Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden bei einem weiteren Trip nach Bamberg definitiv wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, Lage ist exzellent, alles fussläufig erreichbar innerhalb Bamberg, sehr nettes Personal , sehr schöne Terrasse zum abends abspannen bei einem leckeren Wein, gutes Frühstück, Zimmer sehr schön und gute Matratzen. Kein Parkplatzproblem wegen dem Parkhaus. Rundum eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, insbesondere für einen entspannten Städtetrip. Und weiterer Bonus für Hundebesitzer: Hunde sind willkommen und das Personal ist auch den Vierbeinern ggü. sehr besorgt (ohne Anfrage wurde für den Hund einfach ein Trinknapf auf der Terrasse gebracht; finde ich schon sehr aufmerksam und bemerkenswert)

Kleines Manko: aufgrund Denkmalschutz ist eine Klimaanlage nicht in den Zimmern. Beholfen wird sich durch mobile Lüftungsgeräte. Wir sind nicht in die Verlegenheit gekommen diese zu nutzen, weil wir bis max. 26 grad hatten und somit mit normalen Lüften über Fenster sehr gut klar kamen. Im Hochsommer mit 30 grad und mehr könnte es evtl. ein Thema werden ( wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Fenster nach Süden). Aber solang es sich abends und nachts abkühlt alles kein Problem.

Zentrumsnah und ruhig

Sehr bequeme Betten, großes Zimmer, tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Die Lage war super: Nur ein paar Minuten Fußweg ins Zentrum und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Freundliches Personal. Gutes (wenn auch teures) Hotelrestaurant.

Tolle Lage, großartiges Frühstücksbuffet, Tiefgarage direkt unter dem Hotel mit Zugang zum Haus.

Kurze Wege zur Innenstadt mit Kultur, Gastronomie und Einkauf.

Frühstück war sehr gut. Da ich alleine reiste, hätte mir ein Einzelbett im Zimmer, anstelle eines Doppelbettes gereicht und es wäre dadurch mehr Bewegungsfreiheit im kleinen Zimmmer vorhanden gewesen.

Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer.

Hat alles super gepasst, wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Leider nur eine Nacht verbringen können. Parkplatz in Tiefgarage sehr nützlich.

Nice yet but could have been better if we were welcomed with a smile and more patience for little children.

The historical building and the restaurant staff.

The rude lady who checked us in was the only problem with our stay in the hotel. My 4 and 5 year old children were playing and touching the mirror in the entrance of the restaurant and that upset her so she told them off. She barely smiled when checking us in. Honestly I understand people are having bad day at times but to take it out on children wasn’t unexpected. Also the next day when I wanted to check in our new room she said it would be only available after its cleaned and she doesn’t know when it will be ready! Don’t understand why she works at the front desk if she is not friendly and do not have answers to simple questions. Next time call the house keeper office and check what time the rooms are scheduled to be cleaned.

Frühstück und Betten top, Zimmereinigung Flop

Die Lage des Hauses ist hervorragend, Frühstück sehr lecker, das Personal im Frühstücksbereich ist äußerst zuvorkommend und umsichtig, perfekt!

Es ist beschildert, dass die Zimmer nur alle 2 Tage aus "Umweltschutzgründen" geputzt" werden. Unter Putzen verstehe ich fegen, wischen und saugen. Das finde ich tatsächlich überflüssig, dieses jeden Tag zu vollziehen. Tatsache ist aber, dass nicht einmal die Betten gemacht werden und auch keine frischen Handtücher -wenn nötig- hingelegt werden. Auch werden die benutzten Gläser und Tassen nicht ersetzt, man macht also selber das Bett und wenn man die extra aufgestellte Kaffeemaschine benutzt, dann stellt man sich hin und reinigt die Tassen im Waschbecken. Allerdings muss man dann die benutzten Handtücher zum Trocknen nehmen.. Das gilt auch für die Gläser, wenn man die Minibar genutzt hat. Das hat nichts mit "Umweltschutzgründen" zu tun, sondern sind einzig und allein "Sparmaßnahmen".

Paying 18 euros for parking motorbike. situated in the furthest point of the hotel, with what felt like a broom cupboard. Very little room to move about. Nothing like the pictures. Had a job to stand up due to sloping walls.

Mehr Schein als Sein.

Gute Lage und das Personal zuvorkommend, Das Frühstück war gut.

Die Hotelbeschreibung erweckt Erwartungen, die nicht erfüllt werden. Das Gebäude war nie eine Residenz oder Schloss, sondern ein Krankenhaus. Der Name ist Fake und reines Marketing. Unser Zimmer war klein, laut (zur Straße gelegen) und erfüllte unsere Erwartung nicht. Die Klimaanlage war außer Betrieb gesetzt und der hochkant auf der Wand gesetzte Heizkörper im Zimmer war an nicht einmal gestrichene rohe Kupferrohre angeschlossen. Der hohe Preis ist aus unserer Sicht nicht annähernd gerechtfertigt.

Für 2 Übernachtungen war es i. O.

Interessante Lokation: Hotel in einem ehemaligen Krankenhaus und nur ca. 10 Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt.

Zum Frühstück war eigentlich alles vorhanden, die Qualität erschien uns teilweise etwas verbesserungsbedürftig.

Comfortable stay, good option for a weekend getaway

The rooms were comfortable. The hotel had provided a fan considering the warm summer (much required). The staff were helpful throughout. The breakfast spread was okay. There is a sauna (steam, sauna) and fitness room, which can be used on request. The location is close to the Domplatz and touristic attractions. Plenty of parking

Would have liked more fresh fruit in the breakfast. Only had a small window in my room (so felt a bit low on ventilation)

Lovely Luxury in Bamberg

Beautifully appointed room, though quite small. Finishings and colour palate were lovely. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was superb, excellent perk. Also, the option to forego housekeeping and receive a complimentary drink per guest was a great incentive. Hotel was a quick walk to historic Bamberg. We loved our stay here.

Room was noisy as it was on the road side. Also, with no air conditioning the room was very hot. The staff provided a fan upon request which made the temperature more comfortable for sleeping.

Bamberg is a beautiful town, full of old buildings and water. This hotel is perfectly fine.

The beds were very comfortable. I needed a second pillow which was provided immediately. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I‘ve ever had at a hotel. There were a lot of guests but no line-ups for the buffet and servers who also provided coffee and tea and kept the tables clean and clear. You could also sit outside on the big front patio. The location of the hotel is perfect, easy walking distance to see the sites. It‘s a big seminar hotel but it was still quiet.

There was an exceptionally long walk to our room. The bathroom was a bit dated and the tiles could have used a good scrub and bleach. There was no mini bar / refrigerator in the room but the staff kindly put our thermos cooler blocks into a hotel freezer and remembered to get them for us when we checked out. Still, the little refrigerator was missed.

We were a little early so that was OK. Said to come back in an hour. So sat right in front of reception, saw people checking in . Still waiting. Finally I thought I'd better ask. ...the room is ready now. I wondered how long did I need to sit there for. I'm sorry bad service.

Great Location but small rooms

The hotel is really pretty and the location is really centric. We could walk to almost all the touristic locations and come back to the hotel to take a break now and then.

The rooms and included breakfast were not spectacular. The room was particularly small and not that special considering that is located in a very pretty building. I would say the price of the room is elevated compared to what is offered.

Very nice place to stay when discovering Bamberg

Very nice Hotel in a historical building - very good atmosphere. Professional and extremely helpful staff, especially during the busy breakfast period. High quality of products on the breakfast buffet , good selection and everything very fresh and tasty.

A bit noisy when people talk in the corridors, but finally it was no problem for sleeping since not much people were wandering around at night.

Wonderful location and wide range of choice at breakfast. Attention to details such as water, gummy bears and coffe machine in the room really appreciated. Staff was very nice and available. Great idea to avoid cleaning the room every day when not necessary and give a little incentive to guests in return.

Room was quite clean but could do better for a 4 star hotel. Hair dryer was a bit old.
