Well-located hotel just inside the German part of Basel and situated right above a shopping centre with a food court, with prices typical of Germany rather than the extortionate expenditures one would have to fork out in Switzerland. The centre of Basel is only a short trip away by tram.
While it is advertised that the hotel has no air conditioning, the temperatures inside the rooms are absolutely horrendous, even with the fans provided. I stay here again, but not in the summer. They could also use another lift in the building as the entire hotel is situated on the upper floors of a complex and there is only one lift serving all the guests.

Location
Reaching the hotel from its free parking and one cooler for 4 beds

The staff are flexible. I did not realize there was no AC and with the hot weather it was a struggle for the first 2 nights. The staff accomodated us into the AC room the 3rd day/night (they did not have the AC rooms available the first 2 nights). The AC rooms are much more spacious. The hotel is very clean.
Non-AC rooms which are also very tiny with hardly any place to walk

The room was large and the beds were pretty comfy, it was also pretty quiet and we had a sofa and a minibar which made a nice change. We also really liked that the hotel was located directly between the two borders with Switzerland and France and was a very short walking distance away from the Baden in Blut metal festival we travelled specifically to attend.
The rooms we (myself and my partner had a double, our friends had a twin room) got were both hotter than the surface of the sun. Not a huge deal but we did pretty much just have to sleep with the fans on full blast to avoid overheating. It's not a big deal as each room had multiple tower fans in them but it's worth mentioning there was no air conditioning or anything like that but this is a really minor issue and didn't really impact our enjoyment of our time there.

Breakfast was okay
Advice to have more focus on lactose free / vegan options but no big deal though. Other than that variety was fine.
Super super hot in the room (way more warmer than outside) and we actually considered moving to another hotel in the middle of the night. It was bc our little kids finally were asleep (however woke up a couple of times because feeling stuffy) that made us decide to stay.
Advice: no airco does not mean you can leave your guests like this. This was not even close to bare minimum requirements. Also for elderly and little children fe, it can be actually dangerous. Guys, we are in Europe and it’s 2023.
Feedback was given however no real solution was offered (try another room but with the same climate, free breakfast)
- As also mentioned please fix the very hot water coming out of the sink in the bathroom as now guests need to wash their hands/brush teeth in the shower otherwise get burned.
- Window opens in a not child friendly way being on the 6th floor (In the Netherlands I don’t think that is allowed according regulations but not sure if the same is also applicable for your country).
Sorry to all the operational staff as we understand you cannot influence this. But advice to the ones that are in control and do have the power, please improve your sh*t or shut this circus down.

Easily reached by tram from Basel city and railway station. Good value for money. Good breakfast (extra fee). Good sized room. All four beds was comfortable.
The room was really hot and the bathroom warm and moist.

The stuff was super friendly and helpful. Huge supermarket in the same building. Train to the center of Basel. Nice around parks and river side for walking.
The shower changing the temperature all time from regular to hot water. It’s a problem especially if you traveling with kinds. The kitchen hood was clogged so all smells from food fills inside.

Very good location. Helpful and courtious staff.
Low beams in the room. I hit my head twice. please put some cushioning at the edges.
4.5
Top location is top, just keep in mind the hotel is located inside a big and busy shopping mall and it takes quite a walk from the parking garage to the lobby and then again to the rooms.
Otherwise we were happy to stay there. We had dinner in Basel, slept in Germany and had breakfast in France.
Welcome to the trijunction hotel! :)

The room was an okay size, it was cleaned daily and fresh towels given daily.
It was very dated, the shower was not great and even though it was no smoking lots of people smoked and it smelt really bad walking down corridors, especially weed which the smell was overwhelming. My son has asthma and the smoke smelling corridors was not good for his chest.

Room was big and clean, personnel was friendly.
Good price for a family room.
we selected this hotel since it gave the possibility to EV charging. in fact, there is only one charge possibility and is type 1. So we could not charge our Tesla and lost 1 hour in our trip back home to NL.
The receptionist only spoke German.
The Hotel and the parking are not connected, it is advised to park on the 6th floor, but if you need to reach your car you need to go down to the ground floor of the shopping mall reach the entrance of the hotel outside the mall and take the elevator to the 6th floor again.
4.5
The room was spacious.
The bathroom was very clean.
There was no problem with parking.

Clean and Spacious room. Free parking. Right next to the hotel there is a large supermarket and many small cafes. Nice place to walk on the bridge. We can only recommend.
There was no kitchen in our room. But on photo we saw it.

good location for onward travel or days out in Basel.
unfortunately this hotel accommodates smokers so we walked straight into a room that smelled. We were tired and didn’t go back to reception to ask for a different room. In hind sight we should have done but other than that all good.

I liked that the room was fairly big. Personal pleasant and professional. Check in very quick. Convenient location in Germany with easy parking and close to Basel.
I could only (for 1 person) get a 3 person room (which is more expensive). But it was a room with 3 small rather small individual beds, so I could not even enjoy my big room when sleeping.
The small desk table is very minimalistic and is not ideal for work.
4.5
The reception was helpful. The room was nice and clean, it didn't have a great view from the window but it was no problem for me. From the hotel you could easily go the center by the tram number 8, but be aware that the BaselCard is not given by the hotel because it is in the Germany part of Basel.

The ventilator for the was not that perfect.

Nice, spacious room, good breakfast
There was no airconditioning in the room
2.5
The hotel is fine, people are friendly. Breakfast is nice and enough to choose.
The room is fine for one night, but only when it's not 36 degrees outside. The rooms have NO airco, so we didn't sleep so much. When traveling that's a no go.
