Sehr erholsame Nacht in Hotel mit sehr schöner, ruhiger Lage.

Hotel hat uns ein Zimmer mit breiten, sehr gemütlichen Betten und Balkon mit schönem Blick auf die Altenburg gegeben. Topp!!! Wirklich wunderbar! Sehr ruhige Lage, gleichzeitig nur ein Katzensprung in die Altstadt. Der Dom ist quasi ums Eck. Also ideal. Fazit: Wir haben super geschlafen. Alles prima! Schöne, frische Bettwäsche. Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, aber die Fenster müssten mal geputzt werden. Das ist unser einziger Kritikpunkt. Und Aschenbecher auf Balkon ausleeren.

Da ich nur schlafen wollte ging es, würde es aber nicht mehr empfehlen.

Frühstück war ausreichend. Betten bequem. Zimmer soweit sauber. Personal war freundlich.

Dusche war defekt, hielt nicht in der Halterung. Obwohl noch Zimmer mit Balkon frei waren bekam ich eins unter dem Dach ohne Balkon . Mußte zusätzlich 22 € zusatzpauschale zahlen.

Schöne Zimmer, aber kein Restaurant

Ruhig gelegen. Freundliches Personal. Schöne Zimmer mit Balkon.

Kein Frühstück im Hotel. Keine Möglichkeit im Hotel Speisen zu bekommen, auch Abends nicht. Nur ein Getränke-Kühlschrank. Lage doch etwas abseits, sodass alternative Essensmöglichkeiten per langen Fußweg oder per Auto zurückgelegt werden muss.

Čistota, parkoviště zdarma, centrum v pěší dostupnosti

Výtah nejezdí do horního patra. Chybí možnost snídaně, ale jsou automaty na kafe a sušenky.

Good for parking if travelling by car

The hotel was in a quiet location with free parking and a short walk into the town centre. The rooms were spacious and we liked having a balcony.

The hotel could do with upgrading and redecoration. It was the most expensive accommodation on our two week holiday but provided the least value for money.

Good

Located 10 minutes walk to old town area. So many things to see and do. Off street parking was handy. Lots of Restaurants in old town centre.

We had loft room and you needed to watch your head in some parts. Bed could have been better, but as you get older things like this matter.

Exactly as described, had very pleasant stay

Bamberg is absolutely beautiful, hotel in quiet location, nice 10 minute walk into Bamberg, uphill walk back or there is a bus stop nearby that we used when carrying luggage. Friendly helpful staff, traditional hotel, would recommend, we didn’t have breakfast.

Further out of town but a nice walk. Wifi was no good.

Easy no-contact access, clean space, and large rooms which is helpful when traveling with a family. We liked the 15 minute walk into town but I can see how some may not.

The wifi was not reliable so getting work done was not feasible.

It was good

The room was well equipped. The view of the hill was very good, especially the castle on the hilltop is lightened up till midnight. The staff was friendly too

It takes around 15-20 minutes to reach city center on foot but if you have a car then it is just 5 min.

Good

The hotel is located in a quiet quarter of the town, 10 minutes walk from the town centre. From our room we had a beautiful view of the castle Altenburg.

Very poor breakfast ... For 9€ per person for breakfast I would expect much more ... (There were no scrambled eggs, no bacon, no Bavarian sausages, etc.) The elevater lifts only to the third floor.

Poor reception

First of all there was no check in process; I arrived to the hotel shortly before 20:00 (which is not a very late hour) but the reception was closed. Someone on the intercom said there was a room-key for me in a box. Early next day I got confirmation from my bank that the hotel's bill (4nights) had already been debited from my credit card, but when checking out the receptionist told me there was no payment at all on my name, so I had to pay again. I don't know yet who's mistake was it, if the bank's, booking's or the hotel's, but had there been a checking-in process I wouldn't have this problem now. The reception service is only during the morning and that's not good at all. But among all the things I hope I can get my money back.

Great location, close to city center. Nice staff. Clean rooms. Large parking lot for free.

The room is really small. The bed is too soft, not very comfortable. There is no breakfast buffet due to covid, just simple á la carte menu.

Good price and location for Bamberg

Proximity to Altstadt (15 min walk) Free parking (first come, first served). Good for small cars, a SUV might be challenge. Clean and COVID regulations in place. Friendly front of house staff.

Nothing really. A bit of a 70’s feel from the decor (maybe a renovation is due, but in these times...) nevertheless spotlessly clean and functional.

Exceptional

One of my best stays in Bamberg. Close to city center (15 minutes walk), 2 mins walk to my fav brauerei. Very quite location, nice view of Altenburg castle, easy access by car, free parking. Comfortable bed, what else needed...

Good for the money

The room is ok, clean and has everything you need. Heating was fine (there is no AC) and internet is working good. Breakfast is standard and good for the price of 9 euros.

Toilet in the single room was really small.
