L'emplacement
Chambre d’un autre âge et pas forcément propre
La qualité du petit déjeuner n’est pas bonne
4.1
Beautiful view overlooking the sea.
Nice swimming pool
Very old hotel - beautiful (but could really need a refurbishment)
Lack of service compared to expectations. Staff not friendly and barely smiling.
Breakfast really poor - very limited selection, tables not clean, staff not helpful - took 30 min to get a coffee.
Expected a fitness room as described while booking but were told that it costed EUR 15 extra and could only be used from 4-7 pm which makes no sense.
In general, price and service did unfortunately not match.
4.1
Friendly and helpful staff!, the hotel is located in such a perfect area with accessibility to multiple shops and restaurants.

Very old style hotel with beautiful common areas. Abundant buffet breakfast (bread, tomatoes, loads of cake, croissants, eggs bacon etc)
Very close to the village centre and very close to restaurants
Staying here gives you access to a private beach at villagio turístico baía del Monaco, as well as an umbrella and chairs
The staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful
All in all we liked everything. It would be nice that they actually had a usable shuttle service to the beach, given that the one they offer runs at 7 45 and comes back at 13 00

Short way to centrum. The pool
The hard pillow

The spa was in incredible…all styles of pools and hot tubs. It’s a short walk to the famous sanctuary and castle.
4.1
Location was good, nice room, nice terrace, great view. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Unfortunately, our room was stinky with unpleasant smell. Hotel was crowded with huge amount of people, groups. Amenities inside hotel and interior are outdated and “tired”
4.1
The view from the balcony the luxury room.
the breakfast is portioned out like in a military installation. you are not allowed to take by yourself and you are watched that you do not take "too much of something", or 2 cakes of the same…perhaps it can also be compared a bit to a school canteen.
the bed/mattress may have been from the opening of the hotel 30 years ago…softer to sleep on the floor. there is only bed linen even if it’s winter. The bead-spread cover over the bed was dirty and u could see stains after people that stayed before us.
the extra bed witch is a couch-bed was shaped after all the Bodies during this years opened, so you kind of lay in a "hole" in the mattress.
the towels were "sheets" and not towels.
no slippers or bathrobes.
tv-only one channel worked.
light in the lobby was off to save energy(I guess). so you arrive to a dark hall.
the pool aria was closed for the winter. but that’s totally understandable:
other then this it was all fine.

Everything great

The hotel is right next to the historic old town. The room was big and the terrace was good with fantastic view.
The beach is great. Ok one has to drive half an hour down from the hill, but it is fun, especially if one likes hairpin curves.
None of the waiters speak any languages but Italian. They don't even try to make themselves understand.
Luckily one of the guests realized that we did not learn Italian in the last 5 minutes and the waiter did not learn English, German , Russian and Hungarian ( these are the languages we speak) during this time and translated that the waiter did not like that the two of us sat down to have breakfast to the only free table that was one for six person. Meanwhile a smaller table got free and we had to sit there. It wasn't a problem, but in a 4 star hotel it is very surprising that the waiter is almost shouting at you.I understand that he tried to explain us the problem but...🤣🤪

View was Amazing! Good parking possibility! Nice pool! Nice beach area! Large room with balcony.
No self service at breakfast buffet.
Two mattresses instead one big mattress.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Lovely swimming pool and food was delicious. Added bonus were the tickets that allow you the use of an umbrella and beds at the local beach. Stunning views.
Unfortunately the restaurant was below ground so you couldn't enjoy the amazing views as you could at breakfast. Not sure if that was just a temporary thing.

Very nice place, clean and well organized. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The town is located high in the mountain and the road was very steep, with very sharp turns. However, the view is beyond words - absolutely amazing!
4.1
Our room was spacious and comfortable.
The terrace was generously sized with a view of the bay and hotel pool.
Breakfast service was traditional buffet style with OK selection.
Ample parking however it's confusing to find the first time.
There was a short walk downhill into the town and the castello.
Wifi didn't work for several hours and the reception staff showed no interest in assisting/investigating.
Planter box on the terrace was dead.
Dinner options in the town felt quite limited - we learned the hard way the bookings were beneficial especially on the weekend.

The staff is most hospitable, kind and professional. To notch.
The hotel is comfortable but some facilities could get a bit refurbished and refreshed.

Location
Breakfast
4.1
The hotel settings are very nice and near the main attraction in town. It is conveniently located at the hilltop with amazing views. The Spa facilities are worth visiting for a relaxing end of the day after the (nearby) beach. The provided beach from the hotel is well maintained and full of services, besides good food venues and options.
4.1
Location is phenomenal. Breakfast is good.
Bathroom need serious repair and update.
Very noisy as hallway is long and tiled and sound travels. You hear every step or trolley or child from far away.

The hotel makes its job as announced on Booking website: very nice view on the landscape, good breakfast, clean, nice employees, good swimming pool, etc.
It has its own private parking, very good !
You will not have bad surprise. Go ahead to book it for your stay in the area.
Looks like the Overlook hotel to us. Actually quite funny.
The hotel is still in the 20th century.

Nice view from hotel entrance yard.
Rooms bit small.
4.1
The location is practically in the city center, at a few steps from the sightseeings with great panoramic views. The swimming pool is was a nice asset. We liked the beach down the hill, with sunbeds and umbrella free of charge. Our room was spacious, with an intimate balcony surrounded of green. The breakfast was good, you can get also scrambled eggs and bacon, which is very rare in Italy.
We liked everything. Just a suggestion to the managers: it would be nice to provide some local food on breakfast; there is plenty around...

The nice view
4.1
It was situated outside of the city up in a hilltop with a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. Our room had a huge balcony- perfect to relax with a glass of wine. Aldo and Enrico were very accommodating and we enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner at the hotel restaurant.
The decor is dated but it was comfortable.
4.1
The hotel is clean, the views are amazing. The staff was friendly (sometimes a bit of a language barrier). The pool area is very nice, also good parking possibilities. The breakfast was great.
The rooms are a bit old. The food is not super impressive but good.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous town
