Stayed for MotoGP. Good location for Silverstone. Arrived Friday left Monday.

A wonderful hotel in brilliant location, but lifts need fixing urgently.

I’m a perfect central location, spacious lounge and rooms with good facilities and excellent helpful professional staff. Breakfast well presented with wide range of choices, but bar meals very limited abd fixed menus.

The ongoing situation with the lifts is unacceptable: one broken for months; the only other is too small and not very smart; thus could be a single point failure for the hotel. Also the in-room safe did not work due to faulty clear button : should have been checked and mended.

fantastic locarion for access to the town centre, secure parking for the motorcycle and vehicles.

£8 per night to park the bike 🤔 only thing i would say the room could have done woth a fridge. being picky though.other than that perfect for our trip. will be back.

Bucht nicht dieses Hotel!

Dieses Hotel ist vielleicht vieles, aber niemals ein 4 Sterne Hotel!! Bei der Ankunft hatten wir weiße Flecken auf den Bettlaken die aussahen wie … Die Dame vom Zimmerservice hat uns dann nach unserer Beschwerde gesagt, dass sei kein „Schmutz“, sondern Reiniger von der Maschine, aha?… die gleichen Weißen Flecken haben sich dann erneut auf unseren Laken gefunden nach dem ersten Lakenwechsel, einfach ekelhaft. Dazu wurden die Kissen lieblos aufs Bett geschmissen. Das Zimmer selbst war nicht wirklich sauber und wir hatten Aussicht auf die wundervolle riesige Klimaanlage aus den 60er Jahren auf dem Dach des Nachbargebäudes. Diese war so laut das wir Nachts das Fenster nicht öffnen konnten. Die Flure des Hotels wirken wie aus einem alten Horrorfilm, dunkel und schmutzig. Das Frühstück und der Frühstückssaal sind eine absolute Zumutung. Jeder Stuhl ist dreckig und das Frühstück sehr mau für das was man bezahlt. Unter der Woche gibt es nur bis 9.30 Uhr Frühstück und ab 9.00 Uhr wird das Buffet nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Das „Gym“ ist im Keller ohne Fenster und ohne Lüftung und die Geräte sahen aus als wenn diese beim Bau des Hotels vor 30-40 Jahren gekauft und seitdem nie wieder gereinigt wurden. So sehr wir gerne Sport gemacht hätten, das hat uns so abgeschreckt das wir es dann einfach gelassen haben. Auf der Karte beim Abendessen gab es eine sehr kleine Auswahl zwischen Hotdogs, Burgern und, zu unserem überraschen, Tapas. Als wir diese dann bestellen wollten, haben wir aber erfahren das diese aktuell nicht zu haben sind… 😪 Das Hotel verfügt über 2 sehr kleine und langsame Aufzüge von denen der eine allerdings bereits seit mehr als einem Monat (basierend auf der vorherigen Bewertungen des Hotels) außer Betrieb ist. Hier werden wir nie wieder buchen.

Great hotel, would recommend

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and very tasty Breakfast. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again. Toiletries in the shower and kettle with hot drinks supply were provided, and room also had a very useful number of plug sockets

Pillows on one of our beds were overly soft, but definitely nothing to complain about

Newly refurbished the hotel was immaculate. Evening meal was good and reasonably priced. Lovely nights sleep and extremely helpful staff.

Perfect for a Business Trip

A pleasant hotel perfect for a business trip. Room was clean and tidy with plenty of space. Breakfast was superbe despite being a buffet, very fresh, well presented, a cooked just perfect.

It lacks identity, which is a bit off putting from the outside. Perhaps needs something to uplift the whole kerb appeal.

Only one lift Was working. For some reason there were a couple of people on the ground floor (outside) at 4 o'clock in the morning talking loudly, staff or customers I couldn't say but with the window closed it was still enough to wake me up ( room 519)

Breakfast value for money, tho vegan options would have made it better. Location great. Tried to charge up my phone but was very slow with plugs in the room..OK downstairs ..maybe phone chargers would be good.

Good option for a short stay

This is our 'go to' when visiting family in Northampton. Great location for the town centre amenities, ample parking (for a fee), clean and comfortable rooms and recently refurbished foyer and bar area.

The bar closed at 10pm, which was a bit early!

Perfect location in a modern hotel. 10/10

Hotel was modern and we received a newly renovated room which was really nice. Bed was comfortable and big bathroom.

Only one lift in operation but didn’t mind taking the stairs. There was construction work also taking place early in the morning but again that’s a once off didn’t mind it.

A well run hotel with many virtues but one or two significant drawbacks

Central position and good facilities. Staff were very helpful including organising dinner at an Italian restaurant for me

My room was lacking in lighting beyond reading lights. It proved impossible to keep water in the wash basin. No dinner service on my Friday arrival because catering in the restaurant was only for a large party. The website made no reference to this unhelpful possibility. Bar food didn’t make up for this. Why only one lift working?

Northampton has a good vibe to it night life was busy and some nice bars an food.

The location is good with a secure hotel carpark. Facilities such as iron & hairdryer in the room were good, bed linen towels etc were very good. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, the bread selection was a little short of variety but was ok.

The hotel is generally looking tired, our room the bathroom door was blowing out from the bottom due to damp, water wasn’t staying in the shower area. The room itself was a bit dull paint & pictures.

Great location for Northampton town

A Litany of Disappointments: Northampton Town Centre Hotel

The only good thing about this hotel was its location.

My stay at Northampton Town Centre Hotel was deeply unsatisfactory, marred by a series of disappointments. The room was not only distressingly small but also poorly maintained, with a faulty faucet and unsettling cleanliness issues, including hair found on the bedsheet. The encounter with the staff only exacerbated the discomfort, as their rude and indifferent attitude, combined with the hassle of repeatedly malfunctioning key cards, made the experience frustrating. To add insult to injury, the food served, particularly the breakfast, was evidently stale and unappetizing, falling far below acceptable standards. This series of shortcomings collectively contributed to what was an exceptionally regrettable stay.
