1.0 / 10.0
Very old and dated, unkept and everything just looked shabby, people hanging round the front doors very discomforting!! No fan no toilet roll
No net curtains, and to top it off in the evening all you could hear was someone shouting!
We only stayed to attend a local party and will never return!!

Clean, comfortable and private bathroom. Large room. Private car park. Cheap stay. Central location.
Way to bedroom was a bit of a maze and lots of stairs but it's an old hotel.
1.0 / 10.0
The location was the only good thing about it
showed us to room but didn't mention there was a massive step down into room I went first room was dark and I fell into the room into the bedside table knocking that and the phone
- dirty everywhere
Two half toilet rolls?
Bad smell to point window open making us cold
Pillows not clean
Dirty marks all over wall
Wall paper pealing off
Smell of damp
Shoddy wall fixes
Curtain half hanging off rail
Security lock on window broken!
Wardrobe literally moves when using it
Sheets had marks on
Dust everywhere
Bed wood sticking out of base of bed, every movement you make in bed made a noise
Can hear downstairs and next room thumping about and talking
Light bulb out on ceiling
Deffinetly been smoking in the room fag buts on the ledge
Shower head won't stay up in shower have to keep pushing it back up
When i checked out there was no one there and talked to other people saying they had been waiting ages so left the keys in the box

Friendly staff. Lovely dining room and breakfast great.
Rooms being refurbished but no problem for the time we were there, we booked 3 rooms. 2 rooms were fine.
Room 6 unfortunately no TV, no full length mirror, view from window was flat roof full of cig ends but would return as improvements in motion.
As above room 6.

Local to city centre
The bed every time you moved it mad a noise kept me awake most of the night
7.0 / 10.0
The bed was comfortable and the room served the purpose of the stay
The room while clean could do with a refurbishment ,as some of the seams on the wallpaper we're lifting and paintwork could do with refreshing ,I understand that they are in the process of renovating the dining room and I assume they are doing the whole building,it is a big large building probably Georgian.

Everything was great

Wir hatten unsere Tochter dabei und haben ein Babybett bestellt.
Daraufhin haben wir direkt ein größeres Zimmer bekommen.
Das war sehr geräumig und auch das Babybett war toll.

Friendly welcome, room was very nice and the car parking was good. Location was central for town.
Lots of work going on and areas of the hotel would benefit from re-decorating

Great location
The hotel staff is very friendly, the hotel room is spacious and immaculately clean
The bed was very comfortable and fairly big.

This is an unpretentious, clean, straightforward hotel that’s perfect for short stays in Rugby. Yes, it’s a bit weathered, but it’s very inexpensive and great value for the price. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I couldn’t really ask for anything more for the great price. The room was comfortable, exactly as advertised and clean.
The restaurant happened to be closed but it’s meant to re-open soon, apparently. But there are plenty of places to eat a short walk away. The iron in my room didn’t work but the front desk sorted this out in a couple of minutes.
2.0 / 10.0
Beds were comfortable for the price I was paying I couldn’t complain about that. Also, the member of staff didn’t seem to know much and wasn’t very professional but was friendly to me at least.
Old building, windows wouldn’t shut securely, heating was on full blast and couldn’t be turned down, door didn’t shut in first room, no lights apart from one bedside table lamp in second room I was moved to, thin walls and loud neighbour, labyrinth of corridors - got lost in the morning, not professional, bins weren’t emptied, little signs so if there was a fire I’d struggle to get out quickly, probably forgot other things but overall… wouldn’t recommend.

Windows were dangerous bath didn't work it was noisy
6.0 / 10.0
Friendly and helpful staff. Close to town centre.
Radiator in the room didn’t work so it was cold, member of staff gave us a portable one but it didn’t help much. Room was fairly clean but the bedding seen better times, it was old and grey and not white at all.

I like the area as I am familiar to it. There is parking although it was not clear that you have to pay £10 when you are actually staying in the hotel.
Paying for parking.
Dated property and overall condition of the hotel.
Uncomfortable bed, flat pillows.

Shower was like being licked by kittens. Pointless. Restaurant and bar not open at all, the rooms were full of junk. Garden dilapidated. Room stunk of cigarettes. TV had damaged screen.

The staff at reception was fantastic. The hotel is clean and tidy. Good night sleep with free Wi-Fi.
The bed was quite uncomfortable.
4.0 / 10.0
The location was ideal for town centre and bus stops.
The unprofessional bits of paper written on the door stating that would be back in 25 mins. The restaurant was not operating so no breakfast could be offered. The whole set up was a disgrace. Very disappointed, I was visiting my home town and attending a funeral. Would not recommend that hotel at all.
