Short break.

Friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Simple but nice breakfast cooked well and presented Nicely. Thank you to the chef. Use of fridge in the room. Comfortable bed. Cleanliness.. Wi Fi

Finishing in the en suite could of been better. Broken floor tile needs fixing. No toilet brush or air freshener. The lead from the kettle didn’t reach the socket. Furniture outdated up cycling would be a good way of upgrading. Although the room was clean not hoovered.

Convenient value for money stay off the M1

Close to town, pubs and restaurants. Welcoming staff and comfortable room

Decor dated, lamp didn't work and also radiator valve defective. Not a very effective electric kettle set up as had to move chest of drawers to plug it in.

Well worth the stay

Good location, friendly staff

No lifts and i was on the 2nd floor which i struggled with all the stairs. Did not have breakfast due to me unable to eat most things

Nice hotel

Beautifully decorated hotel. Excellent room sizes. Very friendly staff. Went for my friend's wedding. Made everyone welcome. Well stocked bar

OK, but a small bed and traffic noise meant a not particularly restful night.

Late booking was greeted by a friendly receptionist. All staff were helpful, and cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast cost extra but was good. For a late booking and urban setting its a pretty reliable facility.

The bed was tiny (4' wide) and not very comfortable. The location has some quite noisy traffic.

Not expensive, central to the town, friendly staff, nice rooms

Lovely staff, very accommodating to our needs as we needed to check in very early and then come back in the middle of night and allowed us to ring the bell and go in, polite also and room was exactly as described!

Very pleasant stay perfect for what you paid for, noise outside was a little loud but was on road

Room was as requested and the bathroom exceeded expectations

The noise outside, being close to the centre of town there were a lot of loud cars until early hours of the morning

been renovated but still have the feel of old victorian.. partly renovated.

check out time at 10.30 they knocked my door on New Year’s Day after a long night at 10.35 to check out. a bit too early for a check out but that was the terms and if I know in advance wouldn’t have booked this hotel.
