Fantastic getaway for a staycation with all the ameneties closeby

We really liked the room provided to us on the higher floor at a quiet corner which was nice and relaxing, hotel was central to shops, restaurants and bars, etc.. to celebrate my birthday weekend and a spa, swim and sauna was a bonus towards the end of the day. Highly recommended A++ . Note breakfast wasn't included in our stay/rate but there were many options outside the hotel which was perfectly fine. Lastly the late checkout option was also a bonus.

Perhaps free parking for hotel guests, we would also suggest a later closing time for the pool/spa area like 10 or 11pm rather than 9pm which was too early since it was busy earlier on during dinner time. Otherwise, there was nothing much to fault with our stay.

A tired hotel with average service

Good location and good breakfast with a wide selection of choices.

Hotel is very tired and undergoing an update from its previous iteration by a former chain. Staff are friendly but over-taxed and generally incompetent. Stayed the previous week at the Grand Hyatt in Auckland - a world of difference at the same price.

Not a good place to stay

The location

The property is run down and old but your still paying high prices for the name. Rooms were old with mild and wear on the bottom of the doors. In regards to the breakfast that you pay too dollar for did not meet expectations. The coffee was cold and so was the food on the buffet. The fruit when you touch it felt old and the Pancakes and waffles when cold and hard all of this happened both mornings we weee there. The value for money was not there at all will not stay again

Excellent stay, fantastic staff, great location, highly recommend

The property was central and convenient - location was great. The staff were amazing, particularly Cassie Liddell who assisted tracking down an item that I had accidentally left behind - I can't thank her enough. The fitness centre is amazing - probably one of the best I've seen at a hotel. The sauna was great as well.

There was nothing not to like.

Cozy but noisy

Friendly staff and good location

Bad insolation, talking in hallways can be heard in the room. Construction work underway and no notice given in advance. Interior tired and worn. By far the least attractive Marriott I have ever stayed at.

Mala experiencia

Atención al arribo cargamos con 8 maletas sin ayuda/ alguna limpieza de cuartos dejamos la habitación 8.30 por excursión regresamos a las 17 hs el cuarto sin hacer y sin toallas en los baños . Esto sucedió en mi cuarto y el de mi hija también En el bar pedimos un té y un café tardaron 40 minutos en traerlo y tomaron 2 veces el pedido porque no recordaban .. en el restaurante de abajo llegamos a cenar tenían trapos de limpieza sobre la mesa junto con productos de higiene retiraron todo y armaron la mesa gran desprolijidad en esta categoría de hotel. Falta de atención al huésped a todo nivel .

Fine to stay but there are better options for the price.

Nice front desk staff, nice pool.

Room decor dated. Had a twin room and no reading light for second double bed and generally lighting sub-standard. Bed so close to wardrobe couldn't access it easily. Only two English breakfast tea bags so hadn't been properly restocked. No robes or makeup kit. Bathroom very dated and average shower. No view at all. For $437 not good enough.

能想到的优点就是地理位置还不错

管理比较差。我们这次住宿体验感非常差。从一开始的领取房卡可以感觉到他们管理有问题，员工之间的换班没有交代。我们一开始拿到一间房间房卡，被告知第二间房间卡会送到我们房间。但是我们等了将近两个小时也没有人送过来，电话到前台，他们并不知道有这个事情，我们需要重新交代。而且第一次送的房卡还不工作，还需要电话前台重新送。还有一件事情体现了他们的管理非常有问题，周日晚上睡觉后，凌晨三点火警响了，我们赶紧起来叫上孩子们一起走到楼下集合，到了大厅后也看到很多住客都陆续下来了，我们每个人都很疑惑不知道应该怎么做。酒店没有一个管理层人员来做任何事情，大概半小时后才看到有个类似经理的人出现，然后看到火警车也来了，四十分钟后左右才有人来跟我们更新情况。每个人都坐在大厅，非常疑惑。火警虽然是个意外，但是感觉到他们的员工没有培训过这种情况应该如何处理。还好只是一个楼层的空调出现问题，并没有明火。起码应该有人在下面登记人数，看看是否所有住客都下来了。非常无语的管理。差评！

Yinze the Superstar of the JW MARRIOT

The hotel foyer is just stunning. From the moment you pull into driveway it's a beautiful welcome. The front of house staff were warm friendly and very welcoming. BUT our highlight and favourite thing about our 3 nights was the amazing bar lady, Yiinze ,(Blake). Her bubbly friendly energetic personality blew us away. Then she designed a cocktail that we got to savour... She went over and above with our service and surprised us each night with a new cocktail. She is super amazing and couldn't praise her enough. I will most definitely be back in the hope she is still injecting her charm into the bar. Thank you Yiinze for making our stay even more memorable 🍸🍹

The pool/spa and sauna hours, I wish they were open a little later.Amazing facility up by the pool tho.
