I've been visiting this hotel for years as I love the pool and the surrounding area. This time was no different. The food was delicious - great roast beef. The room was comfortable and air conditioned. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool had been improved and there is a bar outside and pool towels provided. There was water left every day in our rooms. For the cost this place is brilliant.
The restaurant shut at 5pm on Sunday and the bar 7pm. This was OK as we went to the supermarket and stocked up and sat in the garden for the evening but this only works with good weather. It would put me off if I thought I would have to sit in my room from 7pm.
When I left - there were itemised receipts for £180 but my bill was £260 so I had to pay the rest on trust. I'm sure it was correct but I would have liked to check.

The room was right by the pool was spacious enough and comfy. Has air conditioning that kept the room nice and cool during the heat wave. The restaurant was great and lunch and dinner was lovely.

Excellent continental breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere through being joined to the Mole & Badger pub. Swimming pool/patio area is an added bonus during the summer. Quiet, peaceful location on the village green. Very dog friendly. Free-standing bathtub in the bedroom, if you like that sort of thing.
Nothing.

Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was Continental style with fresh fruit ,yogurt a slice of ham and cheese with fresh, warm croissant and a pain au chocolat. Air conditioned bedroom ( it was a hot day)
Open air swimming pool.
The hotel was situated in a secluded spot and not easy to find without sat nav. No dinner was available on the evening we arrived so we had to drive out again to find a restaurant rather than take up the suggestion of a Deliveroo offered by the person receiving us.
We were not offered help to carry our luggage upstairs to our room. Both of us pensioners! Pool was only open at the weekend. No choice at breakfast.

In short everything. The host are a cool young couple who are Uber friendly and chill.
The facilities there are beautiful and functional, the pool and sitting area plus gardens are stylish and the garden is picturesque. Has a similar vibe of the crazy bear without the ostentatiousness.
The room was perfect with a walk-in shower that had strobe lighting as a feature as well as a bath. The four poster bed was incredibly comfortable as well as looking vintage. A full length mirror and plenty of space even a desk if you wanted to write. Mini bar with cookies and beer/wine. Everything you could want and more.
The continental breakfast was delicious as was the coffee. Can't wait to come back and I intend to have my birthday party there.
A fully stocked bar is also available with the option moet if your looking to splash out.
Nothing.

A perfect stay for our group! Very comfy beds, beautiful gardens. The pool was great and a tasty breakfast too. Lara was excellent, she made sure we had everything we needed. The location is stunning with an easy off-road walk down the hill into Marlow.

Lovely comfortable room, helpful staff who had a genuine interest in their guests. Very peaceful location. Nice to have a hotel that is not bog standard.
More tea bags and fresh milk in the room. The booking confirmation said the room had bathrobes and a coffee machine but both were not provided

Staff were lovely, especially Lara, will and Alisha. V comfortable bed, nice big bath in room aswell as a shower, beautiful decor throughout
Restaurant not open every day, we should've checked before but were looking forward to trying the food, assumed it would be open everyday! Weekday breakfast just a selection of pastries, yoghurt, fruit & cheese, could've done with a cooked breakfast after a long night at the bar before!

The bed was very comfortable and the garden cabin was very peaceful. A very good night sleep. The breakfast was very good
The service during the evening meal left a lot to be desired. the food was very good, but I ordered essentially a starter for my main and the server didn’t advise me. also, they made a mistake with my wife’s meal and it showed up about 40 mins after I had finished mine.

Beautiful hotel with interesting artwork owing to the owner's career. We had breakfast included (the full English was delicious). The japanese sharing meal was also very good which we had in the evening.
Lovely bar/lounge area with comfortable seating and cosy fireplace.
Jack was extremely welcoming and helpful.
Everything was fantastic. Couldn't fault the hotel. Would definitely stay again. Very happy.

Pool was shut, was told it would be open when I booked. Grab and go breakfast not to my liking and on site restaurant wasn't in keeping to the hotel.
