Location for hospital was brilliant, food in bar was beautiful.
Rooms far to hot, booked twin room and had to separate beds as it was double.cobwebs in window, awful breakfast, rather have quality than quantity, choice of fruit very poor, cold, cheap bread so we passed on it the second morning,I wish I'd not pre-booked it. I've been coming here for many year's but this year was a bit disappointing, when this hotel was the devere twenty years ago it was luxurious compared to now.

Pub and grill was good.
Had to stand and wait with my 6 year old child for the swimming pool, should have a time limit to make it fair for all, waiting 1 hour is far too long.

Asked for a twin room and got a double 🙄 had to share with a male friend who I didn’t know that well.
Great to have a pool however I felt like l was at butlins! The second time I have visited, the first time was relaxing however the second time was not relaxing at all!! Wild kids everywhere unsupervised.
Kids just roaming the hallways through to 9:30, unsupervised running wild everywhere. The food was waaay overpriced. £20 for a tiny bit of salmon and broccoli with mash that tasted like it came from a packet. Restaurant was total chaos.
Breakfast was dreadful, nothing left at 10am and the quality of the hot food was rubbish for £12.50 per person!
Bitterly disappointed.

Evening meal good breakfast good. Staff great
Room not clean, had to move room as toilet was flushing all over the floor. Paid for a room with a view and was moved to a carpark view. Couldn't use the pool facility as no towels and no locker keys. Children in the pool all day instead of at allocated times. Spa staff very blazai. Not an enjhstay.

Pleasant and efficient staff on reception. Service in restaurant bar very good. Free parking.
Room service not good. Unable to customize order. Difficulty to contact bar to order. Had to go down myself.
Food and drinks expensive at bar.

Pool
No air con
Pubic hair in shower
Carpet hadn't been vacuumed
Couldn't even get our pram into the room because it was blocked by a bed too close to the door
At breakfast no one explained we could order things from staff that weren't present at the food tables

Good location and great leisure centre.
We had two rooms the double room was fine. However the twin room was exceptionally small and the twin beds were just a double bed pulled apart with about 3 inches between them and wouldn’t move apart any further. I was sharing a room with my 23-year-old son he really doesn’t want to wake up face-to-face with his mum 3 inches away very unappropriate. There was one ceiling light in the room which was positioned outside the bathroom so in the main room it was very dark. We also have no shower gel just two shampoos. There were adjoining doors to another room (not my family) which were obviously locked but 8 am in the morning I could hear the conversation the guy next door was having on the phone heard every word complete lack of privacy. considering the price of the room I’ve stayed in ones for less than a third of the price that were more spacious all in all better.

The bathroom was a state the bath knob falling off the glass door to shower being jammed shut the bath being left on hottest setting and the window left open and window ledge inside soaked

The breakfast was really good. They really looked after my husband with the gluten free breakfast. The location is perfect.
3.0
Breakfast poorly cooked, only scrambled egg, bacon looked like it had been boiled in water.
Evening dining in the pub was full of noisy men watching football on tv, with no quiet spaces to eat. The room was full of TVs all with football on, even the breakfast room had TVs with sport on. This hotel is not for couples.

Stayed here a few times just think the price is a bit on expensive side thats all or maybe give some discount offers to guests

Attitude of reception staff. I visited unexpectedly due to husband being seriously ill in nearby hospital. Staff were totally disinterested in helping when I complained about room. Receptionist more interested in watching young men visiting health club.
