Excellent service with extremely friendly and courteous staff. The food and drinks were very good for an All Inclusive offering. The spa experience was outstanding. The hotel is in a perfect location far off the crowds of Phuket.
The furniture in our villa was a bit outdated. The hotel is in the process of renovating the facilities. The hotel attempts to offer more premium services which are not covered by All Inclusive (e.g., fine dining at Koko restaurant). However, the experience did not meet expectations as service staff were overwhelmed and food was overpriced.

When I booked this place and read the reviews I thought it was impossible, but I agree with every negative opinion about this hotel.
Barcelona lies to its customers by writing that it is a 5-star hotel. It can be given a MAXIMUM of 3 stars. This is a complete joke. We were given a terrible room number 4101. Small, paper-thin walls. The first morning after a 10-hour journey we were woken up at 7 am by the lady cleaning the apartment behind the wall.
For the next two nights, we could not sleep because we could hear our neighbours non-stop, every conversation and even the snoring of the person behind the wall. It was terrible. After talking to Hasan the manager we were given a new, better room. The staff of this hotel knew how terrible our room was and despite this, they gave it to another guest. Stay away from this room.
Another issue is the service. I have never encountered such terrible and unpleasant service in my life. The staff can't say "good morning", "please", or "thank you" these people have no manners at all. They have no idea what guest service and good hospitality mean. The prices in the restaurant are VERY high.
In addition, a 10% service charge + 7% VAT is added to each order in the restaurant, so everything is 17% more expensive than in the menu! This is a scandalous addition of service for its lack!
A 10% service charge + 7% VAT is also added to the price of the massage, the price of which is horrendously high 2000 THB.
Today, during check-out, we filled out a document with our opinion. After a few minutes, the "manager" approached us to ask why the rating was so low, we told her that the general manager Hasan knew everything. I also told her about the HORRIBLE experience with the service. She replied that they are working on it and that the service is currently undergoing training. Seriously?! You present yourself as a 5-star hotel and your staff is not even trained! What are we paying...

Die Anlage ist wunderschön, das Essen ist toll, die Lage ist ruhig und das Personal extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders den Managern Enric und Hassan und Nisa möchte ich danken. Ich würde auch jedem empfehlen am Kochkurs teilzunehmen. Wir waren so glücklich in diesem Hotel, dass wir nach ein paar Tagen woanders uns entschlossen haben nochmal wiederzukommen.

The resort is fine, Ibooked 1 villa and 2 suite rooms. There was some delay at check-in, but I was compensated with a delicious lunch. Overal good service. The only thing you need to keep in mind is the prices are higher because it’s a island. There not a lot of thing to do on the island besides from the activities the resorts offers.
I noticed some insects in some of the rooms. I believe that measures to control pests should be improved to ensure guests' comfort

I noticed that the staff didn’t always wipe the tables with the disinfectant spray between guests. In fact the table wasn’t always clean when I’d sit down but I didn’t make a big deal about it. Most show a happy face but it’s clear that the majority of staff don’t seem interested in going above and beyond so there’s clearly a moral issue at the deeper level.
In one situation, my friends and I were dining and one asked for a bit of mayo. The server said they don’t have mayo. That server is a manly Asian girl (low cut hair) with a sad countenance. I ignored her refusal and asked a manager for the mayonnaise in a matter of seconds.

The hotel workers are very good. Once a time, one of workers came and asked us, do we need anything from kitchen before they close, it was so thoughtful behavior. First night, we had dinner very late time. One of receptionist, who is Mr. June, helped us a lot, many thanks to him.
We went there with full board option. We didn’t know, all drinks with payment. They only allowed us a bottle of water in our lunch and dinner. Even they asked us money for 2nd bottle of water during dinner. It shouldn’t be like this. During our stay They have changed only once our towels in 5 days. Also what in finish inside the room, they never renew or put there again, for example we have finished our tea bags and they have never put again another one. They always put 3 bottles of water each day, it was not enough for me and for my family. Also we saw two times insects inside the our room, they can do better pest control. Also, it can be more options for food.
Their mainland reception can be more generous at first coming. They haven’t offered anything after long trips to reach the location. First arrival, We waited the transfer boat for 45 minutes, they haven’t offered a cup of tea or coffee after our check in, in mainland reception. It shouldn’t be like this.

Location is spectacular and the aesthetics of the place are beautiful. Buffet breakfast was diverse and cocktails on the beach are always a winner.
For the cost it just didn't meet expectations. We arrived on the ferry and were taken off with no direction, as a group we were quite lost and had to find wait staff who organised us to be taken to reception for check in. Check in felt very disorganised and lengthy with other parties who arrived with us becoming quite annoyed.
We went all out booked a suite with a jacuzzi which on arrival was filthy with dead centipedes and a large dead gecko on the bottom of it - I understand with it being Thailand this is not abnormal and I wasn't upset, I asked for it to be cleaned. The next morning, it hadn't been, so I sent a message to the hotel and also asked in person again if we could have the spa cleaned as we would like to use it. It was not cleaned the entire time we stayed there, with the dead gecko decaying into 3 seperate segments by the time of us leaving and a further accumulation of insects in it. The light also did not work - which didn't matter because we couldn't use it anyway.
The food in the resort restaurants is very average, lunch and dinner were expensive and just not where they should be taste wise.
While the bed was really comfortable our sleep was dreadful for two reasons 1. the power kept turning on and off through the night which would prompt the TV to automatically turn on 2. our next door neighbours would yell and party until 4am which was completely disturbing with the thin walls (not the hotels fault of course but it did add to the whole feeling of the stay).
Lastly, I actually went to fill out the survey which was left in the room for us to complete on exit.. but there was no pen. And I felt this really just summed up the stay - It seems like all intentions are there to create a great resort but efforts have come across really superficial missing out on the depth of quality that dissatisfies the cost.
I really rarely leave bad reviews but for this stay I do feel let down.

Location is good . Breakfast buffet was perfect. Spa is nice and kind staff as well. Hotel has nice daycare for kids and activities as well.
It was very hard to connect with reception after 6 pm .. it was nice if restaurants were had enough fans as we had very difficult time due to sweating specially our 7 months baby.

Breakfast had a good variety although we were surprised to be charged for our Latte's when we requested them to have caramel in. Rather than just be charged for the syrup we were charged for the full drink.
The spa was great - I had a facial, full body Scrub and massage which was exceptional.

The service was inconsistent - at times you could make a request and it may not be followed through such as requesting an iron or for a cart to pick you up. At times you were given inconsistent information too, for example being told a boat would come at 1015pm as it didn't arrive at 930pm
The boat service is poor - if you are travelling into resort it is supposed to come every hour on the hour and if you are travelling out it is supposed to arrive every hour on the half hour. However, this does not always happen despite booking it. Given the distance from the resort and land it really could run more frequently which would make the hotel a lot more accessible and flexible. The lack of consistency and fluidity meant we missed dinner reservations on my 30th birthday outside the hotel and therefore ate mc donalds which was disappointing.
The hot tubs were very dirty with dead animals an leaves. This was not just our hot tub it was all from what we could see when we walked along our strip of suites. This was cleaned when asked but it was not accessible until this happened.

The staff are wonderful, so helpful and happy all the time. The setting is magical and the beaches kept clean and tidy. The resort is well maintained and both restaurants and bars are well manned and welcoming. Food is excellent with plenty of choice. Private pool was clean and well maintained, as were the gardens.
A few problems with the air conditioner, which was fixed quickly. Some dampness problems in the wardrobe in one of the rooms, caused, we think, by the air conditioner.

Super mooie plek en accommodatie. Het is op een soort privé eiland je gaat er met een boot naartoe (5 min varen). Personeel is heel vriendelijk en het eten is erg goed in alle restaurants.

Amplasarea, confortul si serviciile oferite - organizarea de excursii direct de la proprietate, cu ghid pus la dispozitie de resort. Micul dejun diversificat, cu produse variate si proaspete, unele preparate chiar in fata clientului, locatia pentru servirea micului dejun, amabilitatea personalului, spatiile verzi din cadrul resortului, masajul de care noi am profitat din plin si a fost senzational. Noi am ales pentru cazare o vila cu piscina proprie si ne-am bucurat din plin de ea, la orice ora din zi si din noapte. Totul demn de admiratie!

Restaurant teams were good and the food generally very good too.
On arrival we were exhausted after travelling, we arrived late and due to the location of our room we asked for room service food (we paid for half board) but were told this was not included. Our initial room was the furthest away from the central resort with no view whatsoever so we decided to upgrade to a garden villa. The hotel refused to take our original booking (fully prepaid) as part payment and we were left feeling very badly treated. Despite many attempts to rectify they were very unhelpful and quite honestly rude. We reached out to the General Manager but received no acknowledgment or response from him either. The garden villas have no privacy as staff wander through the garden area at will to access different areas, our villa maid was seated inside scrolling on her phone one day, we were unsure what she did as our bathrooms were never cleaned, towels not replaced or hung up and other parts of our villa were never cleaned. Our villa came with a pool which had a broken step, we asked the maintenance team to fix which they only partly did making entry to the pool quite tricky. The staff ride around on golf carts in the blistering heat and guests are left to walk, there was no attempt to offer rides to guests and we regularly saw guests struggling with cases too. We wanted to take advantage of the laundry service advertised but this took 5 attempts and chasing. Reception staff were not helpful, often in heated discussions with other guests who were also experiencing poor service. We contacted the hotel about lost sunglasses but have had no response to date. On departure we were asked to wait at the front desk whilst they ‘checked our room’ making us feel like criminals! Surely the purpose of leaving credit card details on arrival takes care of this and any incidentals?

I forhold til vi rejste med 2 børn i alderen 5 og 7 år var det dejligt med rutchebaner og miniclub. Personalet var imødekommende, smilende og gjorde alt for at behage os.
Vi havde bestilt villa med pool, men der var næsten aldrig sol på vores terrasse eller pool, så den blev ikke rigtig brugt, desværre. Synes der manglede lidt mad muligheder.

The staff were friendly and respectful. The toiletries and bathroom felt luxury. The room service brought delicious food and the packaging was well designed. The check in process felt luxury and the boat service is well designed. There is a pool bar that serve delicious cocktails. There was a snake in the bush next to our jacuzzi and reception sent someone straight away to remove it. Although the solution was to scare it into next doors garden. Breakfast was delicious but we were extremely surprised to see a rat scuttling across the restaurant floor which no one seemed to notice or pay attention to
The room was worn and uncomfortable. We changed rooms after the first night. The first room had a leaking air conditioner with water dripping down the walls, grout from the jacuzzi was lifting and was like rocks, the bed was without a doubt the most uncomfortable I’ve slept on in Thailand. The suites are designed so that there are rows and rows so very close to neighbours. The walls were thin in both rooms to the point were you could hear next door coughing so no privacy whatsoever. The front doors are designed so that people have to slam them and it echos. When we changed rooms we were told to go for breakfast then go to our original room and wait for staff to call because the room would be ready in 1 hour. We were left waiting for 3.5 hours. This wouldn’t have been an issue if we had known that because we would have gone out instead of waiting by the phone. The restaurants are very overpriced. It feels like the hotel have took advantage that you are on the island without many options. Tax is added on at the end of the bill which I found strange for Thailand. Can only assume the hotel are trying to make the prices look cheaper until you get the final bill. Overall I wouldn’t return
