Great location to feel and see the heart of the alps with character
The hill on the way up to the train station. Also didn’t enjoy the pillows that were provided

The property was in an amazing location with beautiful views. The best part of the stay was the hospitality offered. We were greeted with a wine and cheese tasting in the garden, delicious breakfast was included with our stay, the staff did our laundry for us in the same day for a reasonable price, and they offered to help us make reservations when the onsite restaurant was closed for a night. Most importantly though, Tomas at reception really made our stay, essentially planning our itinerary for us, giving us tips for how to maximize our time in Wengen/the Jungfrau region. We completely followed all of his recommendations and were so glad we did. Would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Edelweiss to anyone visiting the Jungfrau region. Our trip truly would not have been the same had we stayed anywhere else.
Everything was great!

Another Fabulous Stay!!! Daniel and all his team Tomas, Pedro, Matthias and all the staff, will make sure that you are having an Amazing vacation! They will make you feel at home, with their kind and warm personalities. Daniel and Tomas will help you plan exciting excursions and give you wonderful hiking tips. It was nice to have Pedro serve at breakfast and dinner time too. Also, It's great to have Matthias for their new chef. He will prepare a very delicious four-course meal for you.
I really enjoyed my corner balcony room! There were beautiful views of the waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen Valley and snow capped peaks in all directions! Very comfortable room too!
You meet very friendly people from all over the world when you stay here! You see a beautiful smile on their face, because they know they are in one of the most charming car-free villages in Switzerland! 😁
Thanks again Daniel and all your staff, for another amazing vacation in Wengen!

Our family of 5 loved our stay at this charming family owned hotel. Daniel and Thomas were fantastic hosts, and Daniel met us at the train station to assist with our luggage. We chose the half board option and enjoyed a wonderful four course dinner every night, and also had the option of fondue as a special treat. The hotel is located in a stunning setting overlooking the valley below, and provides easy access to the fast gondola as well as many beautiful walking trails. The hotel also has a sauna which we were able to book for private use every day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted with everything we needed.

Family-run business and getting to know Tomas. This was our first visit to Switzerland and Tomas went above and beyond to orient us to Wengen and the surrounding area. Great recommendations for hiking and other activities. My husband and I cannot thank him enough. Breakfast was lovely as was the dinner we had on our first evening. We felt very welcomed by Tomas and all of the staff at the Hotel Edelweiss. It was the ideal introduction to our Swiss adventure. We are so grateful.

This hotel is a gem, not as much because of its physical facilities (which are just fine) but because of (1) its location and the views, but more than that, its incredibly committed owners and wonderful staff!
A bit hard to find from the train station, and Google Maps proved inadequate to the task. Still, I found it.

We like their breakfast, and the Sauna facility. Room is sound-proofed and clean. Friendly staff. Owner Daniel offered wine&cheese free tasting event in the garden. It's fun and delicious.

Location is very near to the train station. About 5mins walk, but walk is a bit steep. Staff is very friendly, helpful and make your stay very homely. We had a 4 course dinner, food was good. They take care of your diet options and for us they made it available at the last moment. The owner of the hotel is a very gentle and nice person. He made last minute arrangement to carry our luggage up hill up to to the station. You can enjoy coffee/tea 24*7, they have a nice simple lounge kind off setup with a small library and a play area for kids. Also, they had option to sit outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. It was pleasant stay for us.
Everything was fine.

I had a great trip and this is a special place, great proximity to Jungfraujock, a car-less village. Thanks to daniel who was a super host and recommended the cable car and trek which was amazing. And have to mention the food, it was pretty amazing all of the 4 courses and great value too. I will be back for sure.

A well composed, delicious dinner menu at affordable price. Breakfast was very good. I think our kid ate up all the free candy in the lobby.
The (down) hill from the station was a bit steep. So was the price for luggage transport up the hill (Swiss Franc 18.00).

Great view, great sauna, very nice breakfast, and great people there! I travelled with my son. The booking.com messed up some room information but the hotel manager helped out. Moreover, I lost my phone on the mountain, my son hurried back but the lost&found center was almost closed: the hotel helped to get it from lost center so we finally got it without missing the office hours. Thanks a lot to the hotel management!
Oh by the way, don't miss the special home-made drink in the morning during breakfast! It is made from many herbs surrounding the valley and mountain by a mysterious gentlemen!
Call hotel for correct information first before making the payment as booking.com may mess up the room information.
