Excellent check in with Reception staff followed by a shuttle service that operated 24/7 that took you to your accommodation.
I wish the restaurant was open everyday. Other than that it was superb.

Nothing
The parking available was very poor, you are not able to drive to your accommodation you need to catch a shuttle bus. The rooms are old and extremely small, it's poor value for the money they charge...Please do not stay here if you are elderly or disabled as I found the amount of walking and squeezing into a shuttle bus with another 10 or more people plus lugged was very painful
4.5
There location and food and beverage options.
A little pricey but probably worth it

Such a unique place to stay. The room was a good size and very clean with a good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. We had buffet breakfast included in our stay which was great. The shuttle bus service was very good. Was lovely sitting on the balcony with a wine overlooking our magnificent harbor, so many great walks and things to explore....we'll be back!!

The cottage we stayed in was fantastic! Lots of room and character.
Great view of the water.
Being able to walk around the station and read how the station was created was a great history lesson for all our family.
Beautiful and quiet location and close to Manly itself.
4.0
Great location in a secluded part of North head. Perfect to relax, hike and enjoy the Manly lifestyle.
The wharf beach is beautiful and free from waves.
The Boiler house is an excellent diner.
There is the recent add, and really excellent, Finnish sauna right next to the beach.
Due to the heritage nature of our building, the rooms were not sound proofed and the doors not very sturdy (pretty much like in the 1920's).

Position history area lovely restaurant
Coffee and tea sachets very poor quality $100 country motel style. Knife would have been handy. Need fresh air as doors closed for bush turkeys
Breakfast venue ok but not flash

Older hotel room but has character

Amazing history. Fabulous views. Lots of walking. Breakfast bar was good. We left our door and windows open and the sea breeze was lovely. I want to take my grandkids there and spend more time exploring. I even found a first settler related to me!

The location on North Head is amazing, unique and breathtaking. The historical buildings and the surrounds are a one off and worth staying there just for the historical value. The nearby walks around North head, and the lookouts are amazing.
A great place to stay during winter, early spring and autumn, but summer could well be difficult. There is no air conditioning in any of the bedrooms, but there was ceiling fans. You would probably get a cross breeze from the ocean in some of the accommodation, unfortunately we were not able to leave our door open as there were no screen doors to keep the critters out during the night.
If you were planning to stay there during the summer months, it would be wise to speak to the venue, about what accommodation would be most comfortable during the heat.
So definitely has some limitations, as is original and rustic, but a stunning location and very unique. I would definitely stay there again but choose what time of year so as to avoid the heat.😊

Outstanding views over Sydney Harbour; fascinating history of isolation facilities for infectious disease patients; adjacent to the National Park and walking trails.

Location is fabulous
Checkout was slow to the extreme … I had to tell them I owed them money and then 15 minutes for them to take our money

Beautiful view
Mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bed wasn’t made up for the children. Only towels for 2 people.
Breakfast was not nice. Mould and dirt in the dining area on the ceiling.

Location,walks etc
No fresh air (no window) as doors had to be shut with curtains . Disappointed with where we were-no view as such.
Pillows so uncomfortable. Understand rooms small but surprised how small.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is full of history and completely beautiful. The room was clean, well set up, and super comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a busy time but the staff manager the rush with professionalism and kept their smiles. We will definitely be back
The shuttle bus took a little while but considering the number of visitors it was understandable.

It’s an experience based on a historical location. The rooms are pleasant and views are stunning. It’s a yesteryear experience to use a bathroom outside your room and I understand the heritage protection prevents upgrading. Hence why it’s an experience. The bus into Manly was appreciated and the drop to your room and pick up was again an experience. I guess I could sum it up in that it’s nice to visit but not stay.

the room
Upon arrival I asked about the ferry to Manly timetable the woman checking us in mentioned it was no longer running and didn’t mention the hotel offers a shuttle service to Manly , we found out on our second day by another hotel guest. There was a dirty Qtip in the shower when we got to the room.,hot water wasn’t working, had to ring to get it fixed. batteries on remote control for tv not working had to ring to get them changed. safety lighting outside the room on walkway not working had to ring to get that fixed. At breakfast the fruit was off we had to tell the staff and it had insects on it.(I have photos) and the food selection has been cut short sine we stayed last. There were a couple of female staff that were not friendly at all. The restaurant was closed the two nights we were there so we couldn’t have a proper place for a meal on sight. (you can Uber eats or go down to Manly) We have stayed at Qstation a few times before and I was shocked at the changes since we last stayed there. The views are spectacular, the rooms are lovely and most of the staff were great.

Nothing we had a black out from 8pm so we had no wifi or tv for most of the night was in total black out so how can you rate something like that when I could have stayed home if I wanted to be in the dark and saved my money

I need my refund.
I didn’t stay there. I need my refund. When i called the staff to make sure the booking was done or not, he cut the call, my balance wasn’t deducted from my card so i thought it is not booked but the next day my balance was deducted. I contact the q station and booking.com but didnt got my refund.
