Staff cannot do enough to help

Lift was extremely slow and another not working. However, reception were very apologetic and explained in process of repair

FROM START TO FINISH AMAZING. ALLSTAFF FROM RECEPTIONIST, BAR STAFF AND BREAKFAST ATTENDANTS ARE FANTASTIC WHEN I TRAVEL AROUND THE COUNTRY I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO STAY IN YOU HOTELS. BEING A PUB LANDLORD IN JERSEY I WILL SING YOUR PRAISES.

Hotel was modern and we received a newly renovated room which was really nice. Bed was comfortable and big bathroom.

Only one lift in operation but didn’t mind taking the stairs. There was construction work also taking place early in the morning but again that’s a once off didn’t mind it.

The staff were pleasant and very formal. However there should've been more staff at reception. The room was very spacious and clean, and the services were great, and the view also.

The lift was that big, and it got a bit congested in there.

My room was lacking in lighting beyond reading lights. It proved impossible to keep water in the wash basin. No dinner service on my Friday arrival because catering in the restaurant was only for a large party. The website made no reference to this unhelpful possibility. Bar food didn’t make up for this. Why only one lift working?

Spacious and comfortable rooms, 1 min walk from the town centre

Wanted to order room service as I was tired from travelling, the room had no phone, I was told to come down order at the bar and they would bring it up. Not the best setup

The location is good with a secure hotel carpark. Facilities such as iron & hairdryer in the room were good, bed linen towels etc were very good. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, the bread selection was a little short of variety but was ok.

The hotel is generally looking tired, our room the bathroom door was blowing out from the bottom due to damp, water wasn’t staying in the shower area. The room itself was a bit dull paint & pictures.

Have stayed here many times, always clean, friendly staff, breakfast is awesome as always. "Luke" was amazing brilliant member of staff. xx

Staff were excellent. Loved the super king bed! Ideal location for town centre. Breakfast was good. Hotel has its own car park but payment is required on check in.

The only good thing about this hotel was its location.

My stay at Northampton Town Centre Hotel was deeply unsatisfactory, marred by a series of disappointments. The room was not only distressingly small but also poorly maintained, with a faulty faucet and unsettling cleanliness issues, including hair found on the bedsheet. The encounter with the staff only exacerbated the discomfort, as their rude and indifferent attitude, combined with the hassle of repeatedly malfunctioning key cards, made the experience frustrating. To add insult to injury, the food served, particularly the breakfast, was evidently stale and unappetizing, falling far below acceptable standards. This series of shortcomings collectively contributed to what was an exceptionally regrettable stay.

The gym was a great bonus. The room was clean and fresh and the toiletries were thoughtful.

My bath towels smelled of food. Maybe the laundry area is near the kitchen?

The property is very central and clean. Very nice Christmas decorations and lovely breakfast . Staff very polite

Staff excellent, we had a good room at the front away from a big event at the back. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous! I could even follow my slimming world and not feel deprived. Food fresh, tasty and a very wide variety

Já ficámos (minha mulher e eu) neste hotel umas 7-8 vezes desde 2020 (filho estuda em Northampton). Seremos portanto 'returning customers' que gostam do hotel. Porém, nunca ninguém se dirigiu a nós como tal ou sequer mostrou conhecimento de tal facto. Somos sempre tratados como se fosse a primeira vez que ficamos no hotel (sempre 2 noites ou mais). Desta vez desci do quarto à recepção para pedir um adaptador (emprestado); o empregado aparece com um e pergunta-me se eu tenho comigo o meu cartão de crédito, que são 25 libras de depósito!!! Nesse ponto zanguei-me e disse que nesses termos não funciono e que ele ficasse com o adaptador; acto contínuo, deixou-me ficar com o adaptador sem sequer tomar nota do nº do quarto!!! Conclusão: os colaboradores têm que ter um treino sério de 'customer orientation and satisfaction' e os sistemas têm que ser programados com essa vertente' em mente.

They managed to get hold of some soya milk when it wasn't provided in the rooms. The room was very comfy and met all our expectations and you can adjust the room temperature to what is the best for you.
