The hotel staff were lovely and so helpful. The room we were in was a better room than expected, was decorated nicely, and had a great bathtub. The breakfast in the morning was well worth the money- everything was delicious and the service was excellent.
The shower could have been a bit cleaner but the bathroom overall was great.

Breakfast was very enjoyable and the choice was excellent. The staff were really pleasent and helpful.
Opening the door to the gym area on time would of been helpful. Having to bang on the door for 15 mins to gain access the first morning was pretty dam poor, 5 mins on the second morning and a member of the public unlocking the door and on the final day I gave up after 5 mins just went for a walk up and down the street instead.

Convenient town location
Double bed / room a bit small

Good location in the town.
Dripping tap in the sink in the bathroom.

The bathroom was were huge. Tesco opposite.
The room 236 was located directly near the 6 large fans of the building (with swimming pool), which run day and night. It seems like a discounted room is also a noisy room.
The room 236 has a remarkably sloping floor, which is unpleasant.
Breakfast with less options for vegetarians.

The room was clean, and the staff were brilliant. The shower was excellent in that it was huge compared to many other hotels. The only gripe (and its a very small one) was the toom was too warm for me.
The room temperature was a bit too high for me.

It seems outdated and a bit pricey considering it was room rate

The updated and redecorated room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were given complimentary breakfasts as I had forgotten to include breakfast in my booking
The electrics in the bathroom failed on the final night of my stay. I reported it to reception on checkout. I was able to manage with light from the main room.

Excellent location right in the middle of town. Handy for railway station, shops, restaurants. Nice bar, decent beer, maybe too many TV screens
Room smelled damp and unpleasant on entering. Opening windows before guests arrive would help

Quality of breakfast was outstanding. Staff were first class, exceptionally helpful and friendly. The same can be said of the young lady at reception and the young lady who served me a drink at the bar. The best staff I have encountered anywhere and I have stayed in many hotels.
Nothing to complain about.

Very little
First room had no cold water in shower, got moved to another room no hot water in that shower. Was given access to a room down the hall just to shower. I had 2 young kids with me and had to leave them alone will I went to shower. It was the most unrestful trip I ever been on. It was stressful from start to end. I had paid for breakfast for 3 people. When we went to get some croissants and a scone from the open area I was told I'd have to pay extra. I paid 187 euro for a room with no shower facilities and didn't include half the breakfast. You have to walk through the gym to bring the kids to the pool. The bar and restaurant staff were very young and unprofessional. You'd ask for a drink and they wouldn't come back. They were chatting and you'd have to ask a second time. I brought my 2 kids here for a treat over mid term and it was so stressful and disappointing. I would like to speak to someone about a refund as I will definitely not be going back. The manager rang me Mr.O' Driscoll and said if I'm ever back in the area contact him he'd give me a good rate as it 'wasn't his money" couldn't believe my ears. Unfortunately it was my 187 euro that was spent.

The food, services and cleanliness was EXCELLENT.
Located in Central Mallow everything is close to hand.
Bathroom needs looking at. Whoever thought of putting a toilet that close to where the door opens needs a reality check.
The middle opening shower is designed for only the thinnest of thin people

cheap decor
dirty carpets
bucket of salt in one room To catch a leak!
mildew on bathroom tiles
only one pillow on each bed
