It’s not a real Radisson blu
The staff, services and the breakfast.
4.0
Location was very convenient, lobby area is very nice and Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Allowed us to store our bags before check-in and after check-out which was very helpful. Room was comfortable with a nice view across the river. Shower was very good. Check-in and check-out was easy. Breakfast hours were good.
Upon arrival in the afternoon and walking the quite long hallway to our room there was a lot of room service items littered outside various rooms including wine and spirit bottles and unfinished food. What was shocking was they were all still there the next morning! Would have expected better from this hotel.
Very disappointed the second morning at breakfast. My son and I decide to order items off the ala carte menu. I was told they had run out of avacado, at 9.30am, OK but then my son had wanted the pancakes with maple syrup and fruit compote. The waitress told me we could get our own pancakes using the pancake machine in the buffet section. I replied he wanted what was on the menu including the fruit compote. She said she would make them? Anyway I had finished my poached eggs and no sign of the pancakes? I enquired to their whereabouts and when they eventually came, to our sheer disappointment there were 2 small pancakes on the plate, obviously from the pancake machine, with a packet of Nutella on the side, my son is allergic to nuts! I went to the buffet to at least get some maple syrup it was meant to come with. Just very unimpressive and extremely underwhelming service.

Perfect location. Reception and bar area are lovely.
The room was quite dated

the bed and the quiet. i was there to do a talk, but when enjoying the hotel room i got the peace and quiet i wanted
the kettle wasn't working properly, the view wasn't attractive

It’s a nice hotel in a great setting. Quick walk from the town centre.
Paying for parking when you’ve spent a good bit of money on a room always urks me but it’s England. Bar staff were working at a snails pace but very pleasant. Double bed was two singles pushed together.

Great location in city centre. Close to restaurants snd city sites
Carpark at hotel. Good bar with snacks and meals all day. Excellent room.
Excellent breakfast
We were given breakfast included in the rate. Otherwise it was £25 per person.
4.0
Hotel decor. Was very clean.
Stood and waited 10 minutes to check in and waited the same amount of time to be served in the bar.
5.0
I can't fault the hotel. Price, staff, facilities, breakfast, room and view over river and cathedral were exceptional.
Maybe the mushrooms could have been tastier but the hash-browns were the best ever.
5.0
Excellent location, accommodation, facilities and customer service. Food excellent vegetarian choices.
4.5
Clean, convenient, great location, easy access to everything.

I liked most things about the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a great view of the Cathedral from the room which was a great surprise. The only downside was my evening meal wasn’t very nice. The belly of pork was chewy, the mash potato was to dense rather than light and fluffy. The meal was so heavy I couldn’t eat it.
Its location
4.0
I asked for a room not too far from the lift and they provided this.
The location is great, right on the riverside with a short walk to the city centre.
The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, as ever!
The breakfast was very busy but the food was excellent and the staff were working very hard to accommodate us.
The new menus for the restaurant and bar snacks are completely unsatisfactory with very few choices.
The room service menu looked marginally better.
My sister and I had to settle for a sandwich for an evening meal with a portion of chips as we were unable to find anything that appealed to us. We weren't the only ones.
It took an hour and the chips were cold.

The location was great we have stayed here before one New Years Eve
The air conditioning was on all the time it was warmer outside
1.0
The bar was open late meaning we could stay at the hotel and enjoy a drink late rather than wonder the streets
Was in a “ double room” given two single beds covered with a skinny mattress cover to create the illusion of a double - however wasn’t much of an illusion when I fell through it , raised concerns via multiple emails to be ignored by the property multiple times , very loud , alarm sounding in the morning (Sunday) 8.30am .

The hotel was very well situated and extremely comfortable. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful.
Nothing springs to mind other a minor point that no biscuits were in the room.

It was quiet, the ghost in the room kept turning things around. Good location for the city shops and amenities staff were friendly and helpful
The bin hadn’t been emptied it was made up as a twin the shower head squirting in my eye needed fixing coat of breakfast was shockingly expensive 😳

All was fine, especially the bar :)

Everything about the hotel and room was lovely and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Apart from the steam room issues the pool and sauna were lovely too.
Breakfast was delicious lots of choice.
The steam room was far too hot I couldn’t stay in it at all had to go straight back out sadly as I love a steam room. We were told by a member of the leisure club that there were some issues regulating the temperature so assume it’s an ongoing thing but does need to be sorted out.

Location is excellent, it is a five minute walk to the city centre. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, Room was clean and light. The Euros were on and the staff put the TV on in a closed off area so I could watch it there. Also the revamp and new bar area is very good.
Lifts and communal areas need freshening up.

Room - bathroom was cleaned and bed made but kettle not put back, soap dispenser in bathroom left fallen over (not properly attached to wall ).
Material on bed headboard coming apart.

Die Betten war nicht zu weich. Super!
In der Bar hat es etwas gezogen.
3.0
lovely pool, good view, friendly staff
overpriced for what wasn’t far off the Premiere Inn. It was very expensive for what you got. Everything felt a bit mean -2 teabags, no biscuits, no minibar, one loo roll. Just all over priced for what you got. For the price charged it needs to be more special.
2.5
The position near the centre. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
It was very expensive because it was graduation week and accommodation was at a premium. Our television didn’t work properly and although it was fixed it went wrong again. We had a drink at the bar and there were no crisps or peanuts available to purchase. There were no newspapers despite the promotion stated that they were available. There was no guaranteed parking space which when you have travelled a long distance and paid £415 for the night is disappointing. We did get one but were concerned that we might not.

Location was beautiful and so accessible.
The hotel is a building site. The staff were so un-welcoming and had a very cold demeanour on check in which both my partner and I instantly felt. Considering we were here celebrating our anniversary it wasn’t the greatest start. When booking we were not made aware of the fact there was so much construction going on with furniture and plastic curtains all over the foyer, which I think for the price you pay especially if you have an upgraded room you should be made aware of. As well as construction going on inside the hotel there’s also a building site next to it which also starts works early.

We only had breakfast one of the days - and the buffet was a standard buffet. All nice, full english breakfast, all sorts of other choices AND also possible to order ala carte. It has the perfect location! And we had a view over the river and seeing the cathedral in the distance. Short walk to city centre AND the railway station.
I generally don't like hotels with carpeted floors. Also there was no small fridge in the room - we had a superior room with river view. Normally a small fridge is a dealbreaker for me, but other reasons made us choose this hotel.
I found the staff nice, though not super friendly and saying "Hi" or "god evening" etc as we were passing the lobby. There were renovations being done.
We also let the staff know there was missing soap in the showers at the spa - they weren't filled when we were there. Someone that visited us also got a parking ticket - as he didn't understand witch parking options where free.. or where to pay.

Position good
No bar, could have been informed at time of booking
Lack lustre staff in breakfast room and reception, tv in room not working. Most staff seemed disinterested in their jobs
Quality of food on offer at breakfast poor
Fell far short of standards at other Radisson Blu hotels we have used.
Car parking charge 3 times the cost of the public carpark adjacent to hotel

All v good
Sauna smell - really bad!
Pool was a little cold but good overall
3.5
nice breakfast and nice location. If you are stay in tree side, You can heard the birds always. If you stay in river side, You will see perfect view.
If you can come the main area, Main area doesn't smeels good unfortunately. In the room I try to use hairdresser lots of time and I founded only one side to use that.

Convenient and 10mins to town
Toilet - no shower screen when shower, making the whole toilet floor wet.. n the toilet sink was too low.. I think this toilet was meant for the disable..

Would like a PowerPoint both sides of the bed.
