Breakfast was very nice although our orders, only two,
Came out at different times. I felt that the orders should have arrived together, especially in a 5 star hotel. Not alot to expect. Bed very comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly.
Again, a few things that I felt were not acceptable for a 5-star hotel; not enough drawer/shelf storage space for clothes, a towel rail for holding the bathroom hand towel would have been handy as otherwise we hand to hang towel over shower screen and that was too high for my wife to reach. The shower plug hole rubber seal was coming away from the plug hole. A frayed bath towel in our bathroom.

Clean and well appointed rooms. Good gym and spa facilities.
Limited seating at the bar. People were sitting in the foyer having their drinks as there were no seats available. All bar stools were removed. Bar staff were slow to attend. You couldn’t go up to the bar and order you had to sit down.
Two restaurants separated by an open doorway. One was connected to the bar and one was supposed to be more fine dining. There were no seats in the bar lounge so we had to dine in the other restaurant. Limited and very expensive menu. 4 small scallops as a starter €26, fillet steak €46. We sat next to the doorway to the casual dining area and all the while food was being taken past us from the main restaurant to the lounge bar. Food prices were significantly cheaper in the lounge which was 10 feet from where we were sitting. Did not in any way feel exclusive just felt like a rip off. €400 for a family of 4 ( 12 year old and 14 year old) . Very over priced.

The room was clean and perfectly fit for purpose.
Breakfast was very good and service was great
Because the hotel is so big and it was very busy it all seemed a bit impersonal

Breakfast was lovely. The rooms, grounds and facilities were spotless.
Staff and service in the bar was lacking. Loads of staff and men in suits busy cleaning glasses and concentrating on making cocktails, completely neglecting the customers and lacking a friendliness factor. I stood for ages at the bar waiting for my presence to at least be acknowledged and this happened to many of the guests both evenings of my stay. Really lacking in the warmth of welcome that we received in the reception on arrival and at breakfast. More customer care required

I liked the Pool facilities and Spa staff, the calmness of hotel and the comfort of the room and how our special occasion was made more special by the treats left in room for us.
Obviously nobody likes the prices of 5* hotels but it was a special occasion

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. There was a good selection of choices for breakfast
The grounds of the hotel were fabulous.
While the room was big there was very little space to unpack anything. No plug beside the bed on one side. 2 other plugs werent working.. pillows were way to big so made sleeping uncomfortable.
Both mornings our breakfasts were given to another table. The hot breakfast was only ok and wasnt very hot by the time we got it. The pool changing area was very clean but the pool itself had plasters and dirt in it. Also would advise booking adult only times. Just didnt see why its a 5 star hotel. We didnt eat dinner in the hotel as we didnt like anything on the menu

I enjoyed my breakfast but my friend was served cold eggs which was replaced quickly
We paid 39€ for a steak which very chewy and fatty and when said to the waiter, just acknowledged it and that was it, I believe that if a guest is paying that amount for a dinner that it is edible. Dessert was delicious and lunch was fabulous
