The location is very good and facilities are great for our stay. We are happy for our right choice for our Reading trip. The breakfast is very good and many choices for us. My children loved it so much.

The room was excellent, a great size with a very large bed, a good size TV and an excellent shower/bathroom. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also excellent, a good selection of hot and cold food and a great range of cold and hot drinks - again the staff were very helpful and happy!

clean room , lobby well decorated
poor service, very slow bar, very poor breakfast, no mugs, then no teabags, no orange juice, food ran out, quality passable
On check in they said i had booked 3 rooms, not do Booking.com site confirmed 1, just an unnecessary check in hassle

Very clean and tidy
Didn’t have a loo brush for the toilet and next time I would have to book a soundproof room

Excellent and spacious room and quick and easy check in process with plenty of carparking spaces. Restaurant has a great selection of food and decent bar. Room exceptionally clean and made up to a high standard.
Restaurant was freezing cold in the evening.

Bed was very comfortable. Nice shower room
To honest nothing was out of place.

Bathroom in particular was excellent.
A long walk from reception to room and a/c was feeble

Super stay. The staff where amazing especially the head waiter in the restaurant he went above and beyond to make is comfortable and kept our children and us entertained. The rooms where very clean and everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
I couldn’t think of anything I didn’t like it was a pleasant stay.

We had to teach them how to make Hot Whiskey 🔥

Check in was quite late, night staff were great - friendly and accomoodating across all nights. Breakfast had a good selection/variety and wasn't overly busy at 8.30am. Stayed during the festival, had a space to clean shoes etc but wasn't that muddy. Big car park, a but unclear where to park when arriving at night!
Easy to travel into central Reading on the bus.
Outdoor seating area needed ashtrays and a bin and more regular cleaning.

Hotel booked on booking but impossible to obtain an invoice with the name of the company communicated during the reservation. I am the customer and it is not my job to contact booking to get the correct invoice. It was only after a few minutes of discussion that I was able to obtain an amended invoice.
Second, very good breakfast but even though I hadn't finished, my table was completely cleared when I was at the buffet.
And finally, the draining of the water in the bathtub was a disaster. The pipes need to be cleaned.
The hotel is really nice but these 3 negative points were disappointing.

I've never stayed in holiday Inn before and I definitely will be using them as my go-to provider in future. Gorgeous facilities, super friendly staff and very reasonable price. We stayed overnight after going to a gig at Englefield House, left early to get into work Monday morning (ugh) but rested up in the lovely bed in the lovely room. Shower was great, didn't want to get out in fact, everything was clean and modern. Hairdryer was a good one (makes a change)...we didn't watch it but TV screen was huge! People had left their finished dinner plates outside, looked like one of those fancy hotels. And it was lovely and quiet. Parking was free. Staff were great. Reaso brilliant, loved him. Yep, great experience for sure. (Lounge and bar looks lush too btw)

Our welcome was great, Caitia checked us in and was so helpful. The beds were big and comfy and the room and common areas were clean and modern.
Nothing all great!

Staff, room very comfortable and clean. Food good.
This is not a gripe just a suggestion, there were a lot of families with young children, very nice to see but we have done that been there etc. A separate section for couples or those older or on business in the dining areas for dinner and breakfast would have been more relaxing for oldies like me.

There are a group of travelers in the car park . This is dangerous situation for staff and guest . They are coming into the hotel when they want . Making a mess in bathrooms . You need to deal with this

The staff we came in contact with were smiley and friendly. They went out of their way to make the children feel welcome. The overall feel was calm and relaxed. Very good place for an overnight stay with the family.

Good location near the m4,
The evening meal for the family was nice and drinks at the bar were reasonably priced.
Traveler’s had taken residence in the rear car park and were coming into the hotel and causing slight problems. Felt abit edgy leaving car in car park to be honest.

all good, especially the choice for breakfast which was truly amazing! Superb breakfasts.
Well, there was no bathroom mirror over the sink in our room (was a room designed for wheelchair access, I think). And no plug in the sink either. These were odd and slightly inconvenient.

Hotel was in a good location for us, went to Legoland for the day. Meal was good, booked table on arrival. Staff were nice, one waitress in particular was brilliant. Had breakfast the next morning before checking out, waitor was lovely good with the kids! Good value for money and room spotless! Would stay again. Thank you holiday Inn!
Could hear the people above us also could hear the ones next door, not the hotels fault but did keep us awake at times it felt like they were in the room with us! At one point it was 1.45am could hear the people above walking around. Staff were lovely, just some seemed fairly new, so seemed a bit chaotic at some points. But all in all a good stay, value for money, good location and spotless!

Room was very quiet given it's urban location. Parking was good.
Need was a bit hard for my liking resulting in not the best night. Breakfast was mediocre and not worth the £16 charged.

The staffs are very friendly. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.
More space for large suitcases and hangers for clothes would be nice.

Room was good and spacious .They welcomed us by offering two welcome drink as a complimentary which was nice. Even they put some complimentary cans and snack in our room which was a good experience.
Breakfast was same for 3 days which was little bit boring and hard to eat same thing everyday. There could be more varieties included in breakfast tbh.
