or bad. The food in the restaraunt was mediocre. Oh, also, there is no beach in front of the beach resort, just water and waves that crash pretty hard when it is windy.

Beachfront Villa was perfect for what I was looking for. Carl and all the workers were always so helpful and attentive! Thanks so much!
No complaints.

- Nice layout of Bungalows, quiet & peaceful
- Staff is willing to help albeit limited in professional skills
- As they built the resort close to the shore, they are facing erosion. Their consolidation works are destroying the beach and totally irrespectful for the environment.
- There is no real beach as they are on the narrow portion of the Naeman beach. No sundeckers. Can’t get outside the hotel through the beach at night due to high tides.
- 1 staff was really professional and fluent in English. 2 others were okay. The rest of staff barely speaks English. Needs to be very patient.
- Rooms are not cleaned regularly.

Very relaxed location right on the beach. My villa was great and very quiet.
Air conditioning was a bit noisy. Restaurant food was pretty basic. Thai options were better. Coffee wasn't great as they tried to make latte using coffee creamer. Best option was to wander into the resort next door.

location wasn’t great. but it was quiet.
the staff are so helpful and nice they honestly couldn’t do enough for us.
4.5
not sure about the other rooms, but those at the front line look very new and comfy. peaceful place, does fit its price
meets my requirement for a one week stay, considering that I spent all the day out of hotel and had perfect seaside breakfast and evening walks with not much people along the beach. not for those who need a big swimming pool or expects for loud parties

Hotel: great hotel complex with a great view and a great restaurant by the sea. The complex was very clean and the bungalows very nice. As the hotel is a bit elevated, you have to walk down some steps to the beach. There is not much sand between the hotel and the sea, so you can't necessarily lie there, but there was a sandy area in front of the bungalows where you find sun beds which were always available. The pool was simple and clean. We stayed there in April and the hotel was not crowded. If all the bungalows would be fully booked, I can imagine that there might not be enough sun beds and the pool might be too small.
Room: the nicest room we had. It creates the feeling of being on holiday at the beach. Nice light and wooden walls, the bathroom was very modern. There was a wardrobe with bathrobe, laundry bag, slippers, and iron. Two water bottles were provided daily. Towels for the bathroom and for the beach were also provided. If you want your room cleaned or towels changed, you just have to put a sign on the door, worked all the time. Air conditioning was great and not too loud.
Breakfast: Buffet a la cart - eggs, pancakes, muesli or rice soup. Delicious and well prepared.
Staff: Very friendly and polite. My friend broke through a wooden board in the restaurant shortly after we arrived (it was rotten). Just a few scratches but they not only checked on us several times, but also checked and changed all the boards within the next two days. Also, on the day of departure, there was brief confusion over two restaurant bills that we paid but were not deposited in the system. As we had to go to the airport, there was no further discussion from the hotel, but everything was taken care of and we could leave without any problems. A small tip here: if you order in the restaurant (pool or beach), you should always pay everything together on the same day and then also sign the bills. The staff there always handled this differently and therefore got confused.

I love the location and the view. The ambiance is peaceful. Good service and the staff can communicate well in english. Will surely book again in this property.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Pool was good size and clean but insufficient loungers.
Villa was spacious with good shower.
Overall resort very clean.
There was no beach for most of the time. Only access to beach at one or two hours around low tide.
Steps down to beach from restaurant area were steep and poorly maintained. Numerous 'take care' signs.
Lack of beach access makes walk to nearest restaurants along beach 3 times further.
Breakfast only available from 7.30am.
Choice of juices at breakfast very limited.
Pathways and wooden walkways deteriorating and in need of maintenance.
In general resort in need of some TLC.

Very helpful and friendly staff.
Good location right on the coast.
Comfortable bed
Plenty of sun beds and bean bags available
There had been a storm recently which had washed away some of the beach so it was only available to walk on at low tide. You could still swim in the sea, reachable down some rather bumpy steps.
The location is good as it is right on the coast but it is a 20 minute walk to the main road and there is no resort transport. The only option is taxi (unless you hire a car or motorbike) and they are not cheap.
No handrails on any steps or on steps into the pool.

The hotel itself is, in our opinion, the best place to stay. We have been staying here for about 20 years now and the hotel just keeps getting better and better. The hotel is constantly being modernized and offers the best up-to-date personalized service. Everything is very new and high quality! highly recommended!!

Staff are so friendly and very helpful ☺️ and food is fabulous too

it was a nice quiet area, perfect for chilling out 😁
our room was terrible, we had to get a different room.

A nice resort consisting of private villas submerged in a lush garden, next to a private quasi-beach (the real one below was often completely submerged due to high tide and bad weather), delicious, fresh breakfast options and dining by the sea. Helpful and friendly staff for sure! Some nice thai restaurants in walking distance (Grandmothers Thai food was the best!).
Mae Nam beach is a bit narrow and was often partially submerged in water, so you couldn't stroll along the whole stretch. Not many transport options to the resort and pretty expensive taxis for the distance travelled.

The reception and restaurant staff were adorable
Very calm, surrounded by nature
The hotel breakfast buffet was the best in Koh Samui so far, very complete and fresh. Eggs made to order, home made jams and flour for healthy pancakes, everything was real food.
Enough long chairs by the sea.
No beach. The water splashes against a man made wall of concrete.
There's only a raised sandy area on the edge, and stairs to enter the water.
The garden bungalow was dark
One side of the bed was against the wall
Slight smell of mildew
2.5
The location was excellent close to the beach with friendly staff.
The Hotel is in a sad state ao repair and need lots of maintenance.
3.5
Exelent staff and rom and nice wiew.
Sorry to say, but we would like to be able to lie on the beach, but that was impossibel due to the high wall and a very small beach to lie on. It Also had a lot of garbage on it and of course that is a huge problem everywhere. But on the other places we have been they have cleaned it up in the morning. But they do have a very nice swimming pool.
4.5
We had a lovely stay at Adarin. Mostly because of the wonderful staff. If you're looking to be away from the typical Samui crowd this is a great place. We hope they continue to improve the facilities and restore the resort.
The place is older and if youre a perfectionist that want everything to be picture perfect then you might be dissapointed. For us this place was just right
4.0
The bungalow is literally 5m from the sea, very very close and perched above. Staff is excellent and very very responsive.
This part of the beach has tricky tides, this is not the hotels fault. At times, one has to wade in water about knee deep since high tide is literally up against the wall of the property. Same applies when you walk down the beach, there are 1 or 2 streams that are 3 feet deep at certain parts of the day. One just has to know what time to walk along the beach, otherwise one can walk along the road.

Resort was nice , well kept good ambience. Garden was well kept also , fairly private as have hedge hiding pathway, big bed , good staff , food was ok, room was spacious enough,
Meals at the restaurant never seem to be served at the same time so one of us would almost be finished before the others was served. had to ask fur room to be cleaned on day 4 as had not been done. rooms looking a little tired , toilet seat needed to be replaced and hairdryer ( bring your own).
4.5
Incredible location. So so beautiful. Beach right outside your door. Staff very helpful and friendly. Many affordable nice Thai restaurants in the area. One moment you’re on a peaceful empty beach, and the next you’re in the centre of the town.
Breakfast was okay, not excellent. A mosquito net over the bed would be nice as I got a few bites but my partner got none. I found the prices at the airport for a taxi were cheaper than the hotel asked us for a taxi from the airport. Still amazing place and would definitely go again!

We stayed in a nice bungalow directly at the beach with beautiful ocean view.
Friendly staff and good breakfast. Very quiet area.
There are not many restaurants close by, but you can easily take a short taxi drive to have plenty of options for a nice dinner.

Nice view of the sea
breakfast was very poor and cockroach in our room

Teaser: we upgraded to a seaview double bedroom during our stay. Because of the low season, they offered us to upgrade for a reasonable price. All the staff, from restaurant and reception were outstanding respectful and nice. Everything that you need , they try to get to you. Also the room was nice and the view was amazing. Imagine waking up and looking onto the turquoise blue ocean. Clean towels, clean room and fresh water included every single day.
If you like to roam around , you should rent a motorbike. The fare at the hotel is reasonable and fair. The hotel is beachfront, but to the main road, you'll walk like 10 (slowly walking) minutes. So to get to know the island you either pay way too much for a taxi or enjoy the adventure of driving in Thailand..
4.5
Idyllic beach resort with really wonderful staff. The bedding was comfortable and the bungalow clean. Great value for money, I would definitely come back.
With the right kind of investment and update, this place could be phenomenal. It has all the potential!
