The food was excellent
The wet room was not available in the spa which due to healt issues was the only facility I could use as I am not able to use saunas

Nice room, big bed, excellent bathroom facilities.
Breakfast service was unbelievably slow on both Sunday and Monday. On Monday the full English breakfast was short of the mushrooms - not critical, but if they're advertised......... The breakfast took so long to come I didn't want to add another delay. The food was very good, once it finally arrived.
I asked to book for dinner on Sunday when we arrived and the receptionist took the booking. On Sunday when confirming in the morning, it transpired that the booking had been made for Saturday night (we were elsewhere so presumably the restaurant wondered where we were when we didn't turn up) and in fact the restaurant wasn't open on Sunday so we then had to make alternative arrangements.

Dinner and breakfast were good. Our room was nice and comfortable with a good size shower. If you choose to use the spa at an extra cost it's well worth it. A short drive into Ludlow which is a lovely wee town with lots to see and do and many good bars and restaurants.
The garden view was not of a garden but a car park. Although we had a mini bar it was a bit pricey and a bit stingy with teas and coffee, had to order biscuits if you wanted them, which we did on one occasion but never arrived. Apart from those small details it was an enjoyable stay and would recommend.

A lovely small hotel. Has everything you need and all the staff are so helpful and kind.
The food was lovely - the breakfast was great except maybe some baked beans and/or hashbrowns with the full english. However, the eggs royale was perfect!
The spa is lovely and just what i needed but if you’re after a spa with a swimming pool and a lot of facilities this probably is not for you. I personally preferred the smaller spa as the treatments were mainly what I wanted. The hot tub outside with beautiful views was amazing, especially as I was on my own. Not sure how good this is in winter but reckon on a bright crisp winter’s day it would be fab.
Ludlow is a 25 minute walk in and you have sainsburys and tesco at a 10 min drive away.
Will return and highly recommend

Not the most storage in the room - a chest of drawers would be good but this is not that important and we were happy either way.

Nice 'small country house' feel. Professional, friendly and quietly competent staff. Good food (we ate in the bistro). Quality ambiance throughout. And best of all an unhurried, calm, and relaxed air which seemed to extend to all the guests too. Maybe because it was mid-week. Whatever, we really appreciated our stay, which was our third time.

Great breakfast, helpful staff & amazing spa with a view over fields & hills - we loved the hot tub & top quality massage treatments
Food choices for evening meals could have been wider, although this is a minor quibble as staff were very accommodating to our requests.

We have stayed at the Fishmore a number of times before and always find it relaxing. Staff are very helpful. Free unsecured Wi-Fi. The bedroom and bathroom were very good. Breakfast very well cooked.
The self service for juice and cereal is no longer available, but can be requested. The portions of butter for breakfast were very small for two people. The television programs kept breaking up.

Lovely location. Friendly staff from reception to bar/waiting staff. Good choice of food/ drinks. Relaxing lounge.

Extra large bed was great. Location and views.
Spa facilities cost extra - lots extra. Rip off.
Breakfast service very slow, and portion s very small.
Coffee was diabolical, and the 'freshly squeezed orange' on the menu were not freshly squeezed at all. Tasted like battery acid. Needs removing from menu - false description.

Absolute gem of a place, great find. Staff could not do enough for you. My meeting was Leominster and this was only 20mins travel and in such a beautiful spot. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a nice quiet night away, mine was for work so perfect and the food and Wi-fi were great. I'll be staying here for any other trips down in that area

There are two restaurant's and both are very nicely decorated and comfortable. We chose the Bistro as we preferred that menu. We both had steaks which were very nice, and the chips were excellent!! Coming from a non chip eater. I would normally have sweet potato fries but that wasn't an option. But I was very pleased with them!!
The only thing we struggles with was the door handle to the bathroom!! Its round and not easy to turn, especially when you have just put hand lotion on...in the bathroom!!

attractive, large room, lift, food
some tlc needed paintwork in room & bathroom, tv needs update, car park busy when spa visitors also no spa access unless not booked then paid

The six course tasting menu with wine pairing makes for an interesting evening. Each dish combines an exciting blend of flavours & is creatively presented. Well worth a trip if you are visiting Ludlow. Our room was particularly comfortable & breakfast cooked to order.
We didn't appreciate the group of cyclists staying overnight, who were inconsiderate of other guests. For example, talking loudly outside around 7.00am. We felt that the hotel could have reminded them that there were other guests staying in the hotel apart from their group.

The food was really good - we had the tasting menu and it was amazing. Spa was really relaxing - treatments good, staff very friendly.
It is a lovely hotel, in a peaceful location, and I'd definitely return.
Can't rate the evening meal, tasting menu, too highly. Congratulations to the chef.
Cant think of anything really...... it was a lovely hotel.
