We were very happy with our short one night stay as we were attending a family christening event so location very good.

We like the restaurant and the good sized cups in the room and bath

Everything was fine if rather pricey as cost of room excludes breakfast.

we were there meeting family for a wedding. it was clean and comfortable but a little expensive. staff were obliging and

property was clean but a little overpriced. for £100 per night, I would have expected breakfast included.

shower wasn’t great and bathroom door didn’t close properly.

Gorgeous hotel, wonderful food

This lovely hotel is close to the Leeds-Liverpool canal, you can enjoy a stroll from your bedroom. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well equipped. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and were delighted with the quality of the food and the friendly service. I stayed with my Japanese family in law and feel they were treated to a beautiful English countryside experience at a very reasonable price.

Short, quick stay, but if I happened to be back in the area, I would stay again!

We arrived late at night and the staff went over and above to make sure we were catered for. All staff were walking about with a smile on their faces!

A refurb has made a big improvement to this hotel, but it can’t change the traffic noise.

Traffic noise. couldn’t hear it with window closed but we prefer fresh air through the night!

I would highly recommend the Rufford Arms.

Fantastic room, clean, stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. The food is exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble when all the family came and joined us for breakfast on the last morning, babies and all, they accommodated everything with a happy smile.

For May, it was a little expensive at £100 a night not including breakfast.
