My favorite hotel in Pilsen

Location, staff is extremely nice, cozy room, great breakfast. I just love this hotel, I was there for the second time and hopefully it wasn't the last time.

Das beste Hotel in Pilsen!

Immer wenn wir in Pilsen sind, muss es das Hotel Rango sein. Wir waren schon sehr oft in diesem Hotel und können es wirklich weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist top, die Mitarbeiter super freundlich, die Zimmer sehr schön und die Betten sehr bequem. Wir freuen uns jedesmal auf unseren Besuch. Weiter so!

Es war sehr aufregend und gemütlich gleichzeitig

Bettwäsche und Bett war hervorragend, kostenloses Upgrate und das Personal hat mich zum Parkplatz begleitet, mein Koffer getragen. Sehr zentral gelegen. Restaurant war hervorragend.

Im Hinterhof das Geräusch der Lüftungsanlage stört aber nur bis 22:30. Kein Aufzug also Vorsicht mit Koffer.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal

Saubere, wunderschöne, moderne Zimmer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Leckeres Frühstück und auch das Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend!

Wie immer sehr schön.

Die Unterkunft sowie die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet. Die Lage ist für eine Stadtbesichtigung perfekt. Tür auf = Zentrum. Das Frühstück war wie immer klein aber fein. Der Kaffee war grandios.

Großes Zimmer mit gemütlicher Sitzgelegenheit, 48 Zoll TV mit ca. 150 verschiedene Programme (alle deutschen Programme)! Großzügiges Bad mit Badewanne, Dusche, Waschbecken und WC

Kein Aufzug, aber da Zimmer im 1. OG verschmerzbar!

Comfortable, friendly and great location

Great location, well designed and very comfortable bed. Clean and modern bathrooms.

Confusing entrance, it is not very clear which door to choose. And lots of stairs made luggage tricky, although staff very helpful with this. Had to park in nearby public parking so a bit of a trek with luggage.

Exceptional

Great little hotel, perfect location, quiet rooms, tasty breakfast & helpful staff. Staff speaks good English which is super important, I don't know why there's the assumption that Czech and Poles understand each other because the languages are so similar. Well, I for one don't understand a word when Czech people talk fast and I don't expect them to understand me when I speak Polish, so I really appreciate the staff switching quickly to English.

Great hotel, but not all rooms come with AC.

Big, comfy bed, extensive cable package, modest breakfast included in the price

Not all bedrooms have air conditioning. I specifically booked this because the hotel listed AC as an amenity, make sure you double check when staying here at a warm time of year. I asked to switch rooms, but they were fully booked. If I'd known, I might have gone over to the Marriott instead.

This hotel is incredibly good value for money as it's literally around the corner from the main square of Pilsen. The room we had was the superior double room and it was an exceptional size having wardrobe / storage, sofa, incredibly comfortable bed and TV (no fridge). The bathroom had a bath and separate shower and was a good size as well. The décor of the hotel and the room was beautiful and well thought out, I was really impressed with it. Something to note when booking this hotel, it is a very old building and therefore I believe only the top rooms have air-conditioning (I'm guessing due to the logistics of installing it) and I can confirm that this room did not have air-conditioning. This is will not be an issue if you are used to the heat or stay outside the incredibly hot times and we were ok for 2 of our nights stay but we did struggle with this towards the end as the crazy heat wave started. Another thing to add is that the city tram does stop directly outside the hotel so if you struggle with city noises, you may wish to book one of the upper or back rooms. The hotel did supply ear plugs free of charge which was thoughtful but I didn't feel it was that noisy (although I live in a city so I am accustomed to city sounds). Please also ensure you contact the hotel when booking if you need a parking space as they have limited spaces (less than amount of rooms available) however there is secured parking a 5 minute walk from the hotel which cost 25 euros for 4 days which is really good value for money. Overall experience was pretty good and would recommend people consider staying here, if for nothing else than the value for money and location.

Unfortunately, we did have a disappointing experience when it came to breakfast our first morning. Unlike any other hotel I have ever stayed at, we were advised that apart from filter coffee, any other coffee (espressos / latte / cappuccino) was an extra charge. Further to this, the continental breakfast was small, nothing was labelled (I'm sure this is mandatory due to allergies?) and the meats / cheese / yogurt were not kept cool. The meat was starting to discolour and the cheese was sticking to the serving platter. We did go to reception to give our concerns and they did take on board our comments and apologised for this. We were offered any coffee we wanted at no extra cost for the remainder of the stay (that was great thank you! However it should be the normal standard for all guests at a 3 star hotel) and the meats / cheese did appear to be kept cool every day after this. I didn't catch the guy's name who took our feedback however I just want to give a shout out to him as he was very tentative and listened to what we were saying and did his best to help.

Everything.the rooms were comfortable breakfast offered a good choice,The staff were so helpful. If you choose to eat in the restaurant, you would not be disappointed. Hotel Rango is situated very close to the main square and on the tram routes we were able to walk to the brewery

Our room was a little noisy as we faced the road. The hotel provided earplugs. So, if you want a quite room ask for one at the back. We had a 6 ft8 giant with us and he found that the shower was quite small. A small price to pay for such an excellent hotel.

Living in style in Pilzen

Tastefully furnished hotel located in the very center of Plzeň. Nice service. Perfect cleanliness in the rooms. A good restaurant is located in the basement. Comfortable beds. Well-functioning wi-fi. Private parking.

The surprise was the extra charge for an espresso at breakfast time.

Location fantastic. Relatively quiet as well. Fun and interesting attic room. Easy checkin and checkout. Breakfast fantastic. Really good croissants and tomato/cheese toasts.

The bar to keep the window shade down in the bathroom was broken in Room 8. lighting wasn’t the best. Harsher, cold light but no biggie. Could have used more coffee at breakfast.

Breakfast was poor, for example cappuccino not included in the package. I ordered omlett for extra money and i got it with raw onion... We rush to left the hotel but staff was not on the top.

Wonderful stay

The hotel is very well located, within walking distance from the Pilsen Urquell factory, the restaurant is one of the best we’ve been to and the prices are very reasonable. The room is well-decorated and sparkling clean. The highlight of our stay were the people who work there. They exceeded our expectations in every count. We’ve been lots of places in Brasil, North-America, The Caribbean, and Europe and the only place we got a similar service was in another family owned hotel: Villas el Encanto in Cozumel.

Hotel Rango is a perfect place to stay when visiting Pilsen

Hotel Rango is located just a few minutes walk from Republic Square which was perfect for us because we were only visiting for a couple of days but were able to see so many interesting places. The hotel is elegant and the room was attractive and comfortable; breakfast was excellent. Staff was very pleasant and courteous. Pilsen is a really cool and interesting place, and we will definitely return and stay at Hotel Rango.

The perfect hotel for a city trip to Pilsen

Nice, small hotel in the heart of the city, just a minute or two from the main square / city center. Very friendly service, modern rooms, excellent breakfast.

The single beds are quite narrow, TV could be located more comfortably.
