Our host was friendly and helpful! We arrived early and were able to store an extra bag so that we could explore a bit before checking in.
The location was wonderful (just a few minutes walk to the Staubach waterfall), and breakfast was delicious.

The property has an excellent location and if you are lucky can get a room with an awesome view. But what I liked the most was the great attention and service from the staff. Gabby who received us was the best! She gave us an excellent explanation of the place and also helped us prepare a takeaway breakfast for early in the morning to visit the top of Europe as we planned to leave early and it was perfectly prepared and left it in a fridge. It was awesome! We liked so much the staff we even booked another extra night. Thank you so much Gabby for letting us have an amazing experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Rosa. Gabby was very welcoming and the room was comfortable. We had shower gel and shampoo provided which was helpful when travelling light! The breakfast was nice with a wide selection of sweet and savory items. The location is perfect, only 5-10 to the station and 2 min from the waterfall and walking trail through the valley.
Everything was as we expected.

Very good location, clean, breakfast included.
There is no parking on site but nearby (€15 for 24 hours). Spaces are a but narrow and it gets really busy during the day. It is difficult to find a spot.

An amazing place just an egg drop away from the waterfall and the train station. Very polite and professional staff. I highly recommend it.

The location is unbeatable. Lauterbrunnen is absolutely beautiful and the Chalet is located right there. The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking is hardly 50m away where you can park for longer hours as well.
Nothing much except the fact that since it is located at the main door, it can get noisy at night when you want to sleep with windows open. But that was manageable.

Location is perfect.view from the room was brilliant.
We reached before the check in time and the welcome was not as warm as it should have been.

The location is great and being central close to all the sights. Carol the host was very nice and helpful and helped us out with parking.
Kids had a bunk bed with no side thing so I had to swap so one of them didnt roll out.

The woman who manages the Chalet is named Carol and is one of the kindest and interpersonal managers I have had the pleasure of meeting in my travels. She truly is what makes the Chalet the best choice in the valley and the main reason why you should come particularly here. The team Carol has recruited also is very warm welcoming and willing to help with any of your concerns. One of these team members, Raffee, we would often see at breakfast was always egar to find out what you have planned to do and if you need any advice or tips to better explore the area. It had caught me of guard how I could come for only 10 days but leave as if I had in a small way, made friends here. The rooms are very clean which is always a huge deal breaker for me. The breakfast is accommodating to your schedule. The views are ineffable and unrivaled, I promise you will not leave this valley without being awe struck from the landscape on multiple occasions. With all that being said, if you are looking for above average quality, comfort, service, and location... then this is the choice for you. I urge you to give this place a strong consideration before you solidify your plans not just because of the establishment itself, but because of the people who work in it.
Very little negative comments can be made about the location and how it is managed. I spent 10 days here and it is impossible to find a valid critique of the chalet or how it is managed. The only thing I can say is the second floor ceiling is ~6 feet 4 inches high so if you are over 6'4" in height (I am 6'5") you might hit your head. With that being said... our room was on tbe 2nd floor and had a veiw of the falls out the window, and I would ask for that same room again regardless of the ceiling height.

Location was excellent. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
WiFi wasn’t very good away from the lobby. Breakfast area can get quite crowded in the morning.

The location was fantastic with an amazing view of the waterfall out the window. It was close to restaurants, a bus stop and a short walk to the train station. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.
The wifi was horrendous. I couldn’t even use it in my room. I had a single bar of strength, it was slow and it would kick me off. It was better downstairs but very inconvenient to not be able to use your phone in your own room. We had limited international data on our phones so this was a big downside for us since we had to make arrangements for tours/travel.
Second, we never did get to try breakfast. When we arrived we were only offered a couple slots later in the morning because of Covid social distancing and unfortunately these were too late for our travel arrangements and tours. It would have been nice to be able to select a breakfast time at booking so I didn’t end up paying for extra breakfast. Also there are no plugs near the beds so my I had to plug my CPAP machine in across the room and run the cable which was a minor inconvenience but something to be aware of when booking. We were lucky we have an extra long cord or else it would have been more problematic.
