good value for money

super price, breakfast all self-service and good variety (continental breakfast)

you could see that furniture was old. some stuff eas broken and needs a fix (f. e. toilet seat). we could hear the children running upstairs, felt like living in an apparemment with neighbors 🤪 (room was in 3rd floor and family suite is located on 4th floor)

Room was warm clean and comfortable. Guy on reception was cheerful and helpful, perfectly adequate breakfast. Train station 5 minute walk

Very comfortable and convenient for our trip through Switzerland

Beautiful views of the traditional buildings and mountains. Good local food and beers in the restaurant.

The proprietors are absolutely lovely (its a family-run business). The rooms of the hotel were recently renovated

Convenient location around Bex/Saint Maurice for a short stay

Good breakfast, super friendly staff, location convenient if you want to spend time in Bex or Saint Maurice. We were there specifically for skydiving. Place was clean and quiet.

The pillows were uncomfortable/old/clunky. Heating didn't seem to work very well but we were not cold anyway.

Don’t miss dinner in the restaurant - a great added bonus!

This is a well run, well located, friendly little hotel with a great restaurant. The apartments on the top floor work well for family groups and provided us with a super base between Geneva and Bouveret.

If I was nit picking I would say that the beds could be comfier, and it’s a bit pricey - but that’s Switzerland.

The hotel is good. There were 5 of us and we went to a wedding nearby. For that it was perfect If you are looking to put your head down for a couple of days. Rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need. Staff are very helpful. We received a parking ticket but the staff sorted it all out for us. (we were in the correct parking space) THEY DO THE BEST COFFEE

There was no cooked breakfast. There were a lot of church bells going off every day. We had a room at the back but if we were in the front of the hotel it may have been noisy as its on the main road.

Charming, well located, reasonably priced hotel with good restaurant

This is a charming, low key hotel, relaxing, really well located, with delightful, helpful staff and a super restaurant. Despite being only a short walk from the station our room, on the top floor, was quiet aside from church bells. St Maurice is a very convenient place in the valley to stay if you want to travel by train. We zipped to Montreux for the afternoon the day we arrived, over to Le Bouveret for a day and we’re were back in Zurich just over 3 hours after we checked out. The restaurant is a gem - short, focused menu but covering enough bases to please most. The cooking is excellent and the service incredibly friendly. They were ever so nice to our children too.

On the top floor in hot weather you end up choosing between airflow and insects at night. A fan might have helped with the sultry nights.

Simple but can recommend

Stayed for 1 night and had all I needed. The location is perfect, very close to the train station. I also walked to the lovely Bains de Lavey which are 20mins away by foot. Staff was very kind and helpful. They let me leave a little bag there for a week while I went off to hike the Tour des Dents du Midi.

The room was very small, bathroom was ok. Everything quite old.
